There are so many bucket hat patterns and titles out there but this is the best because it shows you how to make one of any size and you don't need a printer. Genius. Just genius. TFS x
Oh my goooddd! Are you psychic? I’ve been gardening more and wanted to get a bucket hat! Too bad some of the best are 40+! I was wondering if I could make them myself omgggg 😭😭😭
I measured my head for the initial measurement behind my ears and to the middle of my forehead with a measuring tape. It ended up turning out wayyy too big. What head measurement are you looking for specifically? Should I be measuring around the top of my head so that it’s much smaller? Otherwise, thanks for the video! Easy to follow and super fun.
@@asandamgobhozi9449 I tried again with making a new pattern, and I took the measuring tape to the very top of my head. It ended up being about 2 inches smaller than my previous measurement which made a DRASTIC difference for the rest of my pattern pieces. Now it actually fits instead of being an XXL hat.
I use lining paper (yes, plain wallpaper) for patterns I'm going to use a lot. It's nice and durable and, at over 50cm wide, will do a head circumference of at least 157cm. I'm pretty sure your head can't be that big 😂
I am trying to make this right now:) when I was making the pattern piece it took up THE WHOLE FRICKING PAGE.I was like woahhh is my head big or is her's really small🤣
Addie Farrick I don’t know how to explain it very well, but I think when you’re sewing the two different fabrics together fold inside the seam allowance as you go before you stitch them together though. Hope that helps

Hey i don’t really understand how you made the side panel would you please give me more information about how you can make the side panel
Great easy video. Use different fabric print or durable fabric to make reversible hat. Use only lining for regular hat.

You did a great job. I might have to make me one. Maybe a faux leather. 🤔 because I make things difficult. 😅
I think you should do it with faux leather. Its always good to challenge yourself

How do you attach the brim to the hat to leave no raw edges? I want to make a reversible hat but I can’t figure out that part. Thank you 💕
