Hi, I just saw this video now, I always have the question of is it ok to go to the beach, swim in the pool, sweat in the gym?? Do you notice a big difference of your tan lasting if you do these things?? Very informative video, love it xx
Thank you for doing this video. I've never fake tanned except for Jergens lotion and tanning bed when I was younger. I've worked really hard to improve my sun damage and I'm wanting to start using fake tan so thanks for the tips.
Saint Tropez is my favorite tanner! I used Jergens for so long because it was less expensive but Saint Tropez is so worth it! My mom gets migraines from certain smells but every time I put on my tanner she loves it lol.
Thank you - love that you just look a little kissed with sun glow. Hate the orange color I can sometimes become. Just bought your number one choice and will try it tonight on my fair skin.thanks for the tips.
Loved this video! I had been using the tarte one too before discovering Deciem’s glow oil. It’s a dry oil you put on after showering and you don’t even need a mitt. Never had any streaking with it. It is a gradual tanner though. I used it for a trip to the Dominican last year and everyone was saying they’d never seen me so dark (my default is white, almost blue colouring lol)
Sadly this ghostly white person had to give up from self-tanning. Exfoliating frequently already dry skin and not moisturizing right away so I could apply self-tanner + some moisturizers do patch the tan + photosensitivity and applying frequently sun lotion = mission impossible. Now I only enjoy when I see others with that bronzy, beautiful, fresh look :) Great video, there are always new, not experienced or interested viewers!
So considering that I’m Black....that fact that I’m watching your tanning video is saying something girl!!!! 😉🤣😍 #notificationsquad #WhereIsHarper #MissThoseBabyBlues
Kristina.....dry brushing daily is my holy grail for skin maintenance and for self tanning is the best...bar none....I even have my 10 year old doing for her dry elbows...you should def try it!! I just love your chanel girl...mmmmmahh!
How timely is this video! I just picked up the St. Tropez water tanning mouse at Nordstrom today! Ready to tan tonight! Thank you for the self-tanning tips! ❤️
I'll have to try that St. Tropez. I hate hate hate the scent of self tanner, it bugs me all day long. I sure hope that Water Mousse works like you say :) I've heard of another one called "The Gradual" from Sephora. I've been wanting to try that one too.
I’ve always used the knock off St Moriez (dupe for St tropez) I’ve always hated it but I finally splurged for the real St Tropez (original formula moose) and I loved it! Then when I woke up the next day I was broken out everywhere in hives! I’ve used other self tanners in the past but my skin was not happy with St Tropez! Always do a patch test! Has anyone else had this problem?
This was so helpful! Thank you!!! I loathe the “ripe” smell!!! I noticed you have 2 Cartier love bracelets. Have you had any problems with the screws becoming loose. I also have 2 & have had lots of issues with that.
Soooo weird, but the Vita Liberata is one that totally doesn’t go patchy on me! And with one application lasts definitely a week and a half... Want to get my hands on the new St Tropez tanning water!! 🤞🏼😘😘
I just started fake tanning again, I’ve used cocoa and eve, bali body and b tan and no matter what everytime I put on lotion afterwards I can watch the tan break up. 😩 I’ve been told to put lotion on before, but every video I’ve seen says not to. I’m at a loss it’s such a process so it sucks to go through everything and then wash off the guide color put on lotion (even if I wait 24 hours) still happens. So now I wonder if I try that it’ll be better!
Ok, crazy question. How long do you have to wait before you can wash your hands (bathroom, eating, etc). I’m usually too tired to tan before bed and tanning during the day would be an amazing option but I’m a nurse and you know, constantly washing hands. Thxs!
I am naturally tan LOL but I love you and would watch anything that you post. It was good to learn something new and also went to the Adore Beauty site and want to learn more about the Babyliss Pro flat iron:)
I may have missed it.....but do you use the St. Tropez Mousse on your face as well? If not, then what do you use on your face? Thank you for doing this video because I've never tried this before and would like to stop being so pale. :)
Do you take off your love bracelets when you tan? When I get an airbrush tan my place always recommends Hempz lotion as it will not break down your tan. They also shared that Dove soap has something in it that can turn your tan orange, who knew 🤷🏻♀️
wow ty for the product mentions. I'l probably try that st tropez clear stuff because I can't stand the self tanners with pigment indicator , it gets all over the place lol
I also like the Self Tanning from St Tropez and I looove that it does not stain. However, I do find that it have the same smell as other self tanners :-(
I am a relatively new subscriber to your channel, and even though I’m technically a “senior citizen 😖”, I throughly enjoy your videos. Thank you for the information on self tanning.
I reccomend get a quality Mitt not a cheap one! :( I could only buy a cheap one at the time and I had to make do and honestly the application process was slower and more annoying! :(
“I’m sorry but I do not have a three day commitment for anything” (7:45) 😂😂😂 Says someone who went through Medschool and Residency and is married with a kid and two dogs. I feel you, this is so on point!
#Notificationsquad I'm a lil late, we had to send off my precious little Hercules🐈 across the rainbow bridge this morning. He was 17 years old. 😥😥😥. Thank you for providing your vlogs and videos to help us survive the harsh times. Huge hugs, Kristina!
I always use my body wash but scrub with those exfoliating gloves, save your money and skip the body scrubs...also has anyone tried TAN-LUXE self tanner that one is clear as well.
This is super helpful!! Is it OK to self tan while nursing?! I miss using self tanners but read that the DHA is not safe when nursing (like retinol). I have a 6 month old too :)
I have a line on my neck from when i used to be fat. when I put self tan on it, it gets darker. i dunno wut to do. should i put lotion over the dark area like I do my elbows and knees ? I need to tan my neck , otherwise i will look like a circumcised 2 toned penis .
I seen this 30 minutes late while I’m sitting here waiting for the tan to develop omg
Kristina, Could you comment on fake tanning your face or neck? products or technique? Thanks!

I needed this video! I had NO clue- thank you!!!!
Best tanning advice I’ve heard in a long time. I’m just not a fan of Loving Tan but I love St. Tropez.
I usually hate self tanning because of the staining. Thanks for this--definitely going to try the ST Purity Water Mousse!
Saint Tropez is my favorite tanner! I used Jergens for so long because it was less expensive but Saint Tropez is so worth it! My mom gets migraines from certain smells but every time I put on my tanner she loves it lol.

You are cracking me up talking about smelling “ripe”. I have always said fake tanners smell like rust!
Lisa Kear YESSSSS! That describes it perfectly!
Try ethnic towels like salux, little italy, hammam mits for exfoliation

I love you Kimberlee!!!! Harper says hello
I am too....😂🤣😂 We love you that much....
Hi, I'm black also. Just wondering why you tan at all. I do love your videos, you are down to earth
Kimberlee M Lololol.😂 Black too. The whole white girl tanning thing though had me curious so I had to watch. Who knew it was SO involved. WOW!!
Kimberlee M Yes!!! Same here. I don’t need to fake tan but yet I’m still so intrigued to watch her and learn about tanning.
Excellent video! Very very helpful. Thank you.
Also I was wondering what you use/if you use anything on your face?
I just bought the St. Tropez mousse yesterday and applied it while watching this. Thank you for the tips!! #notificationsquad
Awesome video!! I've never self-tanned but now have some idea what to do and what to buy.
Kristina.....dry brushing daily is my holy grail for skin maintenance and for self tanning is the best...bar none....I even have my 10 year old doing for her dry elbows...you should def try it!!
I just love your chanel girl...mmmmmahh!
I just bought the St Tropez classic mousse, how do you think that one is? It will be my first time using self tanner.
Being a new Mommy agrees with you Kristina. You look amazing! Blessings from Dallas!

Gemmer Snappie literally going to ulta when it opens... lol #momlife

That’s awesome!! Do what works for you! I’m so happy it works for ya! 😘
What a helpful video! Thank you so much!
LOVE your videos!!! Can I ask if you tan as a doctor? I'm a medical student and can't tan because all the handwashing leaves me with white arms!
I love your hair in this video! Love St Tropez, it gives the best tan!
I just started fake tanning again, I’ve used cocoa and eve, bali body and b tan and no matter what everytime I put on lotion afterwards I can watch the tan break up. 😩 I’ve been told to put lotion on before, but every video I’ve seen says not to. looking beautiful as always Kristinaaaaaa!!!!!
I'm in LOVE with your jewelry in this video!!! mixing metals is my fave
Ok, crazy question. How long do you have to wait before you can wash your hands (bathroom, eating, etc). I’m usually too tired to tan before bed and tanning during the day would be an amazing option but I’m a nurse and you know, constantly washing hands. Thxs!
I definitely am going to buy a mit soon, thanks for including links. I use the Banana boat slef tanning lotion and love it.
I am naturally tan LOL but I love you and would watch anything that you post. It was good to learn something new and also went to the Adore Beauty site and want to learn more about the Babyliss Pro flat iron:)
You’re always gorgeous, but you look extra pretty in this video. Love your hair like that.
I’ve been so scared to self tan, because I’ve never seen anyone break it down like this before. Thank you for making this video!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I may have missed it.....but do you use the St. Tropez Mousse on your face as well? If not, then what do you use on your face? Thank you for doing this video because I've never tried this before and would like to stop being so pale. :)
What is the product you exfoliate with? Thank you! I am very pale as well and I hate products that turn you orange!
I added the link to the description box! it's this one: plushbody.com/products/coco-gold-coffee-scrub
This is so helpful! Thanks for this video!

I would've love to see the after results
Omg I’m a weird one! I love exfoliating!
Saame i feel so clean!
I was looking at the St Tropez Water Tanning mouse today at Sephora, but wondering if it applies like the Loving Tan Mouse ?
I’ve been using the St Tropez classic tan. Will definitely try the new clear one. Thanks🌸
I never self tan before so this was helpful pretty momma! 👍🏻😘😘😘Sandy
How many applications do you find that you can get out of the clear St. Tropez?
Thank You for your detailed and very informative video! Girl You Rock!
Love loving tan! I’m also super pale and it has worked great. I’ll have to try the St. Tropez one though
Will you talk about how you apply the clear tan without your hands looking orange and patchy?
If you use the mitt your palms will not go orange! Also the purity mousse doesn’t go orange anyway. :)
It’s mineral oil that breaks down the DHA. So avoid mineral oil in your lotion and it won’t strip it
wow ty for the product mentions. I'l probably try that st tropez clear stuff because I can't stand the self tanners with pigment indicator , it gets all over the place lol
picked up the St.Tropez water mouse yesterday bc of you lol! loving it on my face
Thank you Kristina!!!
Love ur videos!! I wanna get that St . Tropez stuff you use . 💙💙💙💙💙
Yay!!! Love your videos of any subject 💜💜
Just got a spray tan and the girl at the salon said to use an alcohol free moisturizer as that is what breaks down the tan
I also like the Self Tanning from St Tropez and I looove that it does not stain. However, I do find that it have the same smell as other self tanners :-(
I tried the tanologist but it left me patchy if I reapply it will it cover it up or is it just a mess and I need to exfoliate it off and try again?
Thank you so much.
Not self tanned ever.
Watching alot of video's.
Seriously a great video!!! Love
I am a relatively new subscriber to your channel, and even though I’m technically a “senior citizen 😖”, I throughly enjoy your videos. Thank you for the information on self tanning.
I have natural tan skin tone being Indian and I still watched this video in its entirety lol 😝 enjoyed it still. 😁
Thank you Chani you are awesome. 🕶
I found this Helpful Kristina😊👍
Texas Lady 😊
I’m so happy my natural skin tone is just right! I’m not white white nor am I tan. 🙂
Thanks for the info. 🤗🤗
I'm soooo excited to try the water St Tropez! And I'm even more excited that I won't smell like a foot after an hour! I just love ya! 💕

You look so pretty in this video!! Love, love, love Loving Tan!!!
Kristina! What editing software do you use? Ps. Love you!!!!
Well done.
I reccomend get a quality Mitt not a cheap one! :( I could only buy a cheap one at the time and I had to make do and honestly the application process was slower and more annoying! :(
i love u and miss ur vlogs😚😙
If you are putting fake tan all over your body, do you have to sit around for a little bit naked or is it safe to put on clothes when you are done?
Thank you! Finally, something I can use on my pale complexion without looking like an Oompa Loompa. P.S. I tried Whispering Angel and it’s amazing 😀
i fake tanes and my hands have orange stains on them what should I do???
Use lemon and sugar scrub to help remove. Or use tan removing towelettes
@@kristinabraly THANK YOUU
“I’m sorry but I do not have a three day commitment for anything” (7:45) 😂😂😂
Says someone who went through Medschool and Residency and is married with a kid and two dogs. I feel you, this is so on point!
The ingredient in moisturizers that makes tans go patchy while trying to maintain the longevity is alcohol!! Get a fragrance and alcohol free lotion!
What is on your lips! I love it! Love you too 😂💗 thank you for this video!
Lips are one of those new Gelato lip glosses by Laura Geller- they are FANTASTIC. this one is in my upcoming May favorites

This is super helpful!! Is it OK to self tan while nursing?! I miss using self tanners but read that the DHA is not safe when nursing (like retinol). I have a 6 month old too :)
Safe to fake tan while nursing just avoid your breasts, or pump, tan, and wash off before nursing again. :)))
Kristina Braly awesome! Going to pick up the St. Tropez mousse - no indicator and smells good sounds perfect. Thanks Kristina!
I would put my breast pad on and tan around them that way I knew my baby wouldn’t get the tanner on their face ( that happened once.. lesson learned)😂
Another Cartier bracelet??? Please do a review!!!
Do you tan your face?
Can you self tan while pregnant???
Just discovered you! Love your vibe!
I hustled my ghostly pale body over to my laptop to watch this much needed video lol
😂😂😂
i’m so pale 😂😂❤️
_박 지수 me too sis
You're asian, you're definitely not a pale
So i wanztest to say that you should use a fake tan using erythrulose instead of DHA. :)
I have a line on my neck from when i used to be fat. when I put self tan on it, it gets darker. i dunno wut to do. should i put lotion over the dark area like I do my elbows and knees ? I need to tan my neck , otherwise i will look like a circumcised 2 toned penis .
