Wow it is so expensive and I need to apply two nights in a row? Not only that sucks because who wants to apply self tan so often, but the bottle is small and its gonna last two weeks.. I will stick with my sosu dripping gold ultra dark , bali body and st tropez extra dark.
Fake Bake Flawless Darker gives a gorgeous reddish, deep bronze. It's the most red toned dark tanner I've ever seen or used, now next to SOSU but close. Only difference is it's a spray and doesn't last past 3 days when used by itself. It needs to be mixed. For years I've kept a bottle on hand to layer with and deepen other tanners. It's my secret tool for manipulating a tanner that isnt dark enough but has other good qualities like even application or longevity. It gives the most beautiful, natural reddish toned dark tan and lasts much longer when applied as a second layer over a mousse product. Before discovering SOSU St Tropez original mousse was my first grab for that initial layer tan ( it's very olive but so am I naturally without a tan so on its own St Tropez doesn't work as a self tanner for me. It only serves to amplify the olive tones in my skin, which is good if I'm looking for a month old tan look, but when I lay out and am exposed to a lot of summer sun I turn reddish orange deep bronze with hints of natural olive coming through so I need something that can do both). To deepen and redden things up I would apply a layer of Fake Bake Darker over top. Recently found SOSU and I'm happy to say it does all this with one application! It's even slightly darker than FBFD and longer lasting than my combo! I just wish these companies would sell 16 or 32 oz bottles! There is no size too big for a regular self tanner. These little 5 oz bottles are like trial size.

I used tan af with the glove and left it on for a little over an hour. Took it off and over night got a little darker and been swimming with it several times as wel as showered and hasnt come off. If u want a darker glow I recommend not double apply cuz it just gets dirty looking, but do what i did and did it the next day or after ur first applications shower! But ive worn this for a week now and its still going strong

Hey Christine, thank you so much for this video. It’s hard to sift through all of the self tanners available. If you ever have a rough time getting self tan off your palms use toothpaste, trust me it works. I would like to see a company come out with a self tan that has maybe a slightly red tone because when you’re a bit red it’s believable that you’ve been in the sun. Not burnt just a slight hint. I would love to see someone come out with a totally waterproof self tan. Anyways thank you for this it helps, I can’t wait to try your suggestion I love the idea that when you shower the color doesn’t change🥰💕

Loving tan two hour express I’m dark is what I use a day or two after my tan to keep up and to add some color because loving tan ultra dark the regular one you wear all night is amazing and you do get really dark!

My fav self tanner as well! NOTHING compares to SOSU. And I truly feel like the undertone is flattering for any skin tone. I am VERY pale and use the ultra dark (I've tried the dark and it isn't much different I found). And I have tried every self tanner on the market I think lol.

I thought Loving Tan (NOT the 2 hour product) was going to become my HG self tanner! Unfortunately I have had to accept that as a more mature woman with dry skin, Loving Tan dries my skin out even more. I even apply a rich cream ONE hour prior to self tanning. I still have to apply a rich cream at least twice a day. I came across another YT’er who mentioned this point and she was a much younger woman with dry skin. There have been several self tanners that have either disappointed me or I’ve had a reaction to. I’ve decided to combine two different self tanners, Loving Tan and Bondi Sands, as Bondi Sands is more moisturizing. I thought this was a great idea! I learned about using a fluffy make up brush to apply tanner to feet and hands, fantastic tip! In addition, I recently learned an additional application step. In addition to stroking into skin and applying in circular motions..........also “pat” into legs and arms. If anyone uses several facial treatments such as toner, serums or essences, there is a purpose for patting the skin. It brings blood to the surface of the skin and enables skin to absorb product. Pretty fascinating and I don’t know why I never thought of it? I looked into the Dripping Gold, but the price tag was a big much for me. It is $64 on Amazon. I don’t know if it’s a larger bottle or what? Dripping Gold is $25 on the website Pretty Little Thing, but they are located in the UK. I will have to research a seller in the U.S. I have heard it described as a “red” type tanner as well. Thank you for your comparison of self tanners! It was very helpful. Blessings to you!

Hi, I'm a guy that started self tanning last year using St Moriz. As you said..I hate seeing half the tan wash off after the first shower, so hope you're right about the Sosu. Can you get at least a week before it starts to fade?
Yes! Its the worst seeing it all wash off & with the dripping gold I barely see anything wash off. Out of all the tans I've tried the Dripping Gold is the longest lasting (about a week) and fades so flawlessly! Good luck!

Well this holy grail self tanner turned out to be $40 in total ALONE, $20 shipping, and that’s without the $10 face tanner that adds, and mitt which puts it at almost $60 🤦🏻♀️😂😂 starting to seem a whole lot more expensive than I was lead to believe, wasn’t expecting the shipping to be almost as much as the product 👀 think I’m gunna have to keep looking
Hey girl! The way I look at it is if I were to go get an actual spray tan, its that cost for just 1! The bottles last a long time.
I used to use a spray to do my back till I got the loving tan back applicator
I got that as well, but mines so light it is hard to keep on my back! Maybe I need to try again, haha! 💜

So sorry- I totally bypassed it. That one is more of an everyday lotion, but to me it has a strong smell like very "self tanner circa 2000 smell" There are better products out there in my opinion! I hope this helps! XO
I am a brown girl with very uneven skintones i ws planning to try self tanning products to cover up the impections on my legs. The tan luxe drops looks very practical and non messy. Have u tried that?
I have tried them for my face. They might be a good start, but personally I would recommend a mousse. The application seems like a "thicker" layer if that makes sense! 💜

Was going to buy amber scholls tanning lotion but somehow fell on your video and now I think you e changed my mind. I do have a few questions.....did you have to put lotion on your elbows,ankles and fingers before applying? Did you apply with just your hands or did you use a mitt and did you have to wash your hands literally right after you applied? Thanks!
Hi love! I could make a video of how I apply it, but yes I do put lotion on my dry areas & I actually put lotion on my feet once before I tan my body & then again right before I tan my feet! I ALWAYS use a mitt (I use the @Bondisands one) & you don't have to wash your hands right after you apply bc of the mitt, but maybe a couple hours after you apply to make the hand tan a bit less harsh! I highly recommend this tan & have tried sooo many! I hope this is helpful! XOXOXO 💕💕💕
I'm looking for the a deep dark ta and the dripping gold is kinda hard to get through shipping. What does anyone suggest? I one people who like super dark I dance. I love Dripping Gold Tan!! I started with the ultra dark shade and it LOVED it but actually just tried the medium shade and really like the more olive undertone to it-a but more flattering on my skin! The formula though is just the best. So hydrating, fades BEAUTIFULLY, just amazing. Hate the shipping cost when ordering from the website though

The way I look at it is that if I went to a salon to get a spray its $45+ for one spray and the bottle I can get a lot more tans out of that! 💕💕

I find that it is the longest lasting and wears off so natural! I applied mine last Thursday and it still looks amazing! 💕

So sorry didn't realize that! Its definitely a gradual tanner with a self tan smell to it. It's not my favorite! 💕
The first one by st Tropez gradual tan in shower is not applied at how u said to do it...the correct way is u shower and when ur done before u dry off u apply the lotion while ur wet before u dry of with the tan..it will take u about 2-3 mins to put it on then wash ur hands and then towel dry barely damping..it's just an in between touch up is what it's used for

@@ChristineCartwright yeah I definitely want to get it..I love the st Tropez I used the mitten with disposal gloves under and I used a huge powder brush by elf to apply on my face,around my ankles,feet,hands, knees and elbows..it did take awhile to dry but the bad smell was definitely not there..I used some Victoria secret lotion to go back and blend out some cakey spots..I slept on it for about 10 hours and woke up and showered and it did uh-mazing

I noticed Sun Goddess and Million Dollar tan were not included. I know there are tons obviously missing and you can’t do them all but those two have been crazy popular as well some of the ones you have here I never heard of so that’s cool I love learning about others. So would you plan on trying the two I mentioned? Or you done lol.
If possible I’d love you to try sun goddess and million dollar tan out a couple times and let us know how it went. I used them both 4 years ago and I’m sure they have changed for the better but I haven’t heard anyone talking about them as much the past year.

I tried SoSu and I wanted to love it but I felt like it left a bad smell on me for the next couple of days. I sleep in my self tanner as well and I shower it off the next morning but I felt like I smelled awful....maybe it's just how it reacts with my skin I don't know but I will say I've never had a self tanner smell good on me either so maybe it is just me 😅🤷 I also had a hard time getting it to come off and it did not fade evenly on me and I exfoliate before I apply self tanners as well. The best I've tried is fake bake so far I've always gotten a pretty color and nice fade off and it's always lasted me about a week....but it doesn't smell great on me either. I wish I could find one that did not make me smell like fake tan 😂
Oh wow, really?!! This is the only one I have found that doesn't have a terrible smell & fades so nicely. Do you put lotion on everyday? That helps it fade nicely. I will have to try Fake Bake! 💕

Yes. I have been in the pool with dripping gold and as long as you pat dry, shower after, and apply lotion is is perfect! 💕

Hi Dawn! I meant that usually when I wash off a tan in the morning after letting it "set" overnight, I feel as though every other tan all washes off right away & I'm left with not a dark tan except for that one. When I say it comes off easily I mean when it's a few days old and I'm scrubbing it off, then it comes off easily (some tans are really hard to scrub off) I hope this helps! I do go in the pool with self tanner! Just make sure to pat dry and reapply lotion after you are in the water & after you shower!

I only use Loving Tan. I usually get the 2 hour express, apply it at night and sleep in it. (Only keeping it on for two hours won’t do anything)

Some of these are good but the wear off is horrible leaves you with patches like the St. Moriz and St. Tropez.
Try the Dripping Gold! That's one main reason I love because of the wear off. It's soo natural! 💜

My absolute favorite and easiest to apply is loreal tanning wipes. I use gloves. Easy peasy! And it actually lasts a while. I usually only have to use it 1 to 2 x a week and that's taking a shower every day. But I do have to apply lotion every day because it dries my skin. But very nice tan.
I put it on after I shower.

Fake bake is the best

I have to say I've tried both Fake Bake and Loving tan and I wanted to love the loving tan and I do like it but Fake Bake is where you get that natural color. Loving tan has the green undertones where a natural tan has the reds or warms.
San Tropee (the an in St is pronounced on & the a sound in Tropez is a long a like toupee)
In French...St. Tropez is pronounced san tropay.

Yes, I have eczema & I use the medium tan mousse, which is a beautiful golden bronze. However, I used Sunkissed self tan, £2.99 in the UK, & imo it's better. Again in the medium mousse, it's beautiful! There's a lot within both Sunkissed brand & St Moritz, both comparable to St Tropez. Hope this helps😀
