I use the crimper on my daughter for the perfect "mermaid" hair. When I do it the waves they stay beautiful for 2 days so I don't wash her hair quite as much. I love the look on her

You can slow down video speed. I do it on almost every hair tutorial but didn't have to for this one.

@@JessHallock I agree, Jess, you do! Silly question but it's one that I struggle with...do you blowdry and/or straighten your hair before you curl? I feel like I need to otherwise my hair gets too frizzy and can't be calmed down with a curling iron alone.
This is the first RUclips video I've ever followed along to to do my hair. This is the best video, love that it's real time, you explain things so well. And I'm not one to post or comment on RUclips so for me this says something. Love how my hair turned out. I have long super thick coarse hair and I have 2/3 of the back of my head/ neck shaved and i get it thinned regularly lol! This makes.mybhair look amazing!!!

Girl, this technique has been a GAME CHANGER! I curl my clip-ins once a week and curl the rest of my hair using the waver and my curling wand, and it has made doing my hair in the morning so fast and easy! I’ll never go back to doing everything one curl at a time early in the morning before work.
Ahhh yes! I didn’t even think about clip ins! That is such a game changer!
Oh I just remembered, my friend tried the twisting technique and we noticed on her hair it looked better if we crimped it like you did on your video, then with that same wave we twist it and put it in the crimper again, and it made her hair look really nice too! It’s double the work but she wanted more definition and this did the trick.

I love the bed head waver! I got mine a few years ago and it heats up so quickly and is the only tool that my hair will hold a wave for days with no touch up! And i got this on amazon for about $15. Cant beat that!

Back in the early 2000s, I did this style with a single barrel curling iron. Lmao. It took me a long time, but everyone wanted to do their hair like mine. I need to get this bed head waver!
I did the same thing to my hair last weekend with a regular curling iron. It took foreverrrrrr. I definitely need this waver instead

So I won an essay contest for my school and I won 50$ from it. I decided to get this crimper because I love the look of hair after you take it out of braids but idk how to braid lmao. I realized once I bought it i have absolutely no idea how to crimp hair. I watched several other tutorials but as a person who has no clue about hair, I didn’t understand what they were talking about. Now that I watched your tutorial, I completely understand how to crimp! Omg. I have to say that I tried curling my hair like this. It was a lil tricky at first but once I got the hang of it piece of cake. Lol. I'm going to buy the 3 barrel curler but for now I just did my whole head with the curling iron. It looked soooooo cute. I didnt think it would. I have a lil longer hair then you and it still looked so cute. This will def be my new go to hair style. Cant wait to try it with the waver.

I did it during my babies’ nap time today. Feeling so good! I usually can’t curl my hair because it takes sooooo long and my hair is so thick. This worked so well for me. I also bought texturizing spray and I don’t think I’ll ever hairspray for curls again!! Thank you so much!!

Tried your suggested techniques and bought the bedhead waye maker but used my flat iron instead of a curling iron. I swear it took no more then 10 minutes to get salon hair. Love it. And I used Big and Sexy hair dry shampoo instead of hair spray because I love in fl

Can't be that easy😳...will be getting me a bed head to try this. Love how U don't wash Ur hair everyday, I have black thick hair so 2nd, 3rd day hair shows Up quick but 4days ppl would be running from me. Even though oil is good for the scalp, so dry shampoo is something I need to get into.

Have you tried dry shampoo? It's definitely a game changer girl ! I could get by 3 days definitely.
Also my hair is bleached so that makes it porous and it is on the dryer side and that helps. Your hair just might be too healthy and does not absorb any of the oils.
I used to her super oily when I would not wash my hair. The more I would just say screw it and still not wash it. This stopped happening to quickly. So the less you wash the less oil the scalp produces. Push through that 4ths day. It will subside. Then less oil permanent or unroll you start washing every day or other day again

So I know this waa posted a bit ago and I have never desired to have beach curls since I already have natural curly hair. But, recently I have come to really like my hair curled and just the regular under curl was just old school... Lol. So after this mess of being quarantine and an essential worker not missing one day of work I called my hairstylist for a cut and color. Now I longed for some kind of beach wave or something cute that I could do. I bought a wand and that just doesn't work for me and my curla drop so quickly and then I stumbled upon your video. AWESOME, AWESOME and sooooo easy for someone who is so hairstyle illiterate 😂😂😂 thank you. Love it and I now can feel like I kinda know what I'm doing with this hair.

Also, in case you see this comment, could you maybe give me some pointers or let me know how you keep your blond hair so healthy looking/ no breakage, and what daily products you use? Like a leave-in conditioner, or heat protectant product?
Hey! I’m excited that you want to try it out! I don’t wash my hair everyday and I always put some sort of oil on my hair and I rotate my shampoos and conditioners! :) I would also recommend not putting heat on your hair everyday.
