Hi!! I HAVE to take the time to thank you for this video. I love the look of curled hair and could never do it. I just watched your video and curled my hair in 10 min and looks amazing. Forever thankful for this video lol❤️
Thank you! Been wondering why all videos start curing partway down and then adjust and now I know!! Makes so much sense but I never would have realized.
I love that you use unite products! It’s been my favorite hair brand since 2012!! I rarely find a youtuber that talks about it, how I know I can trust your recommendations lol 😂
I love this tutorial thank you I’m going to try it today!! Your hair is so beautiful ☺️ congratulations on your salon opening can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos 😁
Oh, Yay! I am in Phoenix! I love your channel! I just found it today. I would love to see a video of your hair a couple days old and what you do with it! That would be pretty fun. Thanks for awesome content! :)
This has been the most educational Hair tutorial I have seen. This really worked! I got complements on my hair after following your instructions! Thank you!
You’re so generous with your knowledge! Thank you so much. My hair is a couple of inches below my shoulders but it’s the longest it’s ever been in my life so I’m in a learning phase and you just helped me. 💜👍🏼
Just purchased the dry shampoo, alligator clips, and epic wet brush you recommended!! I was able to order the exact curling iron on bed bath and beyond using a coupon and ended up paying $31 with shipping!! Cannot wait to receive my products and try this out! Your hair is stunning!
BEST. TUTORIAL. EVER. Holy crap ?#!!! I've seen many curling videos and they've always said curl away bla bla bla. Great, thanks. Explaining about the clamp=life changing!!!! Ok so do I curl my hair? No. Do I want to curl my hair? Absolutely 😂 Will I try? Maybe after this tutorial 😂🙏🙏🙏❤
Great & very informative video, please keep the videos coming. Any suggestions on how to keep double crown in back of hair from parting, nothing I ever try works. Happy new year !
Great tutorial….. got a lot of good tips. I am always torn about putting heat on my hair. I have gray hair…salt and pepper…and I dont want to ruin the texture of it.
Omg thank you for this video. I struggle with curls so I just keep my hair straight lol. Definitely going to buy the products you suggest and give it a try.
Jess Hallock I curled my hair last night and it finally looked Instagram worthy because your tips! I what type of hairspray do you recommend to keep curls? I used Kendra texture spray and Kendra firm hold hairspray and my curls still fell 🤦🏽♀️
Hey I’m in Az too!! Your tips were super helpful I just started actually being a girl and doing girl things like learning how to properly curl my hair and it was great video to watch!
Hello! New subscriber here and fellow stylist. 👋🏼 I would love to see your balayage/foil/coloring techniques/cutting techniques (especially for extensions blending) 😏. Also, makeup looks and ootd. Thanks! So excited to have found your channel!
Yay! I love that you are a stylist! I definitely want to start doing videos geared toward professionals hopefully once a week! That is such a compliment! Thank you!
Love your tutorials! Super easy to follow and I appreciate you showing us how to use these techniques in real time! Would love to see either a video on getting volume for thin hair (which I think you kind of already did haha) or a video on hair care/styling tips (taking care of split ends, heat protectant products, etc ). Thanks for what you do!
Thank you! I love al the suggestions :) I definitely will do a video on that! Here is a blog I did on haircare essentials too! jesshallock.com/sample-post-title-would-go-right-here-copy-28/
I’m new to your channel and Instagram so I’m not sure if this has been covered before but I would love to see cute easy looks for daughters! I have a 3 year old that doesn’t let me get near her hair for too long. I’m awful at braids and have never attempted them on her either. But anything besides a ponytail would be a step up for styling her hair lol. Also you are very beautiful 😁 and your video with the bed head waver pushed me to buy one for myself and I absolutely love it!! ♥️♥️♥️ can’t wait to see more of your videos!
I have a daughter and we totally should do videos for little girl styles! Thank you for the feedback on my three barrel video! I’m glad you love it! ❤️
So awesome! My hair never holds curl! I want to order everything u used 🤑🤦♀️ I wish I found u before I ordered my tyme iron... u seriously make it look so easy! 💕
I've been watching your videos the past 4 days and have loved them ALL! SOOOO EASY to understand! Ty! Are your extensions Dreamcatchers?? My niece is a stylist and does my Dreamcatchers! I LOVE them! I JUST took them out like 3 weeks ago to give my real hair a break! Although I love having them and they are so beautiful, they have made my hair so much thinner bc I've worn them for 2-3 years straight (with moving them up and new hair of course). You are beautiful! I hope you keep doing more videos! I'm hooked! 😄
I love it I went looking for this iron today and between Ulta beauty and Sally’s no one had it in the size I ended up buying the brand at target Kristi ess, Looks promising and beautiful it has that Teflon coating we are new bees at doing our hair I’ve always sucked at it and I’m hoping I can help my daughter look beautiful for her pictures this weekend thank you for the tips
Congratulations on opening your own salon!! 🤗 Hope it’s going fantastic! I just LOVE your channel! ❤️ One video I’d like to see is how to do a platinum blond balayage with cool lowlights, please!!
I'm excited I just ordered a babyliss pro curling iron I really hope I can recreate the same look on my hair my hair is long and all natural so will send a pic soon
This was suuuuuper helpful! I just purchased a new curling iron, not this one but still. Anyways I have longer hair and have always used a wand but I wanted to see if this would hold my hair better. You explained it perfectly so thank you!!!! Going to try it soon. Do you have any tips for root boost for someone who lets their hair air dry?
my hair is the same length as yours and I'm letting it grow until it is down to my hips I will be 60 years old in 4 days and so tired of wearing it up and watching your videos make it seem so easy and fast to curl but I would love tighter curls. I was wondering if you knew a product that I could use on my hair that would help to get tighter curls, that would last all day? I bought my 15-year-old granddaughter the Conair ceramic 1/2 with 30 different heating settings on it and tried it but couldn't get my hair to do anything, so I'm going to try the way you showed in this video, I'll back to let you know how it turns out, thank you, young lady, you are a very beautiful young lady with a sweet spirit
More videos on thick hair styling! I have crazy dense hair with some super fine hair mixed with very thick pieces of hair. It’s naturally pretty straight, but whenever I try to curl it, it takes 10 years and normally ends up looking like an Afro because there is just too much of it.
Can you do a video of extensions on shoulder length hair?! I want to get mine done but I’m not sure if I’ll like the results.... your hair is beautiful!
Your hair is beautiful!! I would love to see what you recommend for dark hair ( lowlights or highlights) and would love to a video. Also what do you recommend for slightly thinning hair around hairline , sides, and crown. Clip ins - halo? Nothing!! Ima new subscriber- love your video!
Yes i love the video ideas so thank you! As far as thinning I would suggest taking a hair skin and nails supplement and iron! Losing hair in the crown and along the hairline is a hormone reaction! As far as extensions go I suggest a halo for sure because there is zero tension on your hair :)
Ok, so day 2 trying the babyliss curling iron and my curls are still falling right out. I just ordered the hair products to try along with it, so hopefully that helps. It’s so frustrating dealing with virgin hair that doesn’t want to hold a curl. I’ve used a straightener to curl for the longest time bc it’s been the best thing to help it hold a little longer, but I’m trying to stay away from the straightener since it’s not as healthy. 😩
@@JessHallock I have very oily and heavy natural hair. Using the dry shampoo has extended my curling/waved styles to 4 days. Since I recently started coloring my hair pink, the dry shampoo is even better because washing my hair less also makes my color last longer. You are amazing!
I find it so much easier to part my hair and do the left side first then the right I noticed everyone on RUclips sections their hair the same lol..im.confused was the first products you mentioned a heat protectant???
Love this tutorial! You explained everything so well. Quick question, what heat setting on this curling iron would you recommend for processed human hair pieces? I want the curls to hold but the least amount of damage. Thank you 🖤
Thank you! Well it just depends on how quickly you can move through the hair?? If you can move pretty quick then i keep it on the highest setting :) if you pause a lot then go 2-3 notches down :)
I used to have super shiny hair and it used to feel like corn silk. I use mayonnaise as a deep conditioner and olive oil too. Ive used so many hair products and keep going back to these two. Ojon used to have an amazing line but no longer around.😞 I have long brown hair w/ natural red high lights. Any advice?!
I love this look! Whenever I straighten or curl my hair and try to not wash it for 3+ days my ends get so dry and it almost seems like my split ends are more visible, is there any thing you can put on the ends to make them soft?! 🙏🏻
I have thin straight hair that’s medium length. By the time I was done curling my hair was already flat.... not sure if the 1.25 barrel is just too big? I used Living Proof dry shampoo and body builder for texture and it’s so flat immediately after. I’d like to message a picture of immediate after effect for advice but I’m not sure how to.
So you don’t use hair spray to set the finished look? Only the texture spray by unite? I would love to see a how to on keeping your hair icy blonde? I’ve tried a 100 purple shampoos and none have worked well.
Hello! I know you mention you have itips. What brand extensions do you use and which name is your color? My blonde is exactly your shade so I’d love to use your extension color. I am babe certified btw. 😊
When I run my lightly fingers through my hair or brush it out lightly, it gets real messy with almost a little frizz to it. What am I doing wrong? I let it cool for probably 5 minutes. Is that enough?
You have such a good vibe to you, you’re my new favorite hair channel! 😍😍
Best tutorial ever. I can now finally use this curling wand properly. Thank you soooooo much
Hi!! I HAVE to take the time to thank you for this video. I love the look of curled hair and could never do it. I just watched your video and curled my hair in 10 min and looks amazing. Forever thankful for this video lol❤️
Your hair tutorials are the easiest to learn by far! You are a great teacher!
Thank you! Been wondering why all videos start curing partway down and then adjust and now I know!! Makes so much sense but I never would have realized.
thank you for all the detail you put into this tutorial! so informative!!
Stunning!!! Listen to u all day. Love how real u are at not like other rehursed anoying you tubers!! Thank you 😍
I love that you use unite products! It’s been my favorite hair brand since 2012!! I rarely find a youtuber that talks about it, how I know I can trust your recommendations lol 😂
That was a huge compliment! I LOVE Unite!! More UNITE product tutorials to come :) which products are your favorite?
I love this tutorial thank you I’m going to try it today!! Your hair is so beautiful ☺️ congratulations on your salon opening can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos 😁

Absolutely brilliant tutorial ❤
I was struggling on my left side...seems so easy but I haven't curled my hair for 10 years. Thank you for the tips! 4:00 and 6:40

Oh yay I’m so excited for you!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 that is a way good deal in the iron!
I purchased the same curling iron based on your reviews and it's a game changer!! Best iron ever.
It’s the best right?? So glad you love it! 😊
Please do a product video for Fine hair girls that want volume on top!!
Oh yes that would be a good one!
thank you very much - I did my fine straight hair as you demonstrated with the curling iron and it worked perfectly!!!
Oh that is the best!! Thank you for sharing!
Such beautiful hair!

Your hair is GOALS! 😍
Aw thank you! 🤗

Oh I hope this helps!! Let me know how it goes!
I have that exact brush- love it! I got it at Ulta!
It is my absolute FAVORITE!!

You should do some simply everyday makeup tutorials!
I will be doing that soon!
Can you do a video of extensions on shoulder length hair?! I want to get mine done but I’m not sure if I’ll like the results.... your hair is beautiful!
Go to the video called curls for humidity! I did these curls on my shorter hair too!
Awesome
Thank you! Loved this!
Could you please provide the link for this tutorial but short to medium hair?
THANK YOU! 💕

“i’m just gona walk through target.” 😂
If you lived in California I would be your client in a second. Love your videos.
Aw thank you! I wish I could do hair in Cali!
You are so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your talents with us! ❤💋
Oh wow thank you!! 🙌🏻
Do you have any tips for wedding hair?
Will you do a video on a balayage because I want to get it don’t but I want it done right I am not in Arizona so I can’t go to you
Jess i don’t know why but my bottom layer of hair at the nape doesn’t hold a curl and i can’t figure out why!
I find it so much easier to part my hair and do the left side first then the right I noticed everyone on RUclips sections their hair the same lol..im.confused was the first products you mentioned a heat protectant???
The video is mirrored! :) I always suggest a oil as a long term heat protectant but I used Aquage as the the first product in the video
What are your thoughts about bio ionic graphene mx curling iron?
Are you able to do this with a round brush and Blowdryer Jess, would love see it.
I’ll be honest it doesn’t look the same with the round brush and blow dryer :/ you can really only do this with an iron!
What heat setting do you have it on? Love it!!!
Thank you!! I have it on the highest because I can move pretty quick through it!
Great video. Which was the clear dry shampoo you use.
That is the Unite Texturiza :)
Can't find equage dry shampoo to order. Where can I find it. Amazon not showing.
Stylist here! Thanks for the tutorial. Is that your natural with highlights? It’s a beautiful base color
Hey! Yes it is :)
What is the difference between the two dry shampoos linked?
plz mam can you make another video of this but with some tight curls
I never can get this curling iron to give me curls even on the highest setting! I don’t have super thick or fine hair either 😖
Hmm are you prepping your hair with a dry shampoo or texture spray before or after you curl?
I used to have super shiny hair and it used to feel like corn silk. I use mayonnaise as a deep conditioner and olive oil too. Ive used so many hair products and keep going back to these two. Ojon used to have an amazing line but no longer around.😞 I have long brown hair w/ natural red high lights. Any advice?!
I would invest in a good hair oil and Mask! Unite makes great products and so does Joico, Kevin Murphy...
Love you hair 😍 what brand do you use?? Are the beaded? They're beautiful!!!
Thank you! They are itips! And the brand is DreamCatcher!
@@JessHallock thank you ❤
What are good products to use if you originally have curly frizzy hair and want to get these awesome curls!
Unite has a line for curls!
How do you make it last for 3 days? How do you wear your hair to sleep so it isn’t messed up the next day?
I love this look! Whenever I straighten or curl my hair and try to not wash it for 3+ days my ends get so dry and it almost seems like my split ends are more visible, is there any thing you can put on the ends to make them soft?! 🙏🏻
Yes! Use a super light weight oil in your hands and run your fingers on your ends to give them hydration! They are just thirsty :)
Jess Hallock thank you so much!
Formal hairstyles please
I have thin straight hair that’s medium length. By the time I was done curling my hair was already flat.... not sure if the 1.25 barrel is just too big? I used Living Proof dry shampoo and body builder for texture and it’s so flat immediately after. I’d like to message a picture of immediate after effect for advice but I’m not sure how to.
Oh and it was the same curling iron too.
Can you show you doing this on shorter hair?
I did a video called Voluminous Curls where it was on shorter hair! :)
❤️❤️❤️
So you don’t use hair spray to set the finished look? Only the texture spray by unite? I would love to see a how to on keeping your hair icy blonde? I’ve tried a 100 purple shampoos and none have worked well.
Yes I don’t love hairspray! Crazy I know :/ it’s just so hot and humid that hairspray seems to get heavy?
Purple shampoo I LOVE is BLONDA from Unite!!
This curling iron is made out of titanium, so do you feel like it damages hair more than a ceramic curler does? I was thinking of buying this
It has a ceramic coating! As long as you are using the adjustable heat then I think it is totally safe :)
Is there a way to loosen the clamp when you get a new one? Or should I just use it more often?
Yes you can loosen the screws a little bit!
Hello! I know you mention you have itips. What brand extensions do you use and which name is your color? My blonde is exactly your shade so I’d love to use your extension color. I am babe certified btw. 😊
I always order “ash blonde” but mine are personally DreamCatcher!
When I run my lightly fingers through my hair or brush it out lightly, it gets real messy with almost a little frizz to it. What am I doing wrong? I let it cool for probably 5 minutes. Is that enough?
I would try applying a light weight oil when you run your fingers through your hair to prevent the frizz! :)
I love your sweater! Where did you get it?
It is from dottiecoutureboutique.com !
Thank you!
