Welcome to another one of my day in the life vlog. I'm a software engineer at Meta/Facebook and I decided to check out the tallest Meta office on one of the days of my recent trip to New York City. This is not a typical work day for me and this video has a bit more lifestyle mixed in compared to my first work vlog video.

Bro I know that a lot of youtubers say it's awkward to record videos of food and them eating, but for me personally it's quite cool to see what you're eating and that you're eating in general. I'm probably just a bit weird, but yea the shots of you eating weren't too long or too short. Love the video man!

It's a Citizen Grand Classic that I got from Macy's a long time ago. I don't think they make this specific model anymore 🥲

I'm not sure if I'll do an office tour video specifically but if I make more in office work vlogs I'll try to show some different parts of the office. It can be difficult because I try to avoid people and other potentially sensitive things.

Where do you get your backpack from?
I got that one as a new hire from when I worked at Amazon. It's not very nice lol I only brought it to travel because I don't mind if it gets beat up.

5:27 - I’d rather see more of the food options, not just what you selected and ate. Maybe pause over the food counter item labels so we can see? It’s basically food porn lol. Sometimes RUclips videos move too quickly and you can’t actually see or read what is there which is frustrating. Many thanks 😊

How do you feel about Meta firing 11,000 staff members?
Layoffs are not ideal for employees and I hope that anyone who does get laid off is able to find employment quickly.

It’s about whether this was a boom and bust situation, whether tech companies expanded too far too fast, and were managed well. Lots of articles being written on just that. The question has depth, but people need to pause to consider it.
@@eastcoast4233 then you should've started with that. Layoffs in this particular situation is obvs a negative view. You should've asked that question with depth pointers. Not just how do you feel lol
