Nick is so cute with all of his little smiles at the camera while you’re vlogging 😂 also an American living in ADL, it’s so fun to watch you explore the US and hear your observations
You and Nick are SO my husband and I haha on holidays he has no clue what’s going on he’s just there to bring the vibes hahaha long live king Nicholas 👑 also 2 vids in 2 days I’m thriving
I live in NyC and it’s so fun to see people enjoying the things that I’ve probably slowly started to take for granted in the nearly 9 years I’ve lived here. The Strand especially made me smile as early in my relationship with my now husband we would go there and just explore all the books (and find relatively uncrowded parts of the store and sneak some kisses ❤️).
We were in NYC for most of January (although we’re only just posting our vlogs now 😅) but it’s crazy seeing the difference in season! The High Line garden was entirely brown when we were there 🍂 So glad you had a good time! New York is so special to us, so we love seeing other people love it 🥰
You’re taking me back to 2013! My husband & I were in Boston & New York (he had training for work just outside Boston). We LOVED both cities. We also caught the train from Boston and walked to our accommodation in Times Square. The first thing we did when we arrived at 11pm was have a hot dog on a street corner. We did the tourist things and my bucket list was to jog through Central Park and have a cosmopolitan cocktail for the “girls”. We crammed so much into 48hrs and we’re yet to go back. USA will have to wait - we’re off to Spain in July. I’ve loved watching your adventures 😊 cheers from a fellow Aussie xx
This was the best vlog! There’s so much to do in NYC! About the bridges, the one you walked across was the Brooklyn Bridge (the stone/ brick one), and the one you can see from Dumbo is the Manhattan Bridge. Dumbo actually stands for ‘Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass’ 😂
Omg the first bagel eating clip 😂 it really captures going away with your partner and spending every moment together and having nothing new to talk about hahaha
I booked to go to JFK last night for August, we are spending a few days in New York and then travelling the State and driving to Montreal 🎉 for a few weeks. We love to come America each year but we bavent been to New York since 2017 so i cant wait! Thanks for the vlog
It has been so much fun to follow you along for your trip. Spring feels like an amazing time to see NYC. I’ve never been there and everything looks so stunning. Central Park with the flowers blooming had me in raptures! I especially love seeing all the cool food you tried and hearing your impressions. The Crumble Cookies and flavoured pancakes 😍 Did you buy a book? The signed books were calling my name!
So much fun so sad the fog ruined your sunrise that was a bummer fingers crossed that you had clear skies for the San Francisco bridge I think you chose a good month to visit New York though not to hot and stinky perfect weather for touring
@@smileycitrus YAY so pleased for you that is on my bucket list my friend went almost 10 years back and it was foggy and raining and they were meant to cycle across it I felt so bad for them they travelled so far lol so I'm glad you got good weather for it :)
As an American who has visited the 9/11 memorial many times, I don’t think it’s weird to say you’ve always wanted to go. It’s a beautiful memorial and the event greatly shaped a lot of American and global recent history.
I’m a total foodie and that pizza looked elite, but Leon’s bagel looked like it came from McDonald’s lol! Of the 4 US cities you visited, which had the best food IYO? I also like on the go food rather than a proper sit down! So much more fun!!!! Thanks for sharing so much
I love this video so much❤ BTW this is the first time I’m watching your video and kinda addicted now. Wanna watch many more contents from u guys good luck and best wishes from Sri Lanka 🎉❤ thankyouu for this beautiful content of New York. It’s one of my favorite places to visit❤❤
Thanks for sharing your experience . I will like to do a solo trip this year. How was getting around on public transport? Was it confusing and difficult?
Hello Ela and Nick, my wife and I are travelling to NY next week. I came back here to rewatch this video. Thank you. Can you advise if we should pre purchase tix for the 9/11 memorial and top of the rock? how did you guys go about it? thanks
Hi! I definitely would! the lines to buy tickets were super long so it will save you lots of time. We booked our tickets through Viator and they were great!

You two eating the bagel when waking up early sums up my relationship too. No awkward silences just eating hahah

You’ll find cherry coke in the international section of Woolies and most Lolly shops. It my cheeky treat lately 😅
