- Pc performance problems for Star wars Jedi survivor have been disappointing to say the least. Well it's EA, so it's kind of expected actually. Here I have a bit of a solution that might make your performance not as stutter-y.

The game is so poorly named in documents hierarchy that geforce experience can't find it either lol
Ok I don't know what corner of RUclips did you crawl from, and how I got this vid randomly proposed - but this works ! No immediate magic fix, still won't go above 30 FPS in general, but the smoothness appeared in fact ! No stutters, no spikes, no screen freezes. I didn't believe this is possible ! Crashed for days after the last patch from May 10th and was already giving up on progressing the story any further - all I gained got reset each time I crashed and went back to last save. Thank you for taking time to record this instruction !
You have actually saved this game for me! Before I was getting constant crashes and random fps drops on low settings, now I have everything high with a stable 60fps, occasional stutter here and there but it's night and day! Thanks!

i can't tell you how much i love you. i have a 2070 max q and an i7 10th gen and my frames were somewhere between 20-40 on lowest settings but with this i'm at 55-70 fps. the game doesn't stutter and is playable thanks man!!!!!!

Jesus, i just love you right now, the game just turned playable for the first time, like, i already got 10 hours on the game, and the last one hour was the best play time i already had on this game! FPS still drop from 60 to 30 randomily, but i can handle some low fps without the sttutering!

You rock! watched tons of videos about Jedi Survivor PC performance and they all talk about the same things and none of them mention these commands. Managed to get the game to run at solid 60FPS with this. Left my sub and like. Many thanks!
I have a 4090 and can run the game above 60fps without RT but that's not the problem. The stutters are still there even with this "fix". 7800x3d, 32gb 6000 CL30, 4tb 980 Pro NVME. Still have stutters. Its just how Respawn optmized the game using Unreal Engine 5.
@@Unicornpirate Hello! there is a new fix for the stutters really worked for me, you need to increase the windows page file to 20GB MAX AND MIN. Give it a try and let me know
@@3llipsis I do not know how I can thank you. This actually fixed the immense amount of stuttering I was facing in Koboh, it is still there but now its negligible. I had tried every possible solution but nothing worked except for this. I'm getting 85 -110 fps running on EPIC DLSS(Quality)/FG/Raytracing. My system specs are Zotac 4070 super Trinity, 7800x3d, XPG Lancer 32b DDR5 6000, Barracuda Q5 SSD 1TB NVME.

For me, the weird thing is that at launch, this game actually ran pretty well for me on high settings. Epic, a little less so but still playable. It was only after the updates that that I started having performance issues. So bizarre and frustrating.
So far this helped alot, didnt fix it 100% but at least I can finish some areas on low settings.
It helps well a little.. not as bad but the second world especially the town area has major issues but it does help so thank you
OMG, this actually worked. I gained about 10 fps at the stables outside of the saloon and after upping the game to epic quality, I gained a few more fps lol. Don't know what this trick did but it looks like it also forces v sync to be on so it also reduced my screen tearing. My game runs so freaking smooth now. Holy cow dude. I'm so freaking happy right now. Why can't the devs just do this?
I am getting 58 fps on epic quality with medium shadows at the stables with an rtx 3080 and a ryuzen 7 3700x and 32 gigs of ram. I've noticed that my ram usage has shot up to 20 gigs after applying this fix though.
holy fucking shit, i love u so much, i didnt have any problems early game, but late game i kept getting stutters, and i finally got tired of it, i loaded it back up after this, and i could actually turn my camera without lag, u nsaved me 50 dollars dude, thank you

Oh man, thanks a lot. I love the franchise but when i started to play this game i got so sad about the optimization. I was about to give it up and let it go and no play. I dindt have problem with FPS but exactly wiht stuttering, i was gettin nauseated. It was very helpful
If you did it and it even didnt work, try to put de note ONLY to reading. The game wont change de document
for more tips what fixed teh issue for me was the setting AMD fidelityFX super resolution 2 put that to performace and that fixed my issues

honestly not sure if it was this or an update but my fps did increase by like 25% or so. haven't dropped below 60 in epic settings. Really hope this game gets some real performance fixes cause it's a great video game. Any who, thanks man!

Idk, didn't "feel" any difference. Wasn't paying attention to frametime though. Will try to test with frame-time graph. I play at 1080p, so this game is severely CPU bottlenecked at Koboh Pylon Saloon area (my cpu is 5800x). I see maximum of 105 fps (RT off) there with 75-85 fps on average, and my rtx 3080 is just chilling at 40% 😂 Also animation is broken even at locked 60fps with perfect 16.6 ms latency

The game is just poorly optimized.
Put it in performance mode not super performance
go to graphic options, turn everything on low, save go back into the game, go back into the graphical options, turn everything back to your previous settings, save.
It was a temp fix, that you have to do everytime you boot up the game. I don't know if it's fixed with Patch 7.5 tho.
Mannn, so I bought this game twice once on my PC then on my PS5 because I couldn't stand the constant stuttering anymore.
And there's two cons to both ports so my PS5 copy ran SMOOTHER than my PC copy, BUT it was at the cost of much worse fuzzy/blurry Image Quality.
Then the PC port suffers from the best Graphical Fidelity & superior/sharper Image Quality, BUT you get constant STUTTERING, and I have an RTX 4080 and a 5800X3D, my framerate still tanks occasionally.
So it's a double edged sword take your pick, this especially sucks because it is an AMAZINGLY GREAT GAME!!! But it is surrounded by absolutely HORRIBLE Performance Issues. 😮💨🤦♂
Your video is helpful, but at the end of the day, the performance still sucks. It maybe better due to recent patches. But the performance is mainly a problem on Koboh and The Shattered Moon. Not saying Coruscant, Jeddah, Nova Garon and Tanalorr have performance issues, but they’re minor. They just need to update the fuck out of this game to where the game is more playable and looks good for once.

Its too much, try to lower it around 70 deg.

It works for a few but I'm happy to wait until they fix it properly before being pathetic enough to pay them $ for this garbage.
If they never fix it I'll pick it up for console 5-6 years from now.
They aren't going to learn until we stop paying.
It’s a shame man. It runs so fucking horribly. Im running a 4090 laptop (equivalent to a desktop 4070ti) and as fun as the game is, the performance is really bothersome

Seems the only fix available is to limit it to a steady 30-40 fps, and use frame generation from there (either DLSSG or modded FSR 3). At that point you might as well be playing it on a Series S.

just in case you still havent found it after 3 weeks. press windows & r. if it doesnt say "%AppData%" then type that in & click ok. your file will be on roaming. just click on app data at the top then local & so on what the guy said in the video
Well nothing works for me. This game is just genuine piece of shit man. No fixes are working for me, and it still stutters, this game is just pure garbage for me man
