I seem to be holding 40-60 fps on Coruscant with a lot of stuttering. On Koboh I struggle to get to 30 fps around Rambler's Reach, especially when I go near the Jawas for some reason lol. It will dip to 17 fps every time. I have gone through a ton of your videos and followed everything from the Nvidia control panel optimization, windows optimization, MSI afterburner and spent a long time over clocking it to where it doesn't crash or artifact on Jedi Survivor. RTX 3080 here. Even if I disable Ray Tracing and set everything to LOW I get 39-44 fps at most in both 1440p and 1080p. If I disable the FSR the image becomes super blurry (as if the game was being rendered at 480p and then upscaled which should not happen when FSR is disabled, the game should be rendered at max resolution). There is something seriously fcked up with graphic settings. It seems Ray Tracing can't be disabled and will remain enable even when the game says it is not and changing graphic settings from EPIC to LOW I see no difference in performance or visuals. The game is seriously scr3wd up.

I have a RTX 3060 + Ryzen 5600X, game on High settings with no ray tracing; I get 30-45 FPS. Will update to the settings mentioned in this video and will update this comment. Just an update - tried the settings in the video but still does not work; max I got is 45 fps. after some research, I found out it's a release issue, a bug which EA needs to sort out asap! I mean why release a game on PC with this many bugs, you can't even run 60 fps on pc. That's why never pre-order a game (especially from EA) it's all about money to them.

I've read that a ton of people were using modern cards and struggling to maintain 60fps, thankfully the only issue I'm having is just high VRAM usage. I've got a 7700X and 7900XTX and I'm getting 75-85 FPS on Epic Settings, No Ray Tracing @3440x1440p. I was just looking to see if there were things I could lower to maintain 100-120 fps or get my GPU to run a little cooler. I hope that patch comes out because boy is this game taxing from the s**t show optimization, my card sounds like it's trying to escape my case.
I was expecting you to display the actual difference in performance expected, using these steps. In future, please show gameplay proof of performance increase 🤷♂️
This game is weird, whethere i go on Epic or low with or without ray tracing, I still get 30-50 Fps (When changing settings). Anyone know what could help? Should I force game through Nvidia settings or application based? It sucks because the game doesn't say what settings affect what (which a lot of other games does) hardware, like if I change my Texture settings, it doesn't say what changes in the game ,and what hardware is being used when changing setting. Seems the game is ported for PC from console developing, since it works flawless on the 30-60 fps range. Same here. It does not matter what settings I choose, I'll always get 30-50 fps with a many graphical issues (the fire is utter trash) and lag. I'm playing with an RTX 3080 and have disabled Ray Tracing (too expensive for the visual improvements it provides)
Nvidia greed is ruining gaming. ray tracing shouldn't have been adopted for another year or 2. It's basically in the beta stages right now and we're being made to pay extra for it. And good luck running any gane with Ray tracing on with something like a 2070. This stuff should be sorted out in house and released to us when it actually works. I coukd care less about Ray tracing. DLSS is the reason most people buy there cards.
I set the fps lock to 90fps in nvidia settings. In the menus it’s at 90, then drops to 60 maximum in the game. But it says it’s only utilising 60% of my 3070ti. Is there a setting I’m missing out on?

Same on me i have rx6800 and ryzen 5 5600x 16g ram its uses around %40 on CPU and GPU and 12g on ram but its giving 50-60 FPS its like there is a in game FPS cap
I dropped the fps down to 61 fps and since then it just sticks there no matter what I do. Highly reccomend for the smoothest action at this point in time..
I understand the desire to get this out as soon as possible, and in general I find your videos helpful, but you should take this down. The game is broken. Settings do not affect or improve performance at all as of this moment (day 1). It doesn't matter if you're running the game on low, 720p, or epic 4K, your FPS will not change at all. EA has acknowledged this (kinda, their statement was lacking a lot of truth lol) and is working on a fix.
I have a AMD Ryzen 7 3800X [4.2GHz], AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT MSI GAMING X TRIO 16G, GDDR6 and 16GB of RAM I'm getting frame drops to 10 FPS at some parts of the game even on Mid and low settings what can I change to adjust these drops and there REALLY should be a FPS count like JFO has

Most important to mention, after you make graphics changes, back ALL the way out of the game and restart it. Graphic changes only take place on restart. Sans resolution changes.
I have a 3060ti/5800x and I stay at 45-55fps no matter what settings I put. 1080p low settings the same, 1080p ultra the same, 1440p low/high the same. Can’t reach 60fps. Not even with dlss on quality or ultra performance. Nothing. The game is definitely broken
@@husucXXX There is no viable solution to this. The same issue is massive in Starcraft 2; And that is A LOT of years older than it should be for those issues. It's basically dependant on a PC dedicated to maximize performance on one CPU core. To put shortly, you have logical cores and physical cores. games like this and SC2 are dependant on the physical cores and can't "multithread" through the CPU. Your comment basically told me why I can't get more than 40fps which is the same as Sc2. so thanks, stranger ^^
My disc usage downloading is literally at 0 it’s not downloading on steam I’m so frustrated. Idk what’s going on I suck with pcs I know my pc is decent not the best
@@ilyayall I did the same. The game is trying to verify all files and download the new update at the same time and it bottlenecks to 0 on everything. Let your game redownload all your files on to your disk and then it should start applying the update. If you don’t know how to turn of write cache you open device manager and locate the disk you have the game installed on, then right click and go to properties, then go to the policies tab and it should be the first box. Just unclick it and apply and you should see you disk download rise. Hope this helped!
Nothing changes. RTX 3080 and 4k epic settings with ray tracing is 40 fps with stuttering. 1080p low settings without ray tracing is also 40 fps with stuttering.
RAM is main issue for me. Intelligent standby list cleaner ISLC really helped. managed to run the game on epic settings w/o RT at 1440p with more than 60fps on a GPU 2080ti. thank you for this video. What accent is that btw? Norwegian? Like it btw.
This helped me quite a bit, I wasn’t sure where to start. Low latency 100% helped with input lag. I knew this game had performance issues but I have an rtx 3080 so I had turned on ray tracing. That was by far the worst culprit, along with post processing. Without motion blur it looks herky jerky when I move around. I can see the frames as I move even though it says I am getting around 60 fps. I turned it back on, I personally like it better on.
Same here. It seems that graphic setting changes are not being applied properly. Even on LOW the game will look exactly the same and run at 40 fps with a 3080 (RT off).
R7 5800x/32gb Ram/3080... 50 fps average epic and RT on, 1440pUW. Honestly, I'm not happy with the optimization by any means, (especially given the hardware, not cutting edge, but not mid/low tier either) but it's more than playable for an SPG/RPG.

The only other game that gave me this trouble was cyberpunk 2077 tbh and for me starwars fallen order 2 is worse because in cyberpunk 2077 it was laggy true buggy but I never crashed only in night city but outside missions and missions far away from the center it was okay, problem with this game is I crash every hour and the nature of this game is, its darksouls like kinda so if u do 15mins of fighting then crash its like u gotta fight 1000 stormstroopers again wildlife and explore all puzzles u missed before the save point. I dont think these videos can help if they do they help a small % of people but for the majority of us and me with okay decent pcs its up in the air. Another thing is "why buy EA games on launch" well I did? I bought fallen order on launch day and it was a 10/10 game I had no reason to think this game was gonna be cyberpunk 2077 level on launch day complete confused by EA its the consistency that threw me off, fallen order was perfect this game??? wtf happened, its almost like if the game starts off okay then gradually gets worse over the more I play it until I finally freeze then have to alt f4/stop proccess of starwars
I use about 65% of my GPU and 54%of my CPU + 18gb out of my 32Gb RAM.... Yet I get 40 FPS 😂 Doesnt really matter what I change, everything stays almost the same 😢

Somethings wrong with the game I think. I'm getting about 50 or 70 fps on a 13700k and 4070ti and even when I lower the graphics settings it doesn't change

Glad I'm not the only one with that exact issue. I keep double checking to see if FSR is enabled or not but the image is still terrible

This game has some weird bindings. M&K was just forget it......but even controller bindings are very weird setup.
Turn amd super resolution 2.0 on in-game, it fixes then Muddy textures, works on nvidia cards too don't know why

the only thing you can do is wait for an update, because they didnt optimize it, and is making a cpu bottleneck

Please tell me your playing on a computer. If your playing on a console you cannot change the graphical settings.

It’s the completely opposite for me. It runs smoothly on Coruscant but as I get to Kobo it gets pretty laggy.

It's because you have an intel cpu. 3d cache processor are running well on this game.
Somethings wrong with the game I think. I'm getting about 50 or 70 fps on a 13700k and 4070ti and even when I lower the graphics settings it doesn't change
