As soon as i heard ladypool road i remembered that rotisserie chicken episode.. an area that keeps the food hygiene inspectors busy

Irrespective of what you think, ive noticed how Matt when doing the intro stands with his back towards the entrance of the venue so the venue staff can clearly see Food Review Club on his tee shirt or track suit top with his cameras team filming. Just saying 😮😮😮

It’s been said that the great Pitmasters have no secrets they will gladly give you all their recipes and step-by-step instructions but that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to do what they do!
Absolutely, as an inspiring uk smoker who's visited texas multiple times and spoken to a few greats.. Never met one who was shy to talk... its what we do as bbq fanatics..
I was highly anticipating my visit here during my weekend away in March, all I can say is I was disappointed. Take away service only due to Ramadan, despite eating immediately in the car outside it was lukewarm warm and underwhelming

Generally like to say Holy Smokes is very good and the brisket is banging.
And I understand the owner is excited about having a food reviewer in the restaurant. But constantly hovering around and massaging FRC’s bullocks as he eats the food is a bit too much and makes him look a bit stupid.
But none the less amazing food

Real food respect
I went here last week, it was truly disappointing unfortunately. The meat wasn't tender, no real taste either. We gave that feedback to the workers there, so hopefully things change.

They make brisket mate they don’t put Indian spices onto smoke house meats so research about smoke house rather than not appreciate meat for there authentic taste
Smoked for hours, then gives you a wooden knife and fork.

I've actually been to several similar places in London who all offered their dishes in the same way. Paper plates and disposable cutlery. No idea why

If I get handed a wooden fork in a restaurant, I'm gone.
@@terrywoodfine8848 the smoke houses I went to in London have about 2hr queues outside which sounds like this place has same issue. Probably a way to turn customers and serve customers quickly. It didn't detract from my experience though

The food does look good, authenticity can be claimed since its a firewood smoker but as for those ribs... I can tell you from seeing the meat.. It was overcooked and doused in juice..
Theres that healthy jiggle and tenderness, then there's a product that looks like pulled meat...
Did look nice, i would eat and most probably enjoy it too, i make better at home.

I’m sorry but these aren’t genuine honest reviews. These establishments know you’re coming and roll out the red carpet for you. You need to arrive unannounced and catch them on the hop. More and more reviews are like this now sadly, you need to go back to basics

But how is it possible to make the food better than it is for someone else, if the food is smoked at 4am every morning and it tastes dry wouldn’t he say oh it’s dry.

I drove from Manchester 3 cars 12 of us. Tried the food. It was absolutely banging. It was 100% worth it

In conclusion, there is a high likelihood that you consume halal meat if you buy from external establishments.

You're showing your ignorance here. Texas style BBQ is famously beef centric. Pork products are occasionally there, but they're there to appease the non Texans. Pork is way more common in East coast southern states.

Texas bbq incorporates all that is bbq, you cannot exclude items on the menu and still call it texas.
I'd pick beef over pork too all day but... call it what is is, great smoked bbq.. not texas.
