I dunno I've been known to mop up the gravy with bread and butter so maybe that was their take on this
Gravy makes a roast dinner, and lots of people eat their roast in a bowl so you can have everything swimming in it.
A baguette has no place on a roast, and cauliflower cheese is the only way to make cauliflower tasty 😄.

the english aren't going to blend cauliflower to the consistency of whipped potatoes but yeah, cheese does add a taste, otherwise, what's going to make cauliflower palatable? sorry js i can't even enjoy seeing you eat any vege that is normally steamed, with no season or sauce
Yorkshire pudding is NOTHING like any pastry!! It’s like a pancake batter poured onto very hot oil and it puffs up and cooks - yummy 😋

That shows how great of an eater and a professional you are Joel when you can be presented with something you don’t like at all and just get through it no problem and without a stumble
to be fair, he did show a disdain for it, because he doesn't like gravy he tried earlier to save face, but it came out in the end, no problem, though, at least it was his friend and team mate to take down all that bread...there is that, right?

Yes! This is the one I have been waiting for, it was mahoosive and you absolutely smashed it. Glad to see the English Mustard make an appearance too. I've been to North America many times, and eaten some of the worst food I've ever had. We Brits do have bad places to eat, but you're deluded if you think you don't beat us with the awful rubbish produced in North America. Drinks that taste like vaseline, come on!

26:51 Yes, Swede is mashed Turnips with butter. Its best mixed with mashed carrots. Parsnip is the Devil's food. Baguettes are never served with a roast, but in this case its ok because it will soak up most of the gravy. Cauliflower Cheese is boss, but it holds its heat for a long time. The normal roast is not an all you can eat buffet. Its called a carvery and you get 1 portion.
That roast is absolutely insane ❤My favourite thing on a sunday roast is the meat and stuffings. Adore chestnut stuffing at Christmas ❤

Having lived in the UK myself for 4 years, I disagree about searching out the local cuisine.
It is typically bland and boring. There are some decent curry and Kabop shops all over though.
