About name plates, they could do something similar to Gears of War. At a certain distance, the COG and Locust would glow blue and red respectively. Here, the enemy team would have a red tint/glow and your team would have a blue tint/glow.
Black Ops 4 did it best, even though people could look alike because the game had "operators", they glowed red all over their body if they were an enemy with a giant red health bar if you attacked them. Also for teammates they showed a nice white big health bar above them. It made visibility and enemy designation really easy tbh.
Yes! As a visually impaired player, I’ve struggled ever since Vanguard since the name plates aren’t as vivid/big as Cold War (even after tweaking accessibility settings). I hope this is better, but after seeing “zombies” gameplay, I’m not holding my breath.
I wish we had combat pacing back but just the two modes rather than the 3 Vanguard launched with. Id have a 6v6 mode and either 10v10 or 12v12 option. It was a cool feature but it depends on people playing the game to work
Love the analogies. Hoping to play the beta. I like black ops gameplay and MW’s visuals. I didn’t think they’d ever be combined. I usually wait for a decent sale any way. Don’t play much now that I have kids and a long commute. The maps and hopefully 3rd person would be worth it on a nice sale.
Don't let all the good stuff distract you from the fact that MWII should have had all of this from day 1, but now we have to pay 70$ (90 here in canada lmao) for a patch.
Appreciate hearing this from you, Im sure there will be some jank but based off what you said it might not be another dog piss year of COD. Keep up the work brother, can’t wait to see the next video on this game.
Imagine having an entire community all in agreement that the Hulu menu in your game sucks ass and you go ahead and do not change it at all for your $70 dlc… you cant make this shit up
honestly i hope that some of the fun glitches from modern warfare II are in this beta, bipod launching up to the floating floor collision in the sky and sniping was fun af, also thoughts on rebirth and fortunes keep coming back?
The UI reminds me of Ghosts, yeesh. The Beta and launch make the game look good, however, post launch worries me. Modern COD has a track record of fixing things that aren’t broke, taking away things that are good and adding stuff that sucks, and creating more bugs that they fix. And who could forget adding bundles to the COD store. I also worry that pre season 1 is going to have nothing to do; barracks, challenges, etc. It won’t surprise me if a month into the game, a good chunk of people stop playing. I hope this doesn’t happen but, it’s happened in the past. And no, I don’t think remastered MW2(09) maps, DMZ zombies, and a 4 hour campaign with Makarov as the main antagonist is worth $70.
Gonna have to agree with the shooting teammates' situation. The footsteps sound way too similar to enemies, and the visibility is horrible. So I ended up shooting my teammates all the time, before this wasn't an issue Not as bad, at least. But I still can't grasp how four thousand developers or 5 k devs can't get a call of duty just right, it's mine boggling. I only play cod for the first few months, and then I don't play again.
I’m gonna be honest it’s not bad at all, the ui is still ass and the movement feels weird (because we are not used to having any) but even if this game turns out to be an amazing game people just won’t admit it because of the similarities to mw2 and the dlc thing. But we are still in beta and a lot of things can go wrong which I won’t doubt will happen.
It’s just the honey moon phase, I promise you 1 month after launch, you’ll hate this game. It’s usually how it goes for COD these past years. I remember I used to play COD thru out the year but it started being less and less ever since infinite warfare (which I’m level 3 in that game lmao)
I think your commentary spot on. Due to history I won't personally pick it up till a few months after release for Christmas sale maybe? Haven't been into all the bs cycles over the past couple years. So keep doing what you're doing ie giving praise where warranted but critical all round. ❤️🍻
I thought it would be crap but if you say it’s not bad, I’ll take your word on it. Also I agree with you, I’m also worried about what else this game will come with when it’s “finished” hopefully this game will be worth the money they’re going to charge. We shall see
It's was always gonna be a good game, it's just fact that this is what mw2 should've been and we shouldn't pay another $70 for something we should've had day 1 when Mw2 was supposed to be the start of 2 year intervals but then they drop mw3 a year later with mw2 maps like literally a spit in the face, same exact engine, skins, guns same exact everything
this is what mw2022 should have been at launch and that's my problem with it. the 70 dollar price tag is an exaggeration, it's literally just a mw2 mod
My own review so far, the game does feel a lot better. The gunplay feels better, the recoil is better. Movement is what we had all asked for as well, for these being the og maps as well the flow is actually quite good too. TTK is improved and the hit marker sounds etc are a lot more fluid for feedback. We got our red dots back on the map. It does, so far it feels clean but this is the beta lol and as I said to my Brother COD has a honeymoon period where it feels great but then the period passes and they start pumping it full of bs to the point I don’t even play the game anymore. For everyone saying it’s a DLC it basically is, but so was the og MW3 from MW2. Cod does need to die though, but we are still waiting for a game to make that happen and scratch our fps itch
On mw3 I felt was a more of a fine tuned mw2. A lot of stuff was different and I believe made it a better game than before. This has literally the same HUD ,menu screen and everything. I’ll be definitely waiting after the honeymoon phase after the hype dies down and see where the game is at before I buy it.
Yo I get STUCK in Warzone all the time shit kills me it's annoying 💯 it was great to see you playing again. Your criticism and commentary is important for the community and the overall health of the game. My problem is SBMM and Optimized Match making. After learning that, i finally left. Doesnt matter how good it feels, if you arent in control, then it takes away the fun. You question wether you did good or if the game screwed the other person over and vis versa. Also, i dont think i would pay $70 to play the same exact game with no new maps except the same damn ones i been playing 14 years. Those maps are good but they keep recycling it even on cold war they keep recycling bo2 maps. Gonna get sick of those eventually....I dont think its worth $70 with no new content except except micro transactions. Agreed. I fell into the trap with Vanguard and MwII. This year I will not buy it, unless people absolutely love this game. 😂 RDR2 is from 2018 and still holds up better than most new games
@OoLiiMiiT3D I definitely fell for mw2. For me it's not an awful game in the sense of gameplay. I liked it but I always questioned why some games were far easier than others and why it always seemed to buffer before killing an enemy. I learned that SBMM and worse Optimized and it just scared the hell out of me. So surreal tlwhen I found out that I was experiencing everything people were saying. Knowing some AI is analyzing your gameplay and manipulating it mid game. It really changed everything. Idealth with everything else but knowing an AI decides how well I do completely destroyed any trust in that game.....and yeah bud, I played rd2 first time this year and it was amazing. I'm into division 2 rn. That held up pretty well. They still making seasons after 5 years lol
Props to Sledge Hammer Games for ACTUALLY listening to the community and bringing back shit the players wanted that wasn’t in MW2, that’s why I support this game

Did you see the Twitter post from GhostofHope where a dev said they are doing what there're told? It was the post from Oct 5th where he said his "dislike for Infinity Ward purely is directed at the head developers who are responsible for the design decisions." Reed S replied with saying they are doing what they are told by Infinity Ward. Just that 1 reply said a lot.
MW2 required the collaborative help from Sledgehammer and Treyarch. MW3 only needed Sledgehammer apart from Treyarch doing zombies again. Maybe Jev is right about Sledgehammer's crappy game design, it’s bad but fun.
It feels like a huge downgrade from MW2 to me, in every aspect apart from movement. The maps are also too big for 6v6. Pretty sure the OG MW2 was 8v8 by default.

It was a cool feature but it depends on people playing the game to work
Come on BT!!!! The "STUCK" is weak!!!! Give it some more enthusiasm like Vanguard😂😂😂😂
I think the haziness is from the hdr that gets automatically turned on
Blame truth, the core gameplay has never been bad. Do not fool or bend!! Nostalgia is getting the best of you.
It's exactly the same bloody game with longer ttk
Love the analogies. Hoping to play the beta. I like black ops gameplay and MW’s visuals. I didn’t think they’d ever be combined. I usually wait for a decent sale any way. Don’t play much now that I have kids and a long commute. The maps and hopefully 3rd person would be worth it on a nice sale.
Rare footage of blametruth actually liking a cod game
But, will it be good after 100 games with sbmm on?
Fhank you BT that FOV was devouring my soul in the begging
Knew you’d simp for it.
Hes a sellout
Don't let all the good stuff distract you from the fact that MWII should have had all of this from day 1, but now we have to pay 70$ (90 here in canada lmao) for a patch.
The FOV might be the reason why you are running into walls
Yea like wtf, isn’t he the cod guy? 💀
Pretty sure it was a skill issue
What about the " bah bah haaa!!!!! I AINT BUYING MW3!? "
Appreciate hearing this from you, Im sure there will be some jank but based off what you said it might not be another dog piss year of COD. Keep up the work brother, can’t wait to see the next video on this game.
definitely hoping so
@@JS-bn5cbsame still not pre-ordering but I’ll wait a week or 2 after release and make my decision.
Imagine having an entire community all in agreement that the Hulu menu in your game sucks ass and you go ahead and do not change it at all for your $70 dlc… you cant make this shit up
Blametruth for months: COD MWIII is gonna suck, DON'T buy it.
Now: preorders it for beta access, its actually good.
lmfao.
First impression from your game play: you ran from your flag all the way to the enemy's at the start without seeing a single enemy...
honestly i hope that some of the fun glitches from modern warfare II are in this beta, bipod launching up to the floating floor collision in the sky and sniping was fun af, also thoughts on rebirth and fortunes keep coming back?
“Fun”
So crazy to hear something positive come from you about cod lol
Yeah it doesn’t seem terrible it could be better and it can definitely get worse
Love that you keep it objective my guy
Yea and it plays like ghosts to… put 30 round mag into one person and die in 3shots instantly.
Activision: "lets show everyone what MW3 is all about!"
Me: "Hardhat, Dome, Arkaden, village?"
Activision: "Favela"
Me: "bruh, thats a MW2 map"
Let's see how fast they'll break 💩 in this game. Betting 2 months tops.
I'm betting 3 months
@@swampdocProbably as soon as Season 1 comes & the first big bundle premieres 😂
Dude plays 1 match and forgets SBMM exists..
I only play cod for the first few months, and then I don't play again.
wake me up when they make a cod without sbmm or give us separate casual and ranked lobbies
I’m gonna be honest it’s not bad at all, the ui is still ass and the movement feels weird (because we are not used to having any) but even if this game turns out to be an amazing game people just won’t admit it because of the similarities to mw2 and the dlc thing. But we are still in beta and a lot of things can go wrong which I won’t doubt will happen.
it’s like at some point it has to get boring… the Maps were very cool and it was very hectic but dude we all grew up
It’s just the honey moon phase, I promise you 1 month after launch, you’ll hate this game.
I agree, if only they took their time making the games tho
this is what mw2022 should have been at launch and that's my problem with it. the 70 dollar price tag is an exaggeration, it's literally just a mw2 mod
@@joeyleo2386let's not let Nostalgia blind us
@@RaNgErs_Rep exactly, if nostalgia is their main selling point there’s really nothing to look forward too.
Im about to start ragehacking to force more people away from cod
MW3 to me looks like someone tried to make MW2 in Roblox or something but changed stuff around to avoid copyright infringement.
Yo I get STUCK in Warzone all the time shit kills me it's annoying 💯 it was great to see you playing again. Your criticism and commentary is important for the community and the overall health of the game. I hope they don't F this up we need you in the game haha I will watch and like every video even if I disagree and eat paste but watching the CODFather play anything but COD is just as weird as this new era of Call of Duty is. #codfam
Why tf are you playing war zone dude ?
Good to hear you’re liking it. Hopefully we’ll actually have a good COD year.
This also just goes to show BLAME TRUTH is 100% objective & 100% willing to call a good game good. SO happy to see the boy happy about COD again.
Still door busters and loss the arcade feel trash game
@@hostbug1461 word? I'm now mainly worried that it'll be SBMM fucking hell, one good game and they give you a team of -6 k/d mongoloids. Or god forbid another iteration of skill based interactions/hit markers. Any player retention mechanics will nuke it, which im like 97% sure will be the case.
Blame truth complementing a new cod title WHAAAAA?
My problem is SBMM and Optimized Match making. After learning that, i finally left. Doesnt matter how good it feels, if you arent in control, then it takes away the fun. You question wether you did good or if the game screwed the other person over and vis versa. Also, i dont think i would pay $70 to play the same exact game with no new maps except the same damn ones i been playing 14 years. Those maps are good but they keep recycling it even on cold war they keep recycling bo2 maps. Gonna get sick of those eventually....I dont think its worth $70 with no new content except except micro transactions. I know they all are, but this one just really has that feeling of "quick cash grab." Ive been enjoying so much more games ever since like rd2, the division 2, battlefield, and more.
Agreed. I fell into the trap with Vanguard and MwII. This year I will not buy it, unless people absolutely love this game. 😂 RDR2 is from 2018 and still holds up better than most new games
@@OoLiiMiiT3D I would recommend the new Assassin's Creed too if you're into that.
@@TheyWantMeGone69 I just got that too 😂 👍🏻
It's not the same exact game 💀💀💀 we can tell you haven't played it yet
The game can be decent but it’s inexcusable that it cost 70 dollars to get the game that MWII should have been a year ago. It’s a 70 dollar update
Props to Sledge Hammer Games for ACTUALLY listening to the community and bringing back shit the players wanted that wasn’t in MW2, that’s why I support this game
Agreed
To reduce haziness, film grain to 0 and amd fjx sharpness to 100
It’s GOOD, lmao honestly I’m not buying it and chances are you’ll complain about it again tbh
My guy walked directly into a wall, and then also walked into a turret and complained about being stuck…
Its feels like mw2 2022 should have been 🙄 I'm always anxious with the changes they make after the beta or post launch.
If there was no sbmm would be a lovely year 😅
Someone from Activision has a gun to BTs head making him saying positive things. 😅😅
Infinity Ward is doing the campaign as well.
The game can be a 10/10 but i refuse to pay 70€ for what last year should have been
It feels like a huge downgrade from MW2 to me, in every aspect apart from movement. The maps are also too big for 6v6. Pretty sure the OG MW2 was 8v8 by default.
Dude I legit almost threw up watching this. That FOV is crazy wtf 😂🤣
Am I high?
To fix your elgato sound you’ll need a chat link cable if you are playing with a headset. The cheaper one will make a buzzing sound in your recording if your controller is plugged in, the more expensive cable won’t make that buzzing sound
Hope that solves your issue
Is this a fake video???? BT positive about a cod for the first time in years

it may not be back to cod but its something, and its heading in the right direction. all they need to do is just keep going forward after that. and then we can have good games again
Vanguard got one thing right it was the combat pacing modes 6v6, 10v10, and 18v18
That was the one thing i hated about Vanguard. I mean if it worked it wouldve been fine. But i hated chosing 6v6 on Search&Destroy & being forced into 10v10 lobbies. I dropped it in like 3 weeks 🥊
Amazing, they went from a Yellow UI to Blue. Truly a revolutionary change.
Legend has it, the better you do, the more corner creeps and bush bunny’s you encounter. Sbmm greatest thing to happen to cod 😀
i love how there is a mw3 ad before the video
You did all that bitching to preorder mw3 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly the gameplay was absolutely solid. My map knowledge from OG MW2 was so rusty I had to relearn the maps. But the stink of SBMM was ever so present. Every single game was close to a tie, everyone was playing like it was a tournament with 6 figures on the line.
I would consider buying it and dealing with the SBMM if lobby disbanding didn't exist. So still gonna pass on this, but watch the vids like usual.
Not sure if this is exactly what you want, but in mw2022 they added an option to play again with your team, and I would assume if everyone in the lobby clicked play again with team it'd keep the lobby together
@@Jop9099That is not the same though. Thats like "we have McDonalds at home"
