Absolutely love the three guys. They stayed honest and didn't just say something they didn't believe in to fill the silence. When asked for advice where there is none to be given, they admited to the silence and I think that makes them so great, they didn't pretend to know better, they didn't try to look as cool and wise as possible.. they're still just normal people and music fans at heart.
I was at the very first breakfast with Green Day, Oct. 9th 2000. Sincerely one of the best days of my life!!! I so wish I could find a recording of that show. It is tucked safely away in my memory I suppose! At least I have mementos from that day
