I played in a punk band when they were just starting out. In 1991 we toured Europe, they were also touring Europe then for the first time. We played several shows with them and became friends, staying at my house a couple times before blowing up. Mike was the nicest dude. As was Billie. Tre is was a little bit of a dick but drummers always are. They were good but I didn't expect this.

I just made an interesting realization. I like Green Day and I saw them when they came to Indianapolis this year. But it's interesting they play the same set list at every venue on tour. Why don't they mix it up? They have tons of other songs to mix and match too. But all in all, I'm still a fan of them.
Because there aren't just three guys playing. There's a dozen more with different buttons and knobs to twiddle. It would take far too long for everyone to be prepped for every single song possibility and little time between shows to change everything ... pretty much the same for any large stage production. Smaller gigs its more possible but they have a lot less tech to change around.
That figures why they always bring fans onstage which I think is a great idea if I ever went to a green Day concert I’d want to sing with them for a laugh

Not even the covers during "Shout" have changed since the Oakland Coliseum! And why have you ignored the good songs from the trilogy like 99 Revolutions, Stay The Night and Nuclear Family (I know they played Nuclear Family ONCE this year. Not enough.)
