As a Lions fan, we've never been so happy. Last time we were good everyone hated us cus we had Suh. It feels SO GOOD to be liked! 😭
As a packer fan, I hated Suh exclusively 😂 he was the worst. Had nothing but respect for the rest of the crew. Excited to see what you guys put together this year
Honestly the rest of the league is kinda tired of doggin on the Lions. Like, you can't even hate em. We just wanna see you guys do well 🤣
As a Jets fan I've always rooted for the Lions since they are also perennial under dogs... we both have good lookin squads this year and we play each other toward the end of the season... Every year teams beat teams they're not supposed to and they lose to teams they're expected to beat. I picked the Jets to upset the Packers at Lambou after they get back from London on a short week, and I picked the Lions game as a potential game we lose that we are favorited. Hope we beat y'all's asses but should be a good game haha 😂

I’m a life long 30+ year chargers fan. The Lions stole my heart last season. I love this team and I thought MCDC was a complete clown with his first press conference and I was seriously wrong about that. This man IS Detroit Lions! And his players absolutely love him and want to be accountable to him. Great coaching staff with gobs of experience. I hope this finally gives the Lions’ fans something to hope for. MCDC is the Stone Cold Steve Austin of NFL head coaches.

Headcoaches speeches are epic, but let´s not forget Jamaal Williams knocking it out of the park with that huddle breakdown. Raw, emotional, pure brotherhood of the game on display and then he just drops: "If you pee like a pooch, stay on the porch". You can´t write that.

I’m a packers fan and I’m pumped for him.
I honestly rolled my eyes at most of what he said.. I don't think a lot of those guys are going to buy in.. He's way too emotional and over the top, and doesn't come off as a Belichick type that actually knows what he's doing.. Like he thinks he can move a mountain with heart, while Bill is moving the mountain with dynamite.
@@mattm8441 it’s not just about what he’s going to do. It’s about the team of coaches he has surrounded himself with and every single one of them has close to 10 years of NFL experience, including himself. Some of the stuff he says sounds a little silly but I think he knows what he’s doing.

Jamaal may not be the starter, but he did get over 150 carries and 600+ rushing yards on the season. Dude has a significant role on the team.
And he knows the shelf life of the modern nfl running back so that’s why he was so passionate with his speech

Building a winning culture is imperative to success, and Detroit is doing this. I have seen this as a Bills fan since McDermott/Beane took over (and it's starting to translate to the Sabres as well).
They won 3 games last year, they win 4-5 this year, people will get real sick of the shtick, real fast. You can talk about heart and grit, and cry 3 times a day, but unless you got talent, good coaching, and most importantly - wins, you're going to be a joke. So for now, to me, he's a joke.

@@mattm8441 Hey did you watch the last season at all? Detroit played Hard!!!! Every game! I mean they lost to the Ravens due to an NFL record breaking last second field goal. They were a hard luck team, and I can assure you other teams did not walk in there thinking they would have an easy game. Ask Mathew Stafford of the Rams. .....So something is schtick until it succeeds. If they have the game planning and coaches to do the in game adjustments required to win, they will win.
The toughness aspect was needed to allow them to compete in games against teams with superior talent.
It’s so satisfying seeing our Bills succeed after so long.
If there was a team in the nfc I’d choose to root for… ITS THE LIONS.

When I first heard who was going to be on Hard Knocks, I was thinking it would suck, I am blown away, one of the best in a long time. I went to see this Hard Knocks episode premiere in theaters in Royal Oak. As a Lions fan and Detroit native, I’ve never been more pumped for a season. No matter the record, I’m happy with where this organization is headed.

This is going to be a disciplined fundamental team that’s a few good picks and signings away from changing to a perennial stalwart of the NFL. You will not find a more loyal fan base to a worse club in the league. I’m a Lions fan and we have not proven to be capable of those things I mentioned ever before but I am hopeful for once it’s actually being built right

If I’m not wrong the Lions have the youngest team in the league as well as the most ex players on coaching staff. Top it of with MCDC at the helm and I’m really excited for one of the few times in 45 years of being a fan! GO LIONS!

I thought mcdc was a terrible mistake after the 1st 6 7 games last year. But now I wouldn't want a different coach dude is definitely a leader of men. You can see all his players love that guy
