Great interview! Carnivore has DRASTICALLY changed my life. As recently as May, I was on a BiPAP at 20/16. The drop in inflammation continues to the point I have had to titrate down several times. Currently back to CPAP at 9. I pull my data a couple times a week. Since May I have lost over 40lbs, 105lbs total since my highest in 2018.
Drastic reduction in BP, cholesterol and heart meds as well. I've lost and gained weight several times before, but NOTHING has fixed problems like this has. Thanks Doc! @@dylanpetkusmd
I had 70 apneas a night, the doctors wanted me to put a machine to help me, used to wake-up 3 or 4 times to go pee and in 5 months of carnivore diet I was sleeping 6 hours straight no more apnea no more toilet trips
About the same with me. The waking up was bad enough but feeling like I had to get up and pee every time it happened meant I never got a full nights sleep.
Great interview, thanks a lot! Actually tomorrow I get the results of a renewed sleep evaluation (one night with a watch pat on) because I lost 20 kilograms on one year of carnivore diet and we suspect my sleap apnea has mostly gone away. I may not need my CPAP machine anymore! Thanks so much Kerry and Dylan.
This was such a cool video Kerry! Thank you for sharing this information with us! On my way to order a shirt! Love your passion! Love&Light from California 🤍🤍🐷🐷
My husband had balloon sinuplasty several years ago. Still snored. He bought the mouth guards. Still snored. He was 5'9, 175 lbs so no weight to correct. June 2024 He decided to try carnivore because I started it a month before. He stopped snoring THE FIRST DAY. I have gone from being kept awake by snoring to checking him to see if he's still breathing because he's quiet now.
I can't tell if I'm still snoring cuz I live alone but certain aspects of my sleep have slightly improved. I have no doubt this will continue to improve along with all of my issues. Having hope is huge! Thank you both for giving us options and education. We appreciate you. 🙂👍❤🇨🇦

I am now convinced that anxiety and depression are myths, and whenever I see anyone enduring those symptoms, I just assume that they are not consuming enough protein and fat. Whenever I feel those things creeping in, I immediately consume meat or eggs etc, and immediately those feelings disappear. No wonder I used to feel so awful, because essentially I was starving, despite my eating regularly. Eating sugar or salad when you are hungry, is like trying to fill a bottomless well with water.
A few nights ago I started putting a drop of castor oil on my eye lids and my sleep improved dramatically. Of course carnivore is awesome but my sleep was not where I wanted it.
My husband is almost 2 weeks in on carnivore and still snoring, but he's getting home really late and eating. He's really hungry so he's eating a lot because he's going too long between meals. I noticed if he is not eating late though that his snoring is a lot quieter.
Before starting carnivore I had such extreme sleep apnea that the doctors said there was a good chance that at some point I would just stop breathing while I slept and never wake up again. About 3 days after starting carnivore my sleep apnea went away completely.
I actually knew the guy when I was a kid. he was friends with my dad and we went on camping trips together. I was there for his second daughters birth and the baby shower was at my parent home. :)
I think we are really confusing diets here. The reason the carnivore diet works for people is because they went from eating ultra processed crap to clean simple goods. There are no long term studies proving that one diet is the ultimate one.
I don't need a long-term study to tell me how I feel! I was eating lots of greens, fresh vegetables, gluten-free, little processed food, and still was inflamed and had low energy. It wasn't until I started eating carnivore that I really felt alive!
I couldn't sleep more than 4-5 hrs on carnivore. And that was interrupted sleep for the most part bcs I was waking up with racing heart all the time. Imagine doing that for 15 months! I was a complete WRECK after that. I tried every carnivore trick in the book but nothing helped but bringing back carbs. I've heard so many that had the same experience.

The jokes are great. Keep it up. I like your humor Dr Petkus. Everybody else is always way too serious. Thanks for lightening it up!

There are apps for your fone that will tell you if you're snoring and actually record for you to replay the audio.
I use the app snore lab to record my sleep. It’s pretty cool.
Living alone or with others shouldn't really affect your snoring or lack thereof
@@thedoomslayer5863 I meant no one is there to tell me if I snore and I don't know if I snore but apparently there's apps for that lol!

Terri leist might be a great interview. She's on RUclips, her name is her channel, she is down 180 from keto/carnivore.
Agree! And she is so entertaining, and gaining 1000 subscribers a month.

Sixty days in, I feel like your body tells you to sleep on your left side.
My sleep hasn’t been improved at all on carnivore. Retired not much stress. Work out to tire myself out. Go to bed same time. Not overweight.
Do you use caffeine?
Do you work out too close to bedtime?
Are you using electronics too close to bedtime?
You are not alone....15 months of severe sleep deprivation did a number on me. I need carbs to sleep.

Just saw that Bas Rutten is a carnivore…might be a long shot, but maybe he’d be up for an interview. 👍

I have snored since I was a little kid. I'm five days into carnivore, not optimistic about tossing the CPAP machine!
Sleep well, eat meat, smile 😁 all day.
And repeat. 👍
Maybe its also the chewing of the meat that is changing the jaw structure that is reducing inflammation
Great information. You’re doing Gods work Dylan. Consider backing off the jokes a touch. (With respect) ✊🏽
I like the jokes. 😊
According to Dr. Berg 30 minutes of sunshine is the equivalent of 10,000 iu. Our RDA geniuses tell us 600 iu is sufficient. Good grief.😊
Have you heard from Jeff De Prosperis? Wondering if he is ok. He just dropped off the scene...

Did you drink any coffee on carnivore?
Check out Dr Joule Gould on youtube. Vitamin D also plays a role in sleep apnea
