One thing is true. Today we are very impatient and got short attention spans. I mean Marty can’t even wait for the pizza when it’s only been cooking for 2 seconds.
In the BTTF2 novelization, future Marty actually complained in his head about them not being able to afford one of the newer model of hydrators that does the cooking even faster... So you were 100% about no matter how fast and easy things get, people will always want them to be even better.

What exactly did he do? They don’t really tell us much, and it seems like Marty used a company card to pay for a personal charge or something else he didn’t want his boss to know about. Even if it’s not illegal, it’s definitely a firable offense.
Did Granny McFly actually go to Pizza Hut to pick up a dehydrated pizza? Seems like the dehydrator would put Pizza Hut out of business and you’d just pick a few dehydrated pizzas up at the store or I guess they didn’t predict you’d order a dozen for your pantry on Amazon.
