It’s one of the most popular fast foods in the uk we even have knock off you can cook at home that are McDonald’s inspired, my shopping centre has 3 McDonald’s all within walking distance
McDonald’s IS popular. Its not cheap anymore. Obese people lie to themselves and everyone else about food deserts and affordability, when they actually just want to gorge themselves on fast food

It was $14 for a medium double quarter pounder meal today. Not even a large fry or soda. I totally support mcdonalds employees making more than 15 and hour, but I dont support the greedy CEO’s passing that pay raise *directly* onto the customer while still making billions per year. So I go to McD’s less than 5 times a year. Its 75% cheaper to go to an actual restaurant and tip well.
It's not just McDonald's. Anytime one of these places have their employees start demanding a higher pay and they get it, literally everything goes up just about everywhere within six months or so (groceries, gas, taxes, clothing, etc). People either need to just find higher paying jobs or work their way up through the ranks at their job the old fashioned way because this "raise our pay" outcry screws everyone over and we all end up right back where we started.
@@willowingwhispers2612here’s the thing, it literally doesn’t have to be this way and the employees making an actual livable wage is not the issue. CEO pay is cause those fuckers can’t stand the thought of getting less than a million dollar a year raise on top of their already astronomical salaries. They trick you into being outraged that folks can pay their rent and eat while working in fast food. It’s ok and they don’t deserve that opportunity any less than someone who works in a different field. Save your outrage for the people demanding $50 million dollars a year for sitting in a shiny office running meetings while actual workers make the company money.
@@willowingwhispers2612for the record, fast food workers in other countries are making around $25 an hour to start and the food is more reasonably priced and cleaner than the shit they serve in the US. The CEO’s also don’t seem to be suffering because of this the way CEO’s in the US are.
