No one like an Aussie Tradesman to show you how to do a job properly without cutting corners. Especially love the tip about wrapping brushes in plastic between coats!
- Excellent video, thanks very much. - I have a brand new kitchen that someone accidentally burned a hole in. What would you do - repaint the entire bench top, or is there a lesser, easier option? (I'd be willing to tolerate a minor blemish appearance as long as the end result was tough and the same colour.)
Nice tutorial--painting laminate is a great option when whole-counter replacement is not. It's a shame the sink wasn't lifted, though. Taping should be done with extreme care, or the area around the sink could end up a disappointment.
3 part A to 1 part B according to the instruction for the top layer according to the tin instruction. That part is wrong in this video. Use Mohair roller instead of form roller.
Pretty shocked to learn how expensive this stuff is. Just the clear coat is $130AUD in 2023 and has terrible reviews. I guarantee it easier and much better to replace the benches than spended $600 on these seemingly sub-par products. yeeesh

Why did you remove the masking tape before applying the top coat? Can the overpaint be cleaned off tiles and sinks easily?
Is White Knight available in Malaysia?

Don't use mohair unless you want fibres in your finish!
You should remove the sink, not mask it.
