How do you go about thanking these artists( yes the Rolling Stones and Florence Welch ) bye saying this song, saved my life?
When I had Covid , for three weeks I was in a coma and this was play to me when I woke up. I was transfixed to this song for the next three weeks while in hospital, where I worked. It gave me a reason to keep going. Even today inspires a deep feeling of determination and comfort when listening to this song, Music is magical and the Stones and Florence Welch are wizards.

@@crackerjack5210 He doesnt need to try tho, people with a strong presence do that naturally. Jagger is an absolute legend and not many people can keep up with his energy on stage. Florence apperently can, and this is an amazing video, so kudos to both of them.
the stones loved Sheryl Crow for the same reason,, she just wasn't fazed by them and they admire her for it..Keith Richard even said she was a very good guitar player and mick loved performing with her.
Eddie Vedder performed this the Stones...Amazing vocals...Florence sounds awesome....

It's curious how people (some men in particular) are criticizing Florence's voice when they can't even hold a proper note for 4 seconds. There's no doubt she is a flawless performer and songwriter. But haters are always going to hate, right?
Of course she is great ! My family love her but i think that perform wasn't great. She wanted to be bigger than Jagger. I didn't like it.
I think perform with Eddie Vedder was The Best!
This just isn't a song she can do in the way he does it.
They pair well but, not on this song.
Florence has a weak lower register and Mick is all lower register in this song so Florence either has to belt or try and reel back projection and volume which can make her vibrato to flutter less smoothly than it normally might.
@@tyczkersmordeczki Personally I love that she goes toe to toe with him especially when she did in Gimme Shelter years ago? It's obvious she has so much respect for him and how he and others have influenced her performance style.
I don't think Mick wants anyone he brings out on stage to wilt at his side. It'd make him feel like an old man who they're letting have his moment while he can and it'd be insulting to restrain yourself next to him.
It's only right to pay homage and tribute when you're a special guest next to that person. If they're bringing you out, they want you out there. Not you not trying.
But you have to admit that this extreme vibrato is pointing towards one thing: She cant hold a proper note for 4 seconds (neither can I, this is one reason why I am not singing…). This does not have anything to do with her not being a good/great musician. She simply cant sing :-)Not everybody who criticises is a hater. I just analyse.

@@jmsl910 I take your point , but I don't think Mick and the boys would ask Florence to sing with them if they didn't rate her very highly. Florence has been involved in the music scene now for around 12/13 years. The equivalent of the Stones in the mid 1970's.

the stones are like a time capsule thats been opened a 100 times. but also buried from a period of time that only then could they have produced. they were not just a product of the 60, the 60 were a product of them. i lived in the bay area in those days. there were the beatles, the who, CCR, and many other great bands we all knew would transcend the time . the beatles and the stones. if all is lost from the 60's dont let their work ever be forgotten. so if you ever get a chance to see the stones do it. they are more than individuals. they are greater than their sum and all it takes is keith or mick passing and we wont have the the real thing any longer. just memories from a time capsule that will never be opened again.
