*IMPORTANT:* For some reason, they added a weird limitation where you have to obtain legendaries/mythicals in a different way on Pokemon Home BEFORE being able to transfer them from Pokemon Go to Scarlet & Violet. So, if you want to bring in your Hoopa from Pokemon Go, you'll need to acquire a Hoopa a different way first.

Just noticed that when i tried to bring over my shiny gen 1 starters and my kingdra smh
I was about to point this out.
It's the same in SwSh.
So, I think the best legit way to enable GO-caught Meloetta and Hoopa is to touch trade with someone who has both from Gen 5-6. After that, the GO one should transfer from Home.
@@Moofydakidd Uhm, I think those (except Charmander) can't be transferred yet. Not until the DLC is out. Because I don't remember Kingdra on the list. 🤔

Yo i figured it out. Go into the trade section of HOME and just trade for doubles!
I tried it out with someone looking for a zamazenta traded the one i had from go for a Thundurus. Lo and behold i now i have two of them and BOTH of them can now be moved! Its a simple thing!
TRADE FOR DOUBLES OF WHAT YOU REALLY WANT!
You shouldn't have to do that to transfer pokemon though, that's why everyone here is confused by why it isn't working.
So do you have to have dlc on scarlet to get gen 1-4 pokemons or can you just transfer them to to scarlet and violet with home?

When you move em from pokemon go how does the iv/ev stats move over? I aint play go in a minite but isnt it weird with the perfects
Attack and Defense turns into Attack, SpAttack, Defense, and SpDefense.
Hp is the same.
But Speed is randomized. So, you can still get a mon with 0 speed even if it is 4* in GO (even if the rest IV will be Best/Fantastic).

It won't let me link my Nintendo to Pokemon home :(. Usually when I link a Nintendo account it shows my profile and Mii but when I do it for home it just shows the main email
Which Pokémon Home should you transfer shiny to? The one on Mobile, or the one on Switch?
They're both the same thing. Home let's you access more online features while switch is for in games moving

For some reason, when i try to sign in, the sign in button does not work. Nothing happens.

Bc of this, Pokemon Home on my second user profile is empty and I don’t have access to the Pokémon on my main user profile where I already beat the game.
Is there any way to connect Pokémon Home from the second user profile on my Switch to my Pokémon Go on my phone?
Every time I try this process, when I connect to my Nintendo Online account, it connects to my main user profile Pokemon Home account with all my Pokémon from completed games.
Can I get around the legendary/mythical limitation by transferring my mew from home to let’s go pikachu, back to home, and then transferring it to scarlet? Currently don’t have a 3ds to access my Sw/Sh and I don’t own d/p.
Maybe, I haven’t tested that. I’m leaning towards it probably wouldn’t work

I've tried to sign in with Nintendo but it tells me that I need to make sure my account is connected to a home app on my device, the problem is that my account is already connected..

So just to clarify. If you want your legendary/ mythical from GO. You will have to also have another one from another game, transfer that to home then SV( some people only have to transfer to home then they say they can transfer the one from GO 🤷🏽♂️), then open SV to register the data of said Pokémon. Then open home back up and you will then be able to transfer that Pokémon from GO over to SV
Stupid yes and I hope it’s a mistake they need to fix. As of now Pokémon Go dosent count as a registered file of your Pokémon in Home or something about its file I don’t know. Everyone needs to just report this to the service and hopefully it gets resolved

You need another Mewtwo from game like Pokemon Sword in Pokemon Home. Or if you transferred Mewtwo from Go to another game with Home, then you can transferred that to Pokemon Scarlet.

I'm trying to bring my Groudon from GO, but when I try to move it to scarlet it says The selected Pokémon brought over from Pokémon Go has not been obtained in this save file
So...wtf does that mean
For some reason they added a limitation where before being allowed to transfer it in, you need to have another Groudon in Home that isn’t from Pokémon Go.
@@YoKevdog well shit. But I may have a solution. There's a trade function in Home. Find someone willing to trade a Groudon for something else and there you have it. Thank god I didn't transfer my others in before I found this out.
