- This video showcases how I ACTUALLY completed the pokedex ONLY using surprise trade in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. All 400 Pokemon were obtained SOLELY by Surprise Trading, and this project took me over 5 months to complete from start to finish.

Tbh iron jugulis is probably the worst paradox form in my opinion? It just looks so uninspired and bland, they somehow made hydreigon look worse. Though i feel that way about all the violet paradox forms, they just look uninspired and bland compared to scarlet's paradoxes where they completely redesigned the pokemon instead of "This pokemon... but ROBOT!"
I'm also not a fan of robots though lol, I'll admit they are probably the coolest pokemon ever to people who enjoy robots

I know I didn't add it in to the vid, but I actually went there straight after all the cutscenes and got the shiny charm! Haha
@@CushYT I did a new play through after getting a living dex so I could get the shiny charm right away. Before I even got to Mesagoza I got a full odds shiny lol
@@EricBurns1 I feel like the odds are way higher than the stated 1/4000. I got a shiny Shinx right after Mesagoza, a shiny Impidimp in Lagtree, and a shiny Tentacruel in Blueberry Academy (which is postgame, granted, but the first two weren't). And with how many shinies are really hard to see, who knows how many I saw and just missed out on.

I do think the shinies without ad names are true shinies, since sometimes people will trade them to be nice or because they didn't need the extra - I do that with my extra shinies in PLA because I don't need like 11 shiny Dusclops lol
Same, I caught so many shiny eevees looking for a female one for my living dex I flooded the wonder trade with two boxes worth of shinies

I don't think I've ever seen a shiny on wonder/surprise trade that didn't have an ad name/OT... I just make up a new box for those called "JAIL" and keep them in there forever tbh
i always check if the og owner is the same as the person to give it then i see HOW it was caught. eggs or crystal caverns most likely not legit :)
@uruhaiP most of the shinie's I get in SwSh were hacks. Most in home wonder trade seem legit

Iron Hands is a popular tera raid Pokemon. I see them used a lot. They have access to belly drum and have boosted stats compared to Hyriama.

The crossover I didn’t expect. This was inspired by MandJTV and one of the Pokémon you traded was one of candyevies magnetmites.
I was actually about half way through making this when MandJTV made his vid, but the Magnemite was pretty cool in hindsight!

the scream tail shiny was also hacked, easy way to tell if its not by their name is the item they are holding, sword and shield had master balls on hacked mons and scarlet and violets typical hacked mon item is ability patch

1. A total wonder trades counter, in addition to the pokedex counter.
2. Caught 400 Pokemon before starting to complete a wonder trade living dex.
I know if would have been more effort, but would have loved these additions!

I completed Sun and Moon pokedex just by wonder trade for 90% of the time. That really is the easiest way to do it anymore. Hacked or not it really doesn't matter to me imo. Just don't use them in competitive online tournament battles.

Just so you know, scizor can be found in 5 star Tera dens. That’s how I got mine for the dex. And there’s a few others like palafin, Rabsca, and brambleghast which are also in 5 star Tera dens.

There were so many Iron Hands as cannot be bred and is commonly used on Trick Room teams, looks of people caught a lot of them hoping to get a 0 Speed IV one. Then they used the not "Not Good" ones to spread joy on the surprise trade, especially to Scarlet players.

answer as to why iron hands is so common in trades, its because people either shiny hunt for it [because you cant tell easily if its chrome and its not breedable] and its one of the by far best tera den mons

I surprise trade a lot and get a lot of those genned shinies, I've also filled out quite a chunk of my Dex from it. I try to send out things that either have tedious evolutions (Kingsgambit, Gholdengo, Pawmot etc) or spare shinies I've caught in Pokemon Go (I don't need 25 shiny Mareep Niantic)
