I was stunned when Obama White House alumni described it as the most accurate of all political tv shows. Like I knew political work was pretty abusive and brutal but I did not think it was this bad.

From what I've read, the show is written to satirize politicians on both sides of the aisle
Which is great, because practically everyone in the show (with the exception of Richard, Marjorie, Catherine, and a few others) are just horrible people in their own right
it's completely neutral, it's more focused on "people under extreme amounts of pressure" with a political backdrop. nobody is a good person and everyone is an asshole.
nah they are just kind of like the simpsons in their predictions of politics. which is why they had to end the show, they couldn't compete with the absurdity of real life politics.
they never meant to make a parody of any single politician or even party. it's about politics as a whole like the other comment said.
No, it is not, but have fun with your little retrofitting escapade.
