This is really the holy grail of live videos with Nick Barker during his time in Dimmu. He barely got to perform the songs from Death Cult Armageddon, and it's great to hear his version of the old songs. Best I've seen in my 16 years of having Dimmu be my favorite band.
The keyboard was more melodic in live performances than the studio version with the genious mustis , nowadays is just a shitty playback for the old songs !
u can tell the voice improvement of vortex between 99' and 01'-04', especially on the final section of Insight and the Catharsis... at 1:01:11 he couldn't reach that high note in 99'. In fact Death Cult Armageddon is the album where vortex reach the apex of his voice PS: this footage is priceless... there are only a few videos of Barker playing DCA songs... thx for the upload.
@@maharef starting from 2005, the band downtuned their music one whole step, so Vortex also sang lower notes. It sounded better in 2007 because it was less straining on the voice for him.
