Wow, finally a concert that was filmed perfectly. And the band is in top form here, even though Charlie isn't there. The drummer here, does a great job filling in, and he's a fellow leftie...respect! And Joey....man...he's awesome here. And Scottie is having fun as always. Great performance.

My daughter and her then waste of space boyfriend saw Anthrax open for Slayer a few years ago. Her boyfriend was twenty and my daughter was nineteen then. My daughter didn’t like Slayer and had no opinion on Anthrax prior to the show. After, however, she still digs on Anthrax but still not a fan of Slayer. What she couldn’t get over was how tight both bands were. Bug, my daughter, has seen many concerts in her life and still says the Anthrax and Slayer concert was the tightest concert she has ever seen. Bug likes pretty much everything. She loves bands like In This Moment, many rap acts, and many country acts. She did say at least it sounded like Anthrax, Slayer and one other band that was on before Anthrax, were playing live. The only thing Bug’s ex boyfriend ever did that worth a shit was take her to that concert. Me, I’m a big fan of both bands. I’m an 80s kid. 56 years old at this moment. And the first time I heard Anthrax it felt like I was kicked in the head. Fantastic boot to my brain. And Slayer sounded like Hell had its own house band. Blown away by all those bands back in the day. The 80s spoiled me. I also dig other rock bands accused of being metal. I still dig on Motley Crue, except live. Love Queensryche, Fates Warning, Crimson Glory, and too many others to mention, as well as so many real Punk Bands.
