Caleb, i‘ve really enjoyed your videos recently! all other luxury-bag-type youtubers have these long unnecessary intros, want to sell these earrings no one cares for, talk lengthy about their other things they want to sell, and i just can’t with that at the moment. i know they need to make a living or just extra cash for the bag addiction, but it’s tiring and makes me skip their videos. i really appreciate your way of talking and going over the topics and just your insights❤ thank you for being!
Caleb, this is such a great idea for a video! Both trendy and nostalgic. I absolutely love my Celine nano luggage tote that I still wear even though she isn’t an it bag anymore.😅 and I’m very excited for the multicolor Louis Vuitton to have its resurgence. I think perhaps maybe the Givenchy nightingale and some of those old Chloe bags that you mentioned will be popular again. I still have my little Chloe Drew so maybe I can pull her out😂
Thank you, Sofia! It was a ton of fun to look back at the older styles too! I noticed your red Luggage in one of your recent videos in the background- it's gorgeous, I love that color! I could definitely see the Nightingale making a come-back. Givenchy had so many hits during that era- Nightingale, Pandora etc. And definitely pull your Drew out, those are so cute!
People have said that the fendi spy bag is going to come back for years and I just don’t see it. I love the bag but I think it will take fendi re-releasing it for it actually to pick up speed!
I love the Celine Luggage Tote. I have a tricolor suede and leather one. I hope they come back around. It was such an iconic bag. I can also see the Trapeze and Phantom come back in style.
Caleb, love this type of video! Thank you! Melissa Soldera used to do these before she exited RUclips, and I always enjoyed hearing her predictions of which vintage bags were going to be red hot soon (so get them now!). I only buy preloved and much prefer vintage bags over almost anything that’s new, so it’s awesome to see some styles from years gone by coming back into fashion again. My first Louis Vuitton bag was a Tivoli GM, and though I have continued to carry her during the mini bag era, I’m stoked that larger bags are becoming more “in” again … she’s right back in style! ❤
Thank you, Red! I miss her prediction videos, they were always so fun! The Tivoli is absolutely fabulous! I remember when the released the Trevi along with the Tivoli, and those bags are stunning!
Caleb……the YSL Downtown tote. I even saw a couple at the YSL store brand new in Tokyo. I gotz mine and have been sporty it as of late. Lovin it! Yes Caleb I agree the multi color and all the Marc Jacob LV is on point. In my opinion that is when LV was killing it with the bags. I have the east west in yellow and brown velvet with Crocodile trim. Such a keeper. Anytime I wear it I get mucho compliments. Keep the vids coming!
You are so right! The multi-color and the Marc Jacobs era was the best! And I'm happy to hear you're loving YSL Downtown! And don't worry- I'll keep the videos coming!
I’m just waiting for the “quiet luxury” trend to go away and die. Might just be me, but I’m sticking by my statement. I have a leather fringe shoulder bag that I bought in the early 2000s (not luxury) that I need to check out the condition. I used to love that handbag.
It's always fun to rediscover a classic, I love falling back in love with bags in the back of my closet. And I agree, I'm ready for fun flamboyant styles to come back into trend!
I actually love older bags. They are very well made. I have been rocking designer bags since I was 14. I remember my mother dragging me to Gucci on Saturdays when it was located around 600 N Michigan Avenue. I’m 51 now. To say this, the bags that are out now don’t hold a candle to the stuff that is made then. It’s comical to pay for things made now that you remember was better quality, less saturated, and cheaper. I have some Marc Jacobs Stella’s, and Blake’s that are lined in suede. Those bags are almost 20 years old.
Great video - I love how in-depth you've gone into all of these!!! It's cool to see all the trends I wasn't aware of, and it helps me see them myself when I look at handbags. Also, speaking of it-bags, I was wondering whether you've covered the YSL Sac de Jour - it strikes me as a very quiet down-low classic that's been around for a while, and I'm considering getting one, so I'd love to hear your thoughts if you've encountered it. Thanks for all the videos!!
Thank you so much! The YSL Sac de Jour was on my wishlist for the longest time. And I always finds myself looking at them whenever I'm in YSL too. I think they're a great bag!
I don’t care how “old and forgotten” Murakami Multicolore is, I will continue to rock that in 2084 if my bags are still in good condition. I would LOVE to own a Spy bag ❤
Well there’s at least 2/3 I have in my collection two of which are in my unboxing purgatory 😅. I guess I’ll need to work on finding those and getting a a video recorded. I’m set on the green too with my new Dooney yay I’m ready. TFS 👛🛍️🚢🦆🙏
Those Fendi spy bags are a bit problematic because of the hardware. The super cute lipstick holder doesn't stay shut and it cannot be repaired. Also all that beautiful braiding and knot work likes to come undone. I say that with love because I have one and refuse to get rid of it but they really need to do a re-issue that, the vintage ones are delicate.
Shhh 🤫 don’t tell people about the Amazona! It’s a great bag but you have to really check the condition on the preloved because they show wear and not in a good way. The preloved prices have been sadly on the rise but deals can be had usually from Japan.
Haha! I'm sorry! I'll try not to spoil the Amazona. And that's good to know about the wear- the Boogie is the same way. And thank you for the Japan tip!
What are your predictions for IT bags to return?
I feel like you’re probably right about these bags coming back. As I have personally seen myself, your instincts are usually correct 😊
The city bag is coming back. I am trying to get one as we speak lol
I hear ya! I try to keep it simple and focused, and I appreciate you noticing! I hope you're having a great week!
I’m really loving vintage designer bags right now especially given all the price increases. Love this video. Keep them coming❤
Thanks for watching! I’m loving the vintage vibe too!
Caleb, this is such a great idea for a video! Both trendy and nostalgic. Loving this video. It is literally a tip on how to shop pre-loved in a way that is reliant. ❤❤❤❤
Glad you liked it!!
People have said that the fendi spy bag is going to come back for years and I just don’t see it. I love the bag but I think it will take fendi re-releasing it for it actually to pick up speed!
I agree. I love the spy bag but most of them on the pre-loved market look dated and of that era. It needs a revamp
You might be right- many are a little dated looking. But occasionally you can find a hidden gem!
I dont see it either lol. Same with the old Celine bags lol just no! But then again i am not a big fan of celine
I want one, it’ll come back eventually
Great video Caleb! Really interesting concept and I enjoyed your selections!
Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it!
Great video. I wouldn’t mind picking up the Loewe bag.
I hope you can find one at a good price!
I love the Celine Luggage Tote. I have a tricolor suede and leather one. I hope they come back around. It was such an iconic bag. I can also see the Trapeze and Phantom come back in style.
I agree, those are some really iconic bags! I hope the Trapeze comes back too.
I saw a small yellow one photographed recently in a street style page and it suddenly looked relevant again!
Love the list Caleb! 🥰 Yass to the Celine luggage bag! It’s one of my favorite Phoebe Philo bags.
Thank you, Jamie! The Luggage is so good!
This is probably my favorite topic 😂 I have to say I just picked up a small vintage Loewe Amazona and the leather is SO good.
That sounds amazing! I love how the vintage bags are holding their value.
LV Manhattan from early 2000s is on my list! I also picked up a vintage Chloe Edith.
That’s a great choice! The Manhattan is an excellent bag.
Viva the Spy! And the Fendi To You Convertible Clutch (I have on in black suede/black leather) and it's sooooo good.
The convertible clutch is so chic!
Love my Gucci Blooms pieces
Me too! I really regret not getting a bag in that print!

That suede Chloe Paraty - why are you putting ideas in my head?!! lol
Haha! It's so fabulous!
Yes love the Gucci Blooms!!
Hands-down my favorite Gucci collection ever. It was perfection!
The Givenchy nightingale -slouchy and dome shape.I have the updated one.I see that coming back.Tom Ford large Jennifer bag
These are both great picks!
I love the luggage bag. I’ve got one and I’m contemplating another one. I love it made this list! Love Gucci blooms too🥰
It's the perfect timeless shape!
Caleb……the YSL Downtown tote. I even saw a couple at the YSL store brand new in Tokyo. I gotz mine and have been sporty it as of late. Lovin it! Great video! Thanks for researching and sharing!
You're welcome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! I think the LV Passy tote could be a candidate for the Margot/coach buckled large tote trend, was just tempted by this today!
Great idea!! The Passy was such a great bag!
Enjoyed the Yesterday's It Bags Vid Caleb :)
I'm glad you liked it! I love looking back on those iconic bags!
Honestly the regular Hermes Victoria ii is top tier!! I can't wait to get one!!!
It's a great bag!
I love window shopping 🤩
Me too!
Youre a great salesperson. I'm so sold I'll take them all
Hahaha! Thank you so much!
Great video ❤😊
Thank you!
@CalebSnell your welcome

You’re totally right about the quality! I feel like brands are cutting corners these days!

It will be interesting if you re-visit this video in 12-18 months and see what has happened! Thank you!
I'll definitely be checking back in on these trends!
Marc Jacobs Louis Vuitton handbags are my favorites from the brand ❤😊
Same! They're gorgeous!
@CalebSnell yes they are!
Oh no I'm trying to snag a good deal on a Spy bag in the UK, don't let out the secret that they're amazing 😝😄
Haha! Mums the word! 🤫
Omg...i just picked up the Loewe Amazona bag in brown suede for around $400...can't wait to sport this bag this fall/winter 👜🤎
That's awesome!! The Amazona is such a cool bag, and brown suede is going to be perfect for this fall/winter!
I don’t care how “old and forgotten” Murakami Multicolore is, I will continue to rock that in 2084 if my bags are still in good condition. I would LOVE to own a Spy bag ❤
Same!! The Multicolore will forever be iconic!
I heard they are re-releasing the LV multicolour in January
What about the Balenciaga City? You sold all of yours? They are very hyped up right now
They were gorgeous bags! Just sadly, not my style any more.
Well there’s at least 2/3 I have in my collection two of which are in my unboxing purgatory 😅. I guess I’ll need to work on finding those and getting a a video recorded. I’m set on the green too with my new Dooney yay I’m ready. TFS 👛🛍️🚢🦆🙏
You have such great taste in bags! I'm dying to see what you have in the purgatory!
@@CalebSnell your so sweet thank you
What about the balenciaga city bags?
They're fabulous bags!

That's really good to hear- I'm glad to hear you still love your Spy, but it's good to know that they're more delicate than they look.
Shhh 🤫 don’t tell people about the Amazona! It’s a great bag but you have to really check the condition on the preloved because they show wear and not in a good way. The preloved prices have been sadly on the rise but deals can be had usually from Japan.

I’ve been so put off by LV lately. Use to be one of my favorites…
Same here!
