Nice video...well done. One tip for other people who want to visit some of them: during hot weather most of the falls will have tourists climbing all over them and swimming in the pools at the bottom (yes, people are injured or killed doing that). Best time is Spring after the leaves are out or Fall when trees are in color.
Great video, thank you for sharing I'm a big fan of the waterfalls and I absolutely love North Carolina and I've been to a couple of state parks they are spectacular... thanks guys ✌️
Hey guys! Was doing a little research for an upcoming waterfall trip and found your video! You were at many of my favorites! And I couldn't help but laugh.....Rainbow falls kicked out butt.....but what a beautiful fall for sure. Thanks for sharing! -Laurie
@@BillEricPhotography oh I know! I LOVE it up there. Nancy and I drove the entire Blue Ridge Parkway back in June and like you guys barely scratched the surface. Planning on going back next month for a few days and focusing on the area around Brevard/Asheville. Hoping for some fall color since we don’t get much of that at all down here in Florida.
That’s a great plan. It’s funny the more we explore new places, the more we’re like “wow there’s so many amazing places we never knew about”, so much to see and do and just not enough time to do it!
Great video. Wisiting the impressive lakes in the Blue Ridge Mountains or the Smoky Mountianos of North Carolina is a great way to spend a few days. Many of North Carolina's waterfalls are close to quaint mountain town of Asheville. Some of the cities you may want to plan your itinerary are Hendersonville , Highlands,Brevard, Bryson City or Cherokee.
@@BillEricPhotography I think that that will definitely be on the list since it leads up to Mount LeConte as well right? There is a ton of places to hike and explore on my channel that might interest you. Would love to hear your feedback!
We were there in late October. The foliage is tricky because it’s obviously different each year. There are several online foliage forecasts and we looked through all of them. None were exactly right but it turned out ok.
Some really beautiful falls guys. The photos are terrific. When you were shooting video, where you shooting 30fps or using 24fps with ND filters? Thanks.
Been to many of these this past year...I’ve got a bunch more marked on google maps for the coming year. That triple falls is impressive in person, I found it difficult to photograph. Gaia gps is an excellent tracking app on the phone so you can find your way back.
Love the video! One of my main goals when I travel the southern east coast area is to find falls. Besides Google, how did you find the more hidden falls?? Asking locals? Specific websites/books? Thank you.
Thank you! The book North Carolina Waterfalls by Kevin Adams is the best waterfall book we have ever used, it covers all of the falls and describes each in detail and how to get there.
Bro you messed up big time at gorgeous state park, I think that’s the biggest waterfall in the state but you have to continue hiking to the top of that waterfall and then there is another waterfall and it looks like a turtle back and people slide down into Lagoon, then you continue on down the path and you will come to a enormous cascading waterfall that Hass to be 100 foot. This is my favorite place to go hike I’ve been going here for 15 years and it’s worth the hour long walk downhill I don’t know about the two hour long uphill 😂 na jk its epic. And the locals call it Turtleback ✌🏼🐉🇺🇸🐉🤙🏼
I'm surprised to see that you missed Linville Falls (Linville Gorge) and Pearson Falls (near Tryon NC) Nice vid though. ruclips.net/video/ZrFVCspyHHM/видео.html ruclips.net/video/lFWLdhHgldo/видео.html
Nice list! I've been to all but 3, which I now need to add to my list.
There are sooo many waterfalls in NC!
Beautifal falls! I'm a big fan of the NC waterfalls and have been to 6 of these. Now you've given me a bucket list. Thanks for sharing.
Happy to help! Beautiful part of the country!
Thank you! My boyfriend said he wanted to take a look at the waterfalls in nc, so now I know where the best ones are.
Happy to help! Enjoy them!
Thanks, that was very helpful. I'll be there in mid October.
Have a great trip!
Beautiful scenes and great images. Looks like you guys had a great time. Thanks for sharing.
There are so many waterfalls in North Carolina, it’s a great place to visit!
Fabulous images and locations, thanks for showing them 👍😊
Thanks for watching!
Good photos! I have visited all of them some of them numerous times. You should look into the Carolina Mountain Club's 100 Waterfall Challenge!
Unfortunately we aren't local so we would have to plan another trip. We would both love to hit another 10 or 15 !
Living just outside of Charlotte Ihave been to some of those falls but can’t wait to check out the rest of them
There are so many!!
As a Canadian I'm unlikely to ever get to any of these falls but I still enjoyed your adventure. Thanks for the videos.
Thanks for watching!

Great music. I will add these to my list on my frequent times in NC.
Definitely worth a visit!

Hi Laurie! Yes Rainbow falls was a tough one! So many great spots in that part of NC we barely scratched the surface, now we can’t wait to go back!

Thanks for the input. We are currently planning our next little fall outing and still haven't decided where we are heading yet.
@@BillEricPhotography 🙂👍
Very nice. Can’t wait to get there. What shutter speed was used?
For the video about 60
For the photos usually about 5 seconds
Excellent video! Thank you for sharing all of these awesome waterfalls in NC! Which waterfall is your favorite? Now following!
Rainbow falls was probably the most grand and it had the hardest hike to go along with it. So for me that was the best part of the day. Bill

We will check it out thanks!
@@BillEricPhotography Awesome! Hope you discover some new places to film. Look forward to reading your feedback. Cheers
Beautiful waterfalls pictures and love the fall, when did you go? How do you check that the fall folliage will be there ahead of time? Thanks

@@BillEricPhotography I thought you probably were as well, but wasn't sure if it was the RUclips compression or not. Thanks.

Totally agree about triple falls! Gaia sounds like something we need to look into, thanks!
@@BillEricPhotography Courthouse Falls is another nice one if you don't mind driving on a long dirt road.

What? No disney falls? 😜
Not this time! Maybe we’ll do a Waterfalls of Disney World video!!
@@BillEricPhotography I'm gonna have to go to Disney this year. It's only an hour and a half away. Where are the falls? Do the video!
