This was my favorite game show to watch back when they were shown. Nice to watch and bring back memories.
Greed does terrible things to people. The woman who won the motorcycle and the car nearly leaped out of her skin with excitement to see what she had won, and yet only a minute later she agreed to trade it all away for something even better. The same goes for the man who won the kitchen appliances. He ended up with fewer appliances than he had in his original deal. Why are some things just not good enough for some people?

It wasn't greed, she told Monty, they just bought a new car so that was a good practical move for her. Monty made a mention that you have a new car to pull the trailer with.

The prizes on the old Monty Hall version are nicer.

This, to me, is the best game show ever. I'd much rather watch these ancient episodes than anything currently being produced.
The guy who picked door #1 looked like Mike "Meathead" Stivic. And no way would I give up a Camero.
I wonder if they did testing to ensure that the contestants were “screamers”?
How funny - we used to call the over-exuberant contestants "screamies" when I was a kid!

I kind of wished Monty had asked that guy who won the two pairs of shoes if he wanted to trade them away. That was a little bit of a drag that he walked(no pun intended) away with just shoes.

He committed suicide in 89, my wife also did in 2016. Sad. On a positive note Carol Merrill is still with us and she's still good looking for 80, nice body and long brown hair.

I always wondered why people on game shows get excited to win pianos or organs.Unless you can play one, they aren't going to be of any use.I wouldn't want any.I like Monty Hall's version much better than the current one.It's fun to see which thing the chosen will take, and what is behind the curtains.

The Vega was a huge piece of crap. Blown head gaskets all day long. Verna had quite a rack there.
