Respect to all the captains that joined in . Awesome video. Loved it man .
Enjoyed this format. Thanks Ernie!
I find these absolutely fascinating, so much knowledge in half an hour.
I like these videos. Love that you bring local talent to your channel and talk real fishing. Thank you
Your reports are so informative and helpful. I send all your content to my cousins on Marathon. Love your channel and your talented beautiful wife by your side. ❤
Good stuff man. I really enjoy the content. Thank you

Love these! Keep it up
Keep em comin!!
Love these as much as the other content!
One realizes how much effort and intelligence it takes to be a successful captain.
FWIW was up Jupiter in March and the vermillions were biting. Also got my first almaco jack.
Very cool to hear real world fishing stories. 👍👍
Enjoy these videos. Docks is awesome, been going there since they opened.
Thanks for the update. Wife and I were in town all last week. We ate there and enjoyed it. Unfortunately the wind was bad so didn’t get to do much fishing. We will be back for grouper opening.
Dock talk is a GREAT IDEA!
Would actually like to see it weekly (on Friday's for example).
This would give you an opportunity to give fishing reports and to PROMOTE good Charters.
If I were a Charter Captain I would cherish the opportunity.
Aaron, The Docks is the first place we stopped on our way to our place on BPK. Thank you for showing us. 5 ⭐️’s! Great segment by the way.
Awesome content capts.
Another awesome video Sir.
Always fun... thanks
Great info! as always....
Great job
Capt talk Ever Sunday🎉❤🎉❤
Thanks 😊
Great reports!
It would be cool to get a tour of the restaurant.
Thank you for all you do. You’ve motivated me to get advanced scuba certifications and I have my 3rd spear gun coming!
Good stuff.
Love it! We love the Docks! Great food! ….and they carry our Marry Mix ( Bloody Mary).
Bear and Burtons Marry Mix
Great bumping into you at the WPB boat show! I was the
guy who said I like your channel cause it wasnt dumb.
Haha we strive to be not dumb over here. Appreciate it 🙏🏻
I love this kind of thing, and it’s a cool move to pump up your buddies’ charter businesses. Might be cool to do a meet up at the docks when they’re coming back in to see the catch and hear the tales.
The last thing a captain wants is to be filmed, bugged while still working. Which i totally get. Like to finish the day out with their clients, filleting fish and such.
Hello. Having been going to the Keys since the 70’s I have had many great places to fish without a boat. That being said, I would suggest looking for some shallow places along the mangroves that you can wade. As I said, I have been doing that for years and the fishing is amazing. One great place to go is at the end of the 7 mile bridge at the boat ramp called “Little Duck Key”. You can wade to your left as you look at the water which is shallow and the juvenile tarpon and mangrove snapper fish is great. So now do me a favor. Don’t tell anyone as this is a secret spot. There are soooo many other places to fish other than the bridges. Enjoy.
Absolutely love these! Even if it works out to be quarterly, keep these going!!!
Monthly is the plan! 🙏🏻
Great stuff! Kite and mullet mud!!! Gotta try that
Can’t wait May 1st is my birthday!!! I took May 2nd and 3rd off and booked a charter off Islamorada! I can only hope to get on em! I also have a trip on the Yankee Captain later in the month also as a b-day present to myself! Maybe I will catch ya when I’m down there! Keep the videos coming love your content!
Cool video!
I really enjoy these videos. Sorry we don’t have the place on Big Pune anymore!
Respect to all those captains. Love that! 👍👌♥️ Is there any other information on the spinning dying fish's?
No updates yet unfortunately, at least i haven’t heard any
@@KeyWestWaterman as that stopped , or is it still going on?
I like these videos.
Cool. I depend on the local captains here in Myrtle Beach to help with diving here. We dont have the beautiful, all year round diving and fishing so they are a huge help.
I'm sure it's hard to get the local experts together for a "Strat Chat" and I must commend you. These discussions are flat out amazing. #LocalKnowledge
Would love to see Capt Alex Harmon with salt creek charters! He was a great captain.
G baby da man!
Hello. May I ask? After having throat cancer removal surgery, and going through all the recovery, etc a little over 2 years ago, my Beloved and I came down to Marathon and stayed at the Skipjack Resort in early April 2023. The plan for the vacation was a complete fishing trip for 5 days. We were able to fish from most of the bridges, and I caught my biggest fish ever with a fishing rod too. (It was only a 3 lb-ish Mangrove Snapper. But for me, that's my biggest fish ever. All other fishes caught are at the fairgrounds, and they're only goldfish in a bag lol). The MAIN issue I have is I suffer from Grand Mal Epilepsy, so we need to base our fishing spots as close to where we can park our car. But during our vacation the roadsides were mainly taped off because they were being repaired due to the storm damages that came through. Are the road side potential parking spots for fishing locations reopened now, or are the still a no-go for road side fishing. Thank you for your video uploads, because everyone makes me want to packthe car and had to the Keys again. Thank you for any feed back you may provide to my inquiry. Best regards to you and your 👍
I spend a lot of time in the Keys. Was there all last week. All the road side/bridge fishing is open.
The best fishing is from the bridges for the most part but there should be places near them where you can cast from shore open. To be honest those kinds of barricades and tapes blocking things can stay up for a long time in the Keys.... not the greatest amount of work and cleanup goes on down there. 😅 Good luck.
I’m a commercial fisherman down here make sure you take a gram of RSO for the rest of your life. They have been dumping Lake Okeechobee water so bad this year there’s a brown slime in the surf.
@@drjimb0311 RSO?

Another great Dock Talk! If there’re any musicians out there, this needs a theme song 🎶
This is cool! "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay"🍺or is it "Beer time in Margaritaville"?🤔Memphis, 10
You should do a video on throwing a net . Several u tubers in the keys need a lesson .
more of this please!!
Once a month, will keep them comin
Great video brother. Hey just a thought, do you have any mics you can use? Zack is very soft spoken (haha) but with the background noise it may help for the viewer's sake. Keep up the great work!
Injoy the interviews have you thought of going to the boat location for some of the interviews that seem to be to busy to come to your location.
It’s a big no no to bug captains while they are still with clients, fileting fish, cleaning the boat etc. It was one of my biggest pet peeves, would rather not do it to others.
Great info!! I only dream of fishing off shore. I'm a chicken. Had a bad experience years ago, and I can't get up the nerve to go again.
Hey man, im coming down in September and going to do some bridge fishing since im land locked but any idea what goes on around the bridges that time of year??
I fished king of the beach last year with my boy Capt Zach George of wet lines in Clearwater and fished an inshore slam tournament the day before lol. Whole lot different from the bass derbs lol 😂😂😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the report Captain ! Always entertaining.
Let me know if you need any Sam Adams !
:-)
Haha glad you enjoyed it!
@@KeyWestWaterman Yepper! Always good stuff from the KWW !
Coming down May 12th -19th to Marathon with 2 19ft key west boats one Sportsman 1 bay reiff. what are some good fish to hope to see around that time. Thanks,
I like it!!!
When do you guys see the most mahi?
Our mahi fishing has really crashed over the past few years. but they normally start around mid April and may.
OBB wahoo charity cup is roughly 7-8 years old.
I'd be curious to see a discussion with charter captains about their experience with this spinning fish disease since they're out on the water a lot
Great picture of Madilyn with that cobia
Great
Nice vid Aaron, would you please ask Zack, why he hasn’t been downloading any videos?
Thanks bud🙏
Any commercial guys down there you can interview besides charters? Been hearing this years stone crab season has been one of the best
Random question, do you know David Yoder or Matt Johnson by chance? Used to guide with them in AK and they were Caps down there in the winter. I believe Matt only spent a little time in the keys then moved to Islamorada. Had to ask. Good content as usual.
I can't say that I do, alot of seasonal guides down this way.
@@KeyWestWaterman long shot for sure. I'm sure there are more than enough. Thanks for the reply bro.
I am planing a trip for key west and plan on fishing. My question is what is a good tip at the end of the trip?
most captain would be thrilled with 20% thats kind of the average. but its all situational.
@@KeyWestWaterman thank you
Saw on another spear fishing channel that he was using a white item put on the spear that seems to stuns the fish. no fight, just fall over dead?
Power head
👍👍
Thanks as always!
2nd episode Fishing report love it! Finally a real fishing channel and the applies both rod and free diving nice to hear about both!! Great conversations . But it be a real bonus if you can get your guest to speak about what gear they all use and for which types of fish ??? Maybe on your next episode. 👍👍👍
When Zack says "My month picked up out of nowhere" in regards to his charters, I wonder how much the last Fishing Report episode had to do with that. lol When 10's of thousands of people see ya its amazing how busy things can get! :D
Not to promote drinking BUT! I can see this series being a Captains corner Long Tales, Scary moments, boat issues etc I Enjoy the series
Mr. Barrios the goat
What's the latest on spinning fish ?
Fishing report!!!!!
Thanks for watchin!
Booked with Garrett for a 2 day trip after last one you did
🙏🏻 I hope it went well, Garrett is good people!
@@KeyWestWaterman I go in July
Why does everybody down there wear the same lense color for glasses? That bright bluish tent...
You should go spear a permit now just because you brought it up, fist chance you get.
What’s May 1st?
Any problems with pythons in the keys?? i
I’ve never seen one down here but I’m close to the bottom
does anybody ever just put a dead bait back for sharks, hook em, let them swim away hooked on medium drag and get them outta picture?? or is always more than one causing problem so that not help much?
Do any of your capt friends do trips to pulley ridge? Not the Yankee capt....
Yea email me info@keywestwaterman.com
I thought Sharks in Florida were Extinct? LOLOLOL
Stock island waterman
Why does everyone call Stock Island Key West? IT"S NOT.
The addresses read key west all the way up to Saddle bunch technically i believe. with the same area code. 🤷🏼♂️
Viking boat owners “running out of things to do”…Hilarious! All that money and being bored.
bah, boring after all those glorious videos!
Gotta throw some stinkers in there to keep everything balanced
