Are you able to set the volume above level 18-ish with this setup? I have the same configuration and my dash speakers with bass blockers will clip and the limiter LED on the amp flashes when I set my volume that high. It’s very annoying 😖
I clicked the link provided below... Was this the "KIT 11 - KICKER KEY 200.4 AMP"? The price for that one is showing as $410.00. Is that correct? I'm asking because I'm thinking about making this addition to my Bronco. I've already replaced all (6) stock speakers with all Kicker CS. I also have the 12" Kicker downfiring sub with Radiator and its own 400W amp. But, my (6) Kicker replacement speakers are just running on the stock power from the head unit.
@@rendiewmit86 No. I've been really happy with my system, so I haven't purchased this unit just yet. But, if I were starting over, I would start with this amp and the stock speaker replacements then go from there.
How are you liking your amp after a few months. I just installed my key 200.4 in my bronco today. I’m not impressed… I’m depressed. I think the factory head sounds cleaner without it. The limiting leds come on before the volume is louder than the factory head by itself. I’m bummed.
@@anthonyxzavior5775 I figured it out. With the front right and left channels having two four ohm speakers in them it was giving the amp a two ohm load and causing it to overheat any anything over volume level 14. I changed the dash and kick panel speakers to component speakers with a crossover and it now sounds fantastic!
@@hughcrunk378- which speakers did you go with? I have Infinity Reference - 4" (87mm) coaxial car speaker Power Handling - 35W RMS, 75W peak Sensitivity (@ 2.83V) - 92dB Frequency Response - 75Hz - 21kHz Impedance 3.0 ohms - just swapped in the 300 hz blockers (Crutchfield sold me the 600 back in Aug 2021).
@@marbledmeatshop I had Rockford Fostgate R165X3’ for the kick panels and Polk audio DB402’s in the dash and rear pods. Sounded great with the head unit alone but overheated the amp and sounded like crap. I did not put any limiters in. I swappped them out with Memphis PRX60C components with a crossover and put the key into bi amp. Sounds fantastic now but the rears are only a nuance. I want to do something to them and maybe add a sub. ruclips.net/video/yBYeUyhm_B8/видео.html
One of the best and thorough explanations. You are a great instructor.
Where did you get the instructions? and info on how to configure DSP? your video is great
Where did you get the diagram from with the instructions and clip locations to remove the panels? Thanks
Nice black bay
Where did you get the harness? Talking with crutchfield they have no idea! Can you tell me where you purchased that? I have 22 bronco 4dr badlands.
Can you share the links where you got the amp & harness?
Good video.
If I read other questions n reply’s right.
You have kicker speakers as well?
Could you post what speakers you have ?
Where did you get the T-Harness? Thanks.

Were you able to correct the limiter problem? mine is doing the same at about 19-20 volume .. a bit disappointing :(
has anyone solved this problem? I cant turn up the volume over 17. super lame
where did you get your harness?
The front doors in the tweeters share a channel

Yes it is Kit 11
@@swmrdrn Awesome thanks!... I got it saved. I'll definitely be adding this either to my current build, or my next one.
@@PicklerEntertainment did you get this kit installed?

How did you end up getting those last 2 clips? They look like a pain and I was already planning on replacing just speakers but might do amp too.
How is this kit doing? This harness includes power and ground correct?
Great video and thanks for sharing! Even though the amp is a four channel do you feel it feeds all 6 speakers? How’s the bass out of the rear pods?
The kick panel speakers and the dash speakers are wired together. Those 4 speakers are only 2 channels.
Will this work on the B&O system Bronco?

Could be limiting output because of the base speakers.. Idk I've had great luck with these little amps. They are a game changer
