Hi, Thanks for your informative video. I want to take the upgrade another step further, and install my old HDD in a hard disk bracket and install it in place of DVD ROM, Do I need to disconncet the battery to do that?

but yet the PC is Too slow and lags. whenever I try to use OBS and chrome and it takes almost 5-10 mins to do anything after turning it on .

So I have this exact computer, it’s about 5 years old now but I haven’t touched it in 2.
Should I remove the hard drive and upgrade it to SSD, and put in 16g of ram instead of the 4g
Or should I save and buy a new laptop? It used to play Skyrim and other games no problem
Should be ok if the graphics was good enough for you unless you play more graphic intense games now.

Really? I decided to search for the manual of this laptop on Lenovo's website and ended up finding it. It says there, unbelievably (which sounded absurd to me), that the maximum supported SSD capacity for this laptop model would be 128GB, a ridiculously small number. I feel more relieved when I see you say that there are no limits. Therefore, I think an SATA SSD of 1TB would be ideal for me after all.

The connector to the HD, that is, the “wire”, got loosened because the connector was stuck onto the hardware (HD), and the wire disconnected from the Motherboard. How to reconnect it? Thanks.

Hi. I have same laptop like in this video. The problem is, when I install the ssd ( silicon power 2.5 ssd sata 3) the laptop stuck with lenovo logo and cannot enter bios. But After remove the ssd, can enter bios. Hope you can help
