Steam Is Back on the East Broad Top Railroad! Chasing EBT 16 To and From Orbisonia

- A couple weeks ago, the EBT announced that it had finished restoration of #16, built by Baldwin in 1916, to working condition, meaning that it would be making its first revenue service run since 1956, on February 18, 2023. In case you do not know what the EBT is, it's a 3ft narrow gauge railroad chartered in 1865, origionally running from Mt Union, where it would interchange with the Pennsylvania Railroad, to other mines and industries south. Now its route only is from the Orbisonia Station to Cottage Grove, with small track sections south for speeder and M-3 rides (we don't talk about M-3). Thank you so much to the hard-working volunteers at @EastBroadTopRailroad who put countless hours of effort into restoring this historical locomotive!

Very nice! I haven't for the EBT, however I did donate to the Rockhill Trolley Museum, I always love to support historical railroad operators like this.
