    In India during my youth, waking up in the train , sometimes in dlsow light or darkness as the lghts would be switched off by the passengers to sleep, heaing the engine would be like feeling alive.... A feeing only a steam engine passenger would know... the engineers and firemen were really hardy people.... No toughie could match them, their palm grips were like steel vices, even shaking hands was difficult..

    Fun fact I didn't learn until many years after first watching this DVD, the whistle mounted on 6325 when these scenes were being shot is an old Pennsylvania Railroad 3 chime, the same kind used on the K4s, J1s, M1bs and I1sa's to name a few... The specific whistle that 6325 had was mounted on a T1, and is now owned by the T1 trust.
    If you close your eyes, it's almost like listening to the final cries of a long extinct type of locomotive.. The sound is probably pretty close, too, as 6325 probably isn't much smaller than a T1, and the boiler pressure would probably be very similar.
    Also... for the love of god, can somebody please tell me the music they used for the EBT part? I've been trying to find it for years.

      Railway Productions doesn’t appreciate their music to RUclips

    • @magnusrylander
      @magnusrylander 3 года назад +4

      I don't think there was actually music at that point, but I have the DVD so I'll go check. Just for the record I think he did that just to be safe. To what I can tell railway productions doesn't actually mind people reposting videos and clips of them because I've seen so many, unlike most company's (*cough* dysney, nintendo*cough*) where it you put their stuff in your videos and they hit you with copyright strikes. But I don't know though. I could be wrong

    • @magnusrylander
      @magnusrylander 3 года назад +4

      So it turns out that there is music there, but as I said before, I don't think railway productions minds people reposting their work. I believe that the people that railway productions bought the licensing from is the one that is copyrighting, not railway productions. But then again, I could be wrong, but this time I'm 99.98% sure I'm right. This is because it makes no sense to copyright one part of the video than the whole thing.

    • @magnusrylander
      @magnusrylander 3 года назад +4

      @King of Love Train i'm starting to wonder if RUclips just copyrighted the music itself. The way the system works is a copyright ID comes in and figured out that it's a copyrighted song, then slams you with the copyright infringement sticker of shame. I've heard it happen many times where a company that is no longer existent owns a song but can't copyright it is used on a video but is still copyrighted. (I hope that made sense)
