Thanks for the video. But I still don't know how to raise/elevate an existing ground level road and turn it into a bridge. I guess it's just not possible (or only with another shitload of mods). The best way to do it is to build it as a bridge from scratch. This involves a lot of deleting old roads and hassling with the unhelpful node/snap model of this game. Why do they make it so hard to do one of the most important things in a city builder game?
You can raise a road by pressing Page Up (or Page down to lower it) .. I somehow assumed this to be known when I made the video so totally failed to tell it - sorry. Of course if you want to raise/lower an EXISTING road, all you need is the move-it mod - and it will work with already placed roads. Just activate movieit, select the "node" you wanna lower/raise and press Page Up/Down. With the Move It Tool you can also move nodes around or change the curvature of the road
You can do that with the Road Anarchy Mod - there is a toggle button in teh Road Anarchy Window to keep the terrain at the road. Using MoveIt Mod you can do it with existing roads - if they are not elevated the terrain should move with it vertically when you select the node and press PageUp/Down
Buttons you are looking for is "page up" and "page down", thank me later.

I came to see *HOW* to elevate a road. You did everything except to explain this. What and where do I press to elevate the road?
Found another video where it was explained. You press Fn + up / down key.

Same. I've tried the + key but it still just says stuff is already built here. We need basic video without DLC or mods nonsense.
Ah, it's pg up and pg down keys once you've started making the road/rail. Dumb xbox user said it was + and - for PC.

The shown techniques work with every road/path etc as long as they can be elevated.
But for the later variants, some mods may be needed
