Great test on the F75. I just got the F75 special edition last week! I can't wait to try it out. The depth is unbelievable!! I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Thanks a lot.
Relic ME Congrats. How you finding F75? I've had mine a while now and I am trying to factory reset it... I can't seem to do it as per my manual... how would you reset yours (just asking, perhaps you know :) Happy hunting
Stanman121 1. Turn detector off. 2. Press-and-hold the red MENU button and push-forward-and-hold the TOGGLE SWITCH. 3. Turn the detector on, while you are still holding the controls. 4. Release the MENU button and TOGGLE SWITCH. 5. See the F symbol. When the F disappears, the detector is reset.
Mark Gillespie Thank you so much for confirming, It worked! But it did not display the F. That's what threw me off since an online manual also mentioned the F but I was doubting if its my models manual. So I set some values like Sens 48 and discr 23. I then did what you said and my values return to the default values - Sens 60 discr 15 etc confirming a factory reset happened. Don't know why it doesn't display the F though :) Very kind of you to help out. Kind regards
Did the same thing you mentioned about reducing sensitivity when EMI was present and now I'm amazed. I can't tell if I have lost any depth. The only thing that has changed is the audio volume. Softer on the super deep targets. Amazing
Yes, I'm in BP "boost" mode. Now keep in mind there are no other metals in the area where the target is. If there were, the target would be silent for sure. This mode is good for two areas, in high grass "it allows you to hunt with the coil several inches above the ground" and good ground that is not trashy.
I’ve got the F75 SE LTD also... If you didn’t know the boost mode and cache mode settings transfers over to all metal mode side and enhances its performance. It’s says so in the users manual and I asked Kelly Co. You don’t need to swing slow in boost mode using all metal mode but you do need to sweep slow using cache mode and when you’re using that setting while in all metal mode. Just set discrimination mode side first then switch over to all metal mode and it almost doubles all metal mode performance. Other settings like default or fast mode or jewelry doesn’t transfer over to enhance all metal mode. This information is on page 22 and 23 of the users manual. As you start to read each discrimination mode. You’ll noticed boost process cache locating process at the bottom of the paragraph says... when the boost mode is selected the response characteristics of the all metal mode are also modified (meaning boosted or enhanced) these characters include less noise and slow response speed. Because now its searching ultra deep and so it responds a little slow. You don’t need to sweep slow in boost mode but you do when you use cache mode. Regardless if you are using them on discrimination side and/or on all metal mode. If you select one of these options and go back to all metal mode they are enhanced if you use any other setting like default or bottlecap or jewelry then it goes back to lower performance or default. Also if you haven’t upgraded to larger 15” inch fisher coil you should. I purchased the larger 15” inch fisher coil for my F75 LTD SE and I can hit quarters over 20” inches deep! Man hole cover or 55 gallon drum jumps from 2 meters on or 6 feet on stock 11” inch coil... However the larger 15” inch fisher coil will hit same amount of metal over three meters or 10 feet deep! So if you haven’t then you should upgrade the coil.
A lot of valid points. The areas where I hunt are trash laden so the larger coil would severely handicap the detector (too many targets under the coil at a given time). You are correct, the larger coil would be best for open areas and also the beach with extra coverage and depth.
Found several gold rings. One was a huge wedding band that I could put my wedding band through. Now If you are beach hunting dig everything that repeats. Land hunting requires a little different approach.
I am wondering. If your in boost mode and your still hearing the target clear with the sensitivity set to 1!, is it possible that the boost mode overrides the sensitivity control. Taking the sensitivity as far down as you did you should have heard at least a little change.......there was no change at all!!
I've yet to find a machine that can respond to that particular target with such low settings. I'm sure there is one somewhere, but of the ones I've owned they can't.
Mark Gillespie Hey Mark. great vid. i have the F75 SE. Had it for a while and I don't really know it that well (just dont get time) I am trying to factory reset, but I don't know how. My manual says it must display F .... How would you reset? id really really appreciate any help :) Happy hunting
trying my brand new at pro could you describe why i am getting 80 t0 90 and digging up nails caps flip tops. using the 8 x 11 coil, iron dis 34, one sensitivity knocked off, set in pro mode & in custom
Gregory Martin Try running in pro coin mode, also make sure the iron audio is on and when you locate a would be coin with the ID in the 80-90 range and your not sure. First pin point the location, then rotate around the target and listen for any form of buzzing in the audio which could be an indication of a bottle cap. Second thing to try is after pin pointing, while sweeping the coil over the target move the coil away from target and listen for the audio to change, buzzing of any kind will give clues to the target. I might add the bottle caps can and even fool me at times.Don't get discouraged.

Nice Mark. That test garden has paid off.

Can you explain the size of the rivet so I can better understand
Fantastic Video Mark
Did you find gold with this device?
In Iran, there is no information about how to use this device. Can you teach me the settings for finding gold?
Found several gold rings. One was a huge wedding band that I could put my wedding band through. Now If you are beach hunting dig everything that repeats. Land hunting requires a little different approach.
What was the size of the search coil, that you were using?
The 11" DD stock coil
I forgot to mention, now I have to try reducing the sensitivity when the machine is affected by EMI. Thanks for the video.
Nice video. BP is the only mode that matters.
For a older single frequency machine the f75 is very nice
Truly amazing machine. That proves one thing and that is, you don't have to run the machine super hot to detect deep targets.
Uppercase letters
I. Love you. Papa. This is. Ember

Never knew a detector could detect at such a low sensitivity setting
That seems to be an amazing discovery, but of all the other machines you've used, which can do the same thing at such a very low sensitivity setting?
Hat jemand eine Bedienungsanleitung?
fine heater for the dirt
I really need to know the settings for the beach for the Fisher F-75. Anyone..
Down by the waves
Motion all metal mode works fairly good in the wet salt sand area. Ground balance will be close to 0. Dig anything that repeats.

thanks, very newwwwwwwww at this
I will try my sensitivity at 85 when Im not in a trashy area. I just learned something.
I just bought this and I do not understand any of this.
F75 is amazing.
