Just learned something today. I’ve got the F75 SE LTD...
Just leaned the Boost mode and cache mode transfers over to motion all metal mode settings. Those are the only two settings that enhance motion all metal modes from discrimination side. I thought each side was independent and didn’t interact with each other but the last two modes do effect motion all metal mode. It boosts the all metal search but you must slow down sweep speed just as using cache mode in discrimination.. So leave it in Boost mode in discrimination mode settings when using all metal mode to get best performance. Read the mode settings in the instruction manual and you’ll see Boost mode and cache mode effects motion all metal mode. I called Fisher to confirm how it works.

Nice Vid.Pity Gene don`t do a lot more of these . I`m sure there`s a few people out there that would welcome Gene giving us a few more instructional vids. Had My F75 since around 2008 and even I`m still open to instruction as even the smallest new tip is worth knowing.

Hi, really nice vid.Even if there is 2023 the f75+ is outstanding machine, it seams to me.I hope, you all agree.I would like to know the differences in searching programs. For example, PF is program for plowed fields but what is different over the dE(slower response of the program and higher sensitivity)?I have not found it through the google;-).Thank you for help

Just bought a Fisher F75 SE, What is the best settings for a beginner? Will be hunting fields and old home places. Thanks

Hello Chuck! The F75 SE can be used with great success as a turn on and go detector. The stock settings provide plenty of sensitivity and depth to get started with. Once you become more accustomed to the machine you can tweak it from there. Best of luck and Happy Hunting!

Does the bobb the coil tip only work on the F75, or would it work on my F2 also? Heck, I'll try it and see.
