want to try your recipe. looks good. just a bit of advice. do not store masala in plastic bags or bottles, as the oils in the spices evaporate easily. store in a glass bottle and keep it in the fridge for up to 6months.
This masala is used for vatana Ross, alsande Ross or any such veg. recipes. For non veg I usually prefer both in equal portions I. e garam masala and chicken masala. If you want to give it a try then prepare in less quantity.
Yes, some people roast and add goan rice. You can add around 70gms of goan rice..... Roast until it's color changes and aromatic...... Since, I have already added black cardamom so it's ok to skip green cardamom.... If you want to add few green cardamom pods then remove 3-4 black cardamom pods and add green cardamom and see that the grams do not change.....
Instead of khas khas you can add parboiled red rice (ukade tandul) around 25gms....but see that it is well roasted until it turns aromatic and light brown....
