For best results and to maximize longevity of your car, I’d recommend doing stage 1 if you have stock intercooler, intake, and downpipes. We tuned the S5 for the sake of the video, and plan on doing the hardware upgrades before dailying the car! Until then, the car will be ran as stage 1.
Today we tuned the B9 with 034 Motorsport stage 2 ECU and TCU tunes. It is a completely different car... We took the car out to get some before and after reactions, and it's wild! 034 Motorsport really knocked it out with this tune. Highly recommend!

We filmed the mods all in one day, and I wanted to release the tune video first. It's important to note that without the upgraded downpipe, intake, and intercooler, you should run stage 1 from 034! This is an awesome video! I was at an Audi dealership today looking at the B9 platform for the S5 (no, I am not trading in my B8.5 manual S5 lol). I went to go buy some coolant for my car and me and the dealer started talking and he was not trying to sell me the car, he was really loving my S5 and at the same time he gave me valuable information and today was the first time I've ever heard of 034 and he recommended me take my car there. He definitely gave me some praise on my car and love the fact that I bought it knowing it was rare and he gave me really good knowledge on the B9 platform. I always thought it was also a 2.9 l like the RS5. This guy was almost a guru for Audi and aftermarket performance. Thank you for making this video, I really enjoyed it!

i was already planning on going stage 2 93 full bolt on for my 19 s4 and this has only made me more excited to do it the car stock is ton of fun on highway and the backroads surprisingly this car handles like something half its size amazing video!!

@@Rs3mocha I went stage 3+ with an 810 beat everyone got my name out there and then sold it for an m4 but I’m now back in another b9 that’s bagged and will be getting another big turbo

Did you have to get a new intercooler or anything so that you didn’t run into any problems

This is my Second S5 as I first Purchased the 2018 Model when they first came to the US. Mythos Black w/ Red Leather. I was wondering if you know why they derated the HP from 354 down to 349 HP. Was it for Insurance purposes? Anyway, Let it Rip Man, I'm All Ears & Eyes!!
Thanks very much! I’ll be honest I’m more familiar with the older 3.0T and the power/ performance, but the new ones should both be a very similarly tuned turbo 3. I have to do some more research on the B9.5

Intercooler upgrade is a must with this car.
Why?
@@TheBrandoboy factory one is tiny and prone to heat soak. Lose power when that happens. Large upgraded inter cooler keeps turbo happy

Awesome video, but you guys will run into issues running stage 2 and not having the downpipe, intercooler, and air intake. I saw your previous video and saw you only had an exhuast right?
We installed full awe exhaust with resonated downpipes, and 034’s intake!

I'm shopping for a b9 s5. Can this tune be modified to forego the pops in the exhaust?
I can appreciate a good sounding exhaust. I'm expecting a bit of chop in a 416ci + 2.9L whipple build I'm doing on my truck, but pops and crackles were never my thing.
As a motor head from the 60s, pops and crackling signified too rich a mixture. Definitely not something I WANT to hear.

Sorry for my ignorance... but you'll tuned and increased hp to 476hp only with the computer? Without modifying parts in the car?
Correct. Power potential for just an ECU flash is crazy.. Planning on also upgrading some parts with this car. We just did an exhaust, but a tune is a great way to get quick horsepower gains with this platform!
Can you just flash the stage 2 tune and ecm tune on stock DP, intake and IC? Obviously it won't be optimal but doable?
Not recommended. We did this for one run lol. Consider DP, intake and intercooler required hardware for stage 2

I've recently purchased an Audi RS5 and considered getting it tuned. It is my daily driver and I am not looking to radically alter the car. What tune would you recommend and why?
I’d say any stage 1 ECU tune will be similar. 034 has a tune that brings the B9 RS5 to 484hp with just a flash tune. That’s with everything else stock. Really most major tune companies will be around the same for stage 1
Sooooo you did a stage 2 tune, and you made no mention of doing a pulley or inter cooler upgrade…034 doesn’t require any of these mods 🤔

Yep! Those are the only required mods
Why is the rev limiter not changed to 7k
7k rev limiter is on Stage 3 tune, stock turbo starts to sputter around 6200.
Would a stage 2 S5 coupe be more fun than a 2018 BMW M4?
Nope
They'd be similar in performance, it just depends what you're looking for! Also a very highly subjective question hahaha. I'd love to compare an M4 in the future

Bad idea to go stage 2 without intake & especially without dp & intercooler with the b9! Shoulda did more homework before rushing into a tune. The car isn't even close to its full potential without those 3 mods. Exhaust means nothing really. U should call 034 & get their opinion for real. Good luck tho

@@KevG The AWE exhaust downpipes are not the same as the catalyst, unless that was specifically purchased separately then the car still has the stock catalyst

Keep me honest here…I thought a stage 1 ECU and stage 2 TCU raises the redline to 7k?
In the B8/B8.5 it does. Most power gains come mid range RPM’s for the B9

to tune it cost like 600 EUR...however, for stage 2 you already need to change some hardware.
The 034 Stage 2 tune is about $1100 with a USB connector for your laptop. Round numbers for hardware are $500 intake, $140 inlet pipe, $1000 intercooler, and $700 to $1600 for the downpipe.
Only problem is you void the warranty doing this.

@@KevG Would be nice to mention that in a video. 034's whole b9 tuning platform is built around longevity and safety for the vehicle while still getting the most bang for your buck. Which is the the complete opposite of what you do in this video without any type of disclaimer.
034 really should spend some more time involved with these sponserships/freebies. Just make IE and Unitronics look better with each one of these videos that come out.
