Hello Cr Fr. Thanks for sharing the video on the jig. If you have a deck of cards, hold the deck flat in your right hand. Use your thumb to slide the top card off. Go through the entire deck then repeat it again. Soon your thumb will move normally again. I did this and it worked for me. Enjoy the day. Ray L
The Crazy Framer It happens to the best of us! Everyone I know has taken a fall at some point in their career. Can’t wait to see your next build - heal quick man!
Hey, crazy I think people are missing the point your OBVIOUSLY not independtly wealthy and now he probably has a few bills that he has to worry about also. All j can say. Is that I had my pinky finger and my middle and the one in between cut off by a freak once in a million years when I was 23 and I'm 51 now and it took a good 6 months before my fingers got desensitized so i could hold something without my hand opening up on its own. So what my therapist had me do is to start with flower then move to the next tolerable ingredient that I had at home then eventually I was able to stick my hand in cornflakes. Because down here in the 50 states we don't have any national health care and I was young and thought that I would never get hurt.Truust me I bet you already knew that. Wishing you a speedy but safe recovery.
Good to see you improving Crazy. To keep the videos coming out, how about creating CF picnic table talks discussing home building? Or walk us through lumber yards or home improvement stores you use? Or film your construction friends working while you narrate? Anything to get traction on your channel again. We miss you.
Greetings CF... take your time getting that thumb in action before you do another house build, we'll patiently for those, meantime if you feel the need, then make some more jigs, fixtures and tool tips etc from home will keep us all happy :)
Glad to see your hand is recovering! It looks like it will be much better now that the plate has been removed. Try rubbing some vitamin e oil on the cuts. It will help it heal much better and as a result will cause less scaring.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video, especially with your injury, but it was difficult to watch you fumble left handed with a misfiring low battery cordless nailer. I swore to myself 9 times. You have more patience than I do. I would have thrown that thing over the fence. Now I KNOW why I'll take the time to use my 150 psi compressor and nailer. I used a coiled hose so I don't have to screw around with 50 feet of heavy kinking hose. Get well soon. Then use your right hand when working, or you'll send a nail through your other hand and someone else will be making the video for you.
Yeah those Paslode gas guns make for a good kayak anchor. I finally threw mine out cos it got too frustrating to use. Great vid, can't wait for new build vids!
If you really want to see , go to RR Building page but you prob only wanna learn off CF so that’s understandable, they are really simple ones that Kyle on RR BUILDING does and I even made a set
I've been waiting for this. Thanks. My cost for lumber including pressure treated legs is under $80. I'm using pine. I would consider cedar but the cost might be high. Jim in Leesburg Virginia.
Wish you the best with the hand I cut my finger on table saw n had tendon surgery and my hand has never been right do what they say n youll be good I was going crazy not working thanks for the video hope your better soon 👍🏻
Hey Crazy Framer, i was wondering if u have a prefered brand of framing nailer? Which brands would u recommend that are good for the price and which ones do you find to be the most durable?
Hello, Mr., I have been paying attention to your video for a long time. I am from China. Some questions want to ask you, I want to build a wooden house for my home like you. You are using thick wood and OSB size.
Was only thinking recently, haven’t been seeing much from the CF, I know ya got an operation but I remember when all I’d do is watch ur videos lol so it’s been obvious that there’s nothing, so hurry the f**k up and heal hahahahaha let’s get another build series happening 🤙
I feel like you could have converted those to SI units all on your own if you have internet access. He was gracious enough to provide the cut list, you can figure out what those dimensions mean in your preferred units.
was sorry to hear about your misfortune looks like you are doing better we all love the videos you make just make sure you don't rush back before you are good . that was very smart on how to build that jig thanks again get well
136 comments and everyone is about the guy or his hands.. hey ive been a fan of the guy since he walk 40feet of sloped 2x6 while balancing a roof truss my himself.. but how about some comments on the content, like how to do it quicker better cheaper or if its actually profitable in any areas to make and sell these? could swear i seen these outside homedepot in the summer for something like 80$ canadian, looking now cheapest thing on home depot is lie 300$ and homehardware sells pine ones for 150$

My biggest question is what gave you the inspiration to make a picnic table, was it because of the chair that you made last time?
Just found you. Good stuff.

Building home video
How did you come up with the measurements for your picnic table and why did you not use the full 8 feet?
136 comments and everyone is about the guy or his hands.. hey ive been a fan of the guy since he walk 40feet of sloped 2x6 while balancing a roof truss my himself.. but how about some comments on the content, like how to do it quicker better cheaper or if its actually profitable in any areas to make and sell these?
