Good score of fatwood, u have Learn well grasshopper... lol all BS aside, one of the resons I like ur videos is over the yrs u have Taught yourself how and where to find good pineknot ( fatwood ) and you tell others that mite be interested in finding some there self where and how and what kind of pines to get it from, most channels don't do all that as well as you, and I have seen a lot of fatwood channels come and go they Usually only last about three years at best, there are a few resons y why I think u have lasted over the yrs ( what is it now 6 or 7 yrs now ) ... keep it up hon, ur doing a great job ....

Hello. The only part that evaporates is the thin outer edge. The freshly exposed resin will dry and crystalize in a thin somewhat powdery form. Even if the terpenes evaporate it's not a problem. The pine gum itself is enough to start your fire.
