Great to see you back in your native environment! Sorry to hear you’re having drought there. We’re in year 13 of our drought. New thing we’ll have to adapt to.
I really admire your dedication to the upkeep of your bugout camp. It seems that you are always working on it, and it's obvious that you enjoy your time there.
You don't do anything half-way. An admirable quality, especially with survival and woodcraft. Great to see you and Amy out and energetic. Best of Days.
It's great to see you back in your bugout camp. Your dried up stream may still have water flowing under the surface. You may be able to dig a shallow well for a convenient water source.
Lily, if you cover your fire with dry tree bark pieces to a depth of at least 0.5M, it will burn down to ash completely. The ash will insulate your fire so that you will wake up, brush the ash away, and have glowing coals to cook on. The bark and then the ash will also protect the fire from rain.
it's so very good to see you back and in the woods Survival Lilly, and with your dog Amy and she's so very beautiful too ok. and thank you in advance for sharing with all of us on RUclips Strength and honor 100%❤
Its nice to see you back at the bug out camp and smiling , you still have your axe cutting rhythm which is good to see , its sad about the stream silting up but it happens if its not looked after. Lilly.
I just love seeing this, I have been prepping for a long time myself. I have been focusing on gardens and building my greenhouse lately. My wife has finally bought into the getting ready for whatever is coming next. She was about 50% during the plandemic but she has been paying attention to the world and the fact that we have been lied to about everything. It’s makes it easier for me now that she understands how important it is to be prepared and well stocked. I always say it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it! Thanks for sharing this with us!!
I remember the creek being one of the reasons you chose that location for your camp. It's sad to see that it's now dry. Great video as always Lilly. :)
It's actually nice to see you back out here! Most everything still looks solid after quite a while of non-use. Goes to show you Lilly's bushcraft building skills!
Self sufficiency and survival skills are key to success in the new world that we live in. You have all of these skills and thank you for sharing them with us. You truly are a icon!
That's debatable. She is better off than most women Skill and attitude wise. However she better find a man or join a tribe willingly if she really wants to survive. She won't last long on her own. Even men get beaten down after while in the wilderness. My younger Brother started talking about he would make it on his own. I laughed.... He thought he could Carry 500lbs by himself into the mountains 🤣 all at once. I was like bro I have actually lived alone in the woods for over a year. When i came out i lost so much fat and muscle mass it was sickening. I came prepared even....
Very entertaining to watch you process that dead tree. Your fire looked wonderful! Drought is the normal thing now, eh? That's not so good... Water is heavy to carry. Thank you for the visit to your super shelter!
Hello from Oklahoma! It's always a good time when a body can get out in the woods with a furry friend. I take 2 with me when I get out. I remember when U started building that shelter, it's held up very well! That is a testament to the good job U did. Be proud of that.👍👍 The drought situation is an eye opener indeed. Hope things improve soon. U are looking happy and healthy. Thanks for all U do! God Bless!🙏
I agree with all the others who have commented on how good it is to see you back in the woods! I grew up in a small logging town here in the states, and I loved nothing more than to be in the woods! Btw, remember to keep your feet shoulder-width apart when chopping wood. I'd REALLY hate to see you accidentally hit your foot and have to be out of the woods even longer! 😮 Take care Lilly and keep making the great videos so we can all join you on your quests!
Good to see you back at your camp! Glad you got some rain! Your camp is looking better all the time with all the improvements your doing! Your such a hard worker! ❤️
It's just incredible what beauty, what atmosphere you were able to create. This is truly a meditative experience watching you. I myself started making videos about my adventures in bushcraft, so I'm interested in everything. Grretings from Belarus tourist.✌️
No one messes with your camp? So lucky to have something to come back to when you want to and not have to worry. You are an amazing person to stay so focused on self reliance.
That looks like fun. If you need rain, I'll send ours over your way. We've had rain for about two weeks and more on the way here in western Pennsylvania. It's coming in bands. It rains and quits and starts back up again. Just enough to keep ya inside.
I recall when you built that bug out camp! I remember when the Creek had water and it was fairly wide your dog was always drinking and running through it. Awesome experience for us viewers.. You were always in the mountains working on survival tactics and sharing your knowledge and experience the Backcountry. I live in the States with the most backcountry land in the lower 48 and plan on doing something similar. Looking forward to your adventures in the wilderness !
Great video. I really enjoyed seeing so much of Amy. She is a sweet dog. I also like the water bowl you made for her. I remember when there was water in that creek by your camp. You work hard for your fun.💖
Amy ok ? Acting sluggish . Like something is off . Glad its raining their . vary cool and wet here in Florida . Seems cooler than usual . The Heat will come with high UVI Now at 12 . Garden weather .Thanks for the woods video . do check the mushroom's u planted .WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM AGAIN !
It's glad to see you out at your fort again Lily a place you're familiar with, you haven't lost your touch on splitting wood that's for sure. I noticed you reading the dandelion are a part of this plant is edible from the roots to the flower, I like to take the flower heads and flour and fry them just like squash, the roots of the deadline I put in the pan and roast over a fire until they're darkened, then run them to a spice grinder and you can make dandelion coffee or get dandelion tea they call it, great video Lily
I have the same problem on my ranch, no rain equals no water. My creek used to run almost year round now we are lucky if it runs for a month. So in the summer we have to haul water in for the house and cattle.
G'Day Lilly , May I suggest the next time you go back to your camp to take empty 20 litre clear plastic drum for water collection for when it rains and put it on your watch tower frame where you are building your walls up. Over time this would help in you having to cart water in 😁
I think that pine pitch that was on the spruce tree could be the trees response to the dreaded conifer bark beetle. We have a big problem with them here in the states.(Kills large swaths of the pine forest). The beetles take over when the trees are stressed by drought.
I helped a guy build a bug out shelter, always best to build it below the crest of a hill, so that it is not so easily seen. Build a smokeless stove that has the secondary burn of the smoke. They work surprisingly well. Lots and lots of good designs on here, they also have the added benefit of putting out way more heat that a campfire. This is a wide open forest, but the areas where the small valleys come together just below the crest work well. That is where we built his, then throughout that area we planted native sticker bushes around much of the ridgeline. I have not seen it in years, but he showed me a picture that they have grown up nicely. We planted them with a path out and in just because. They wont stop a determined person but they keep away the causal observer. If the ground was drier we would of built a dugout, but too damp for that.
Hey Lilly, Excellent video again! The food looked fantastic! And Amy clearly enjoyed it! Lol.. Good find with the tree sap/resin and also good you found another small stream! (Ideal for a future potential small hydro power project perhaps for the camp?? 🤔😉👍) I clean my grills the same way also except a wire brush once they're hot and the old fat residue then comes off and takes everything with it! (I also give it a once over with a wet clump of tissue on a prong over the flame and it comes up gleaming everytime!) Cheers from London 👍❤️🏴
That Creek that used to be there seems very interesting. I am curious to see if one walked up the ravine whether they'd find what happened to the stream coming through it. Maybe some beavers damned it up? I really think beavers are super cute and I think they are nice animals for the environment oh, but it would be interesting to see maybe they left their water dam and are not using it anymore.
Spring is here , you are in the beautiful woods , love and missed these posts , sadly we may all be making these out of necessity not recreation . Thank you.
Dig in your creek. There will be water traveling through the soil. It may be a half meter or a meter down, but digging a hole will be making a well for you to use.
Good to see you out doing your thing" again, Lilly! Amy is such a beautiful dog.❤ We've been under a "burn ban" here in SW OK, USA since Dec! One of the worst winter droughts I can remember. And THAT'S a bunch of winters, lol.🙄😝
Great to see you back in your native environment! Sorry to hear you’re having drought there. We’re in year 13 of our drought. New thing we’ll have to adapt to.
good for her!
The world is in drought....even if there is water. 2024 is going to be scary!
Good to see you in the woods Lily!

You don't do anything half-way. An admirable quality, especially with survival and woodcraft. Great to see you and Amy out and energetic. Best of Days.
Looks like a load of fun. I'm too busy getting my garden going to go camping. I'm not complaining, I do enjoy that too
I also have enjoyed a lifetime of the peace, quiet and beauty of nature.
It's great to see you back in your bugout camp. Your dried up stream may still have water flowing under the surface. You may be able to dig a shallow well for a convenient water source.

Lilly.
I loved seeing Amy under the bed. She’s working on her stealth camping skills 😊
I love in this video how clearly you can hear the sounds of work echo through the woods.
Appreciate all your videos Lilly!!!
It's good to see a young lady be so self reliant and I'm Waiting to see her fire Amy's bowl , I need to learn that.

I have so much respect and love for lily for putting so much hard work into her channel and to better herself as a survivalist/prepper.
Nice to see you back at your camp :-)
Very entertaining to watch you process that dead tree. Your fire looked wonderful! Drought is the normal thing now, eh? That's not so good... Water is heavy to carry. Thank you for the visit to your super shelter!

Yeah, finally back in the camp. And wood chopping is soooo satisfying. I love to chop wood.
Great video! Nothing like being in a special place in the woods with your dog. Always something to do, easy to clear your mind.
The sound of silence... What a beaautifull sound ;)

I live in the States with the most backcountry land in the lower 48 and plan on doing something similar.
Looking forward to your adventures in the wilderness !
Consider putting a dam in the gully where the creek was while its dry. When the drought is over the water should return.
Great video. I really enjoyed seeing so much of Amy. She is a sweet dog. I also like the water bowl you made for her. I remember when there was water in that creek by your camp. You work hard for your fun.💖
As you were cutting down that tree, I wondered how you ID useable standing wood.

Excellent fun in the woods with Amy! Thanks for sharing your adventure ✌😎👍❤❤
This looks absolutely lovely and peaceful.
Good to see you back where you belong. Amy likes it too. I remember when your channel took a nosedive. So glad to see you back out!
