The Magpul PTS FPG conversion kit works with the upper part of a Glock 18C KWA. It makes it look a lot like the Magpul FMG-9 prototype.
The FMG-9 is a "folding submachin gun", made to be used for concealed carry. The idea is that when folded, the gun is not supposed to look like a gun, but like a laptop or something. I guess that everybody now could tell it's a gun considering it somehow became famous, but, well...
The whole fun of this gun is the unfolding part. That's very cool, it makes a nice sound and it's very fun to do. Once it's unfolded, well... It's basically a Glock 18C inside a carbine conversion kit. It's not going to work better or less good than a normal Glock 18C, unless you put custom parts like a longer inner barrel or something.
Note that in this video, I used a metal slide Glock 18C KWA.

Le kit de conversion Magpul PTS FPG fonctionne avec la partie supérieure d'un Glock 18C KWA. Il le fait ainsi ressembler au FMG-9 Magpul, qui à ma connaissance en est toujours au stade du prototype.
Le FMG-9 est un "SMG pliant", créé pour pouvoir être facilement dissimulé. L'idée est qu'une fois replié, l'arme ne ressemble pas à une arme, mais à un composant électronique ou quelque chose comme ça. Je suppose que ça ne fonctionne plus trop aujourd'hui du fait que le prototype est maintenant assez célèbre... M'enfin.
Tout le fun provient du moment où on déplie la réplique. C'est vraiment sympa, ça fait un chouette bruit et c'est très marrant à faire. Une fois que c'est déplié... Bah, c'est un Glock 18C KWA à l'intérieur d'une boite. Cela ne va pas fonctionner ni mieux ni moins bien qu'un Glock 18C KWA tout nu, sauf si vous mettez un canon plus long ou quelque chose...
Notez que j'utilise un bloc culasse métal KWA dans cette vidéo.
Notez aussi que contrairement à ce que je montre à la fin de la vidéo, vous pouvez replier le FPG avec un chargeur long engagé, à condition de retirer le talon du chargeur et à pousser le chargeur : • Folding the FPG with a...

You can also fold it with a long mag inside.
You just have to take the bottom-plate of the mag away and push it further into the grip after folding

I have one GBB replica (Hi Capa 5.1) after a lot of screwing around with it I promised myself to never buy another green gas pellet gun, but after this video I might reconsider that. Awesome replica.

No, the FPG use KWA parts.
Note it's not a kit, it's a gun by itself, even if it uses Glock parts like the slide or the magazines.

I like the sliding action at the beginning of the video, that what makes the FMG a cool gun in my opinion.
Personal opinion: I'd prefer electric Airsoft guns rather than gas operated.
Well, there is pros and cons for both systems.
KhanSeb Electric weapons are much cheaper, in there (Hungary) is no Gas-operated Smgs, Assault rifles or any rilfes, just pistols. but good review anyway.
I like both of them, but I think I like electric just a bit more.
As sort of a MILSIM guy, I prefer gas-operated guns much better, but, we all have our tastes.
is there any impact/velocity differences between gas and electric mechanisms? i mean to ask which of the two has more kick.

There's a Magpul FPG floorplate to be used with the long magazine so you can conceal the extended mag in the FPG when folded.

Yes and no. The FPG is the name of the airsoft version (given to it by Magpul). Means "Folding Pocket Gun" I believe. The real one is called FMG-9 ("Folding Machin Gun 9mm").
Hey Khan if you didn't know you could put the extended mag into the gun when folded, you have to remove the plat on the bottom of the mag and push the pistol grip slightly back when its folded then it will fit. Hope this helped and great video :D

Well, I guess, but I'd still try to keep the carry handle. The gun is somehow harder to unfold without it, because you can't firmly grip it.

there is a way to store the extended mag as well. when you fold the grip in, push on the magazine a little bit.
i like the gun you work with it easy and for new airsofrers is good for a secondary and for primary

Khan, you can 'Swiss-Cheese' drill holes in the G18c slide to make it lighter. This will make it cycle much quicker and more crisp. At least people can't see this working part of the gun. When we tested it on our channel, it was surprisingly accurate. How was yours?

hey Khan, you can also buy packs of magpul floor plates for the mags or just get the FPG mags to fold them in.

When the transforming from box mode to gun. Is it normal that your first trigger squeez wont shoot? Then the second 1 will work?
Probably yeah cuz it's folding gun so there may be some delays.
There are iron sights on the carry handle of the weapon. Its actually pretty good. I put it on other weapons sometimes.

Those tricks were totally needed.
Well, I use the 1080p quality and the wide angle. I use Magix Video.
Basically, gas (hfc, green, etc) is in it's current and strongest state of matter a cold temperature. When a gbb is fired, the rapid release of gas (needed to blow the slide back) causes the slide and magazine to become cold over time, when the gas warms up and the gun parts become cold, the cycling of the gun gets weaker.
I always have cool down issues with my KWA guns..

I dont know if youve taken high school level chemistry class, but basically its when a gas expands, it cools, and the pressure decreases. When the pressure decreases, it cools off more, further decreasing the pressure. Add on top of that gas leaving the magazine because you are firing it, you get kind of a snowballing effect that kills your gas efficiency and power, hence the reason why he ran out of gas before his mag was empty. It's why the magazines get so cold, and dont work well in the cold
The p90 has a charging handle on either side, and it also ejects the shells out of the bottom if that helps with your weapon choice.

The carrying handle has a groove running through it, with a pistol style rear sight in the back an a front sight in the front.

for the cooling problem, can't you just replace the g.18 inside the FPG with one with a better cooling unit?
fpg is another gun people used to work on but abanded the idea and yeah and it stands for folded pocket gun

btw i looked at the description and the pre assembled kit as far as i know has a longer inner barrel on the glock. so this kit with the pre assembled version is going to be a bit better.
I remember the first time I got to handle one of these at the stort the new guy who worked there had no idea had to close it. So I ended up spending 20 minutes learning how to put it back together.
The unnecessary trick are what makes this video awesome! Do more tricks with your guns :)
