When the lap finishes can you please bring up some kind of leaderboard so we can see where the time fits and what it compares with? Thanks.

Far and away the best series of evaluations !! Nice blend of feature review and most importantly each car's capability in expert hands.

Great video. I can't believe the performance improvement from one gen to next. Show the amount of work that went under the skin. I would love to see the lap times vs. GT-3 T with stickier tires.

I'd love to see a pro racer's take on the ND Miata especially with the 2019+ updated engine.

Great review again! I especially enjoyed your corner shots towards the end as well as what you thought their biggest achievement was with the 992 over prior versions (ie front end grip).

Andy Pilgrim is a great guy. Got to meet him in St Pete during his Cadillac Saloon days.

Just realized this was quicker than the 718 GT4 and within a second of the GT3 both of which were running Cup 2's ???

I watched this after watching proracer take the BMW Z4 and M2 through this same course. Mehn, I love those cars but this 911 is on a totally different level.

Who let the porsche 992 at bowling green...? 3.1 seconds to 60 is darn quick...almost as quick as the c8 and the porsche is nice. Thank you Andy Pilgrim. Good review for us to enjoy...

I don’t understand him tapping the gas towards the end of the hot lap. 🤷🏼‍♂️

if you are right on the edge of handling, it can help with rotating the car through the turn. that would be my guess and if you analyze say famous F1 drivers many do the same thing.

I’m confused, he says this car has a turbo but it’s not a “Turbo”?!?

    • @Robiig

It has a 3.0 twin turbo but is not the ‘911 turbo or turbo s’ model

Some improvements but far too many disappointments!
That sports exhaust is a total let down, it looks far worse than the standard 4 pipe option.
Gear shifter, aka electric razor, is a complete design fauxpaux
Interior digital screens are horrible, it simply no longer even looks like a sports car and the designers failed to notice that 2 of the 5 screens are completely invisible when you drive.

I own one. Can’t say those things are real issues if you drive one daily. Those are just the points that all the forum critics routinely nag about. The 911 is always under a bit of a microscope. If that’s all they can come up with then Porsche did well. The exhaust is actually good in U.S. since we don’t have particulate filers unlike Europe. It’s not as good as my GT350 by any means but it’s good. Shifter is a non-issue. Two outside gauges are slightly blocked by the wheel. Tilt your head 3 inches and you see them. Can’t say they display any info that I utilize often other than maybe outside air temp. Overall it’s the definitely the best 911 I’ve owned hands down. Throw in Cup 2’s and it’ll run right with a 991 GT3.
