    The fact that courage hammer beat STR hammer in an adrenaline run [before TU4] speaks volumes about how much stronger courage hammer is than strength atm.

    I prefer strength because the combos feel like it has that bonk feeling. But the DPS is really lagging behind courage.

      @@TripleCartTeam They really need to keep Courage Hammer for future games, so in other words; Switch Skills need to be adopted for all future MH games!

      ​@@deinonychus1948 I doubt that. They get locked within the game as usual & try something new with the future games. That's the only thing that keeps this series fresh. New ways to hunt. Silkbind & switch skills ruined the MH experience imo. Monsters weren't scary anymore. @microwave4359

      @@LumenPsycho While you are entitled to your own opinion; I believe that Switch Skills need to return in some capactity, not because they make the game easier; but because they provide a new way to play a certain weapon and some weapons can have entire builds centered around a specific Switch Skill
      You mention how the Switch Skills will get left in the dust, but think about it this way; when Palico's were added way back in the day, they kept them going forward... they added mounting in MH4 and it's been with us in some capacity ever since... and layered armour was added either in World or MHGU/XX and it seems like it ain't going anywhere soon!
      The point is, Capcom will see Switch Skills as an experient, an idea... and we note that the vast majority of fans loved it, and it doesn't really cost them much to port the Switch Skills to future MH games
      Now, moving onto the whole "Monsters aren't scary anymore" thing; it is technically true... but not because Rise has made them less scary... but because we are more competent hunters now
      Back in World for example, Anjanath used to scare me, it was one of my earliest walls in those early days of being a monster hunter... fast forward to my most recent save file of MHW and suddenly Anjanath is just another brick in the wall for me, because I'm a better hunter now... same with Diablos, they simply don't scare me anymore (note that this is also the same save file in which I soloed Fatalis on my very first try... which further empathises my point)
      in fact, Monster Hunter is one of the few game where you could genuinely throw any monster at me and I'll stand my ground regardless of how tough and/or scary it is
      There are very few games in which I am this confident in my abilities and so I'll have to refute your claim that the monsters aren't scary anymore
      They haven't gotten less scary, you're simply a better hunter than you were in the past

    How about a no impact crater time? cause strenght hammer just felt like impact crater spam instead of actual strenght gameplay, I wonder how the times would be, pure courage vs pure strength
    Both using impact burst of course, cause it's good

      Without impact crater, on a short run like this one strengh would be way slower

    This is insane to see man. I just beat the campaign as hammer and I’m not where near as good lmao. Ohh also what does tranquilizing boss do before trap??

      The effect of tranq bombs last a few seconds after use, so you can put tranqs before the trap, then when the monster get in the trap, he will be instantly captured (if he IS low enough ofc)

      Depending on courage charge's level, hits can have multiple hits. Also impact burst give one extra hit on every charge moove

    What’s the point of Tranquing after setting the trap?

      Tranq effect lingers for a while after being used so if you bring the monster to low enough health, while in a trap, after being tranqd, it'll still be captured
