At 0:35 after he procs adrenaline he starts by throwing the barrel bomb -> hyper armors the explosion from drawn double slash to get rid of red health and avoid knockback-> chains into foresight slash to get closer to narga-> and lastly uses the opening from stagger for a safe Harvest Moon
I creamed myself just from that opening strat, so simple and yet I've never seen or thought of doing that. 10/10 run, Peppo really out there showing us what true perfection looks like.

Incredible run. Bury the Light is just icing on the cake. This video gives hunters everywhere something to strive for, not just with LS, but with any weapon. Complete mastery of a weapon’s move set.
Now I want to see someone do something like this with Lance with *The Wall* by Heat Mob playing in the background.
I love this kind of content, please continue doing more and encorage others too if it's possible! We can see so much more skill expression when the monster isn't always limping on the ground from the insane amount of damage an optimised build gives. Thank you!

Yeah, I'm just now learning I can quick sheathed after foresight. It's such a hard habit to try and not go for spirit 4 after foresight for me.
Try only using Helm against the target youre kicking into - not changing the aim to try to hit something else - game doesnt like that.

@@petershahan533 it's a glitch. helm breaker has been broken since MHW and it seems to be too difficult to fix
With the helm breaker missing and the new sacred sheathe LS really is becoming the new GS

As someone who enjoyed watching "naked" runs from the pre-World days, this gave me some old school vibes. Fully geared speedruns are great and all but this feels more like actual hunting to me.

As someone who just picked up long sword for the counter spam, this level of mastery is both beyond my understanding and yet at the same time it feels so right; I still have to build defense like a madman but your level of counters and dodges is on another level entirely
Any tips for Valstrax? I was finally able to beat without any carts and in reasonable time but his aimbots followed by explosions suck. Is there anyway to predict when he'll charge his chest?

Hi I am playing on PC, just started how do you quick sheath but then unleash that slash with your camera turning around when you are facing away from the enemy.
Is it because of the weapon that sheath R2 prog multiple time when the weapon are have collision with monster or all LS have it? I don't recall my sheath R2 have multiple hits

The sacred sheath counter, can it counter anything? I feel like I am pressing it at the right time but sometimes it doesn't go through. Is it my timing or do some monster attacks have priority unless I have Guard Up or something?

That was actually a brilliant way to get out of the circle without having to sheath your weapon. I definitely have to remember to do that from now on.

I very much enjoyed the last part with the last wirebug and the Marionette Spider. I don't know what about seeing you pros use those kinds of endemic in hunts makes me giggle. Maybe because it makes the runs more "human", showing that even the best use those things too.

Unrelated, but could you try a Valstrax speedrun that doesn't involve perma-stunning him by exploding his chest with Sacred over and over? I struggle a lot with that fight, and I'd like to see how to best exploit his attack patterns with LS.

I have some questions because I just only had base Rise last week:
Why did he keep switching scrolls, and what was the circle that appear after that.
1.) Probably has two different sets of switch skills set up for maximum damage potential without any armor.
2.) The circle? That's Harvest Moon. You basically lock yourself within the circle, but any counters you land deal extra ticks of damage.
tbf I'm both impressed at the display of skill and astonished at the numbers LS can still hit even without a single offensive skill.
What's the move he does at 0:52 with the blue mist? I've never seen that.

how do you chain special sheath?
Only possible after a successful ial spirit(the one with counter) after the counter you can go into spirit combo 3(or dividing slash) or just go right into special sheath.

I'm confused in end Narga is Flying Wyvern while Peppo is equipping Anti-Aerial Species Rampage Skill. Is there a chart/list for Monster Type? I'm thinking I'm using a wrong Rampage Skill.
I know this is way late, but you can use either the Anti-Aerial or the Anti-Wyvern for regular Nargacuga and Lucent Nargacuga. It doesn't matter which one is used. Both of them work on Nargacuga.
I'm starting to think Peppo intentionally tries to get a Helmbreaker miss in each run XD

Absolutely ridiculous (in a good way). With the addition of level 4 double quick sheath deco, I can use my talisman Part Breaker 3, Quick Sheath 1, 3 slot, 2 slot, 1 slot.
