Electric will flop eventually. The Merc EQS and other models are not selling (I mean they still have NEW 2022 models at our local dealership lol) and the Porsche Taycan and new Macan EV are just holding on thanks to brand value. There is nothing like the sound of a good ol V6 and V8 gas engine that can actually go 300-600 miles on a tank of gas reliably lol.
Well I am not surprised. The efficiency of batteries is atrocious. There is no way to build an electric 911 that can keep up with the gasoline car. Due to the massive weight. Honestly I have no desire to buy an EV unless they can atleast double or triple the energy density of car batteries.

Umm, well technically it is possible, but that is all it will do... keep up. Once range gets lower, there will be one clear winner - gasoline
I agree. I was so disappointed in the new Cybertruck. From advertised 500 mile range to a mere 320... and in real life that is 280 mile range.
I wouldn't buy an EV, and I currently own a few Benzes. Planning to get a Porsche as well, and it won't be an EV
This is so funny as today was the first time I saw porsche advertise a car on TV... and it was the taycan
Ev is not the future
Absolutely not, but it is an alternative.
Get out of electric and go back to gas
Not for everyone. Some people should only "drive" self driving EV's
