Yo bro. Do you recommend getting a catless downpipes only upgrade for my F85? I’m planning to install mhd stage 2. No need for charge intercoolers upgrade and charge pipes too? I live in a very hot climate area. Thanks 🙏🏻
Thanks for supporting the channel fam. You only need catless downpipes nothing else. The only time you will need an intercooler upgrade or methanol injection upgrade is when you're going for a custom tune to make more power.
How did you get the crankcase breather filter to fit on the oil cap? I hear people are having fitment issues with it. I have an f86 btw! Your car is dope!
Thanks fam and thanks for supporting the channel 💯 I have the original version 1 crankcase breather the version 2 has problems because the little winglets are too thick and it doesn't want to twist all the way on but you can slightly bend the winglets down and it will catch and twist, But be careful because they're easy to snap.

Bro do u have someone or a link for bigger calipers for a 650i I don't remember if u did that for yours or just for Sasha let me know if u do thanks
I actually only did the big brake upgrade for Yuri (X5) but you can contact Tony he's the guy I bought the kit from and see if he makes one for the 650i. I do know the M5 and M6 front brakes fit directly on the 650i if you can find them used on eBay or a salvage yard.

I too was thinking about possibly having the intercoolers cerakoted along with the turbo housings, downpipes and exhaust manifolds but I had to second guess because I feel it would have the opposite effect of what im trying to accomplish. Cerakote, or even powder coat, is an insulator so its really not going to deflect heat . With the turbos, manifolds and downpipes its going to keep heat from transferring to the atmosphere, so wouldnt the powder coat have the same effect as its going to soak up heat and trap it within the intercoolers ? It might be a bit different if they were being fed cooler air from the outside but the are sitting right in front of the block and can cause serious heat soak would it not ?
On a air to air intercooler I wouldn't recommend powder coating because you will have a problem transferring heat that way but we have air to water intercoolers and the heat exchanger is inside of a aluminum case. Heat insulating (powder coating) the aluminum case will help the water more efficiently cool down the air charge. You might be thinking of a air-to-air intercooler where what you said would be true but not for a air to water intercooler.

The F86 and F85 X5M/X6M don't have diverter valves. BMW stopped using them after the E70 and E71. Everything is controlled by the vanos system now.
Dude talk about deja vu. Literally the SAME EXACT THING happened to me and my 2013 x5 n63 2 days ago! Wow what a coincidence! I definitely need something better for my turbo inlets and turbo seals. The passenger side blew apart and the driver side is close as well to coming off! Great content my man! Been watching for a while now I’m sure you know. Haha

Yes I agree. Got an appointment at the dealership for June 9th because all of this work was done less than 1 year ago. It will all be covered for free so instead of doing it myself I’ll be patient and wait. Can’t wait to see what the built s63 turns out to be. My n63 has the bmw m performance package so it has 448hp and 500lb ft of torque. I have custom intakes on mine and the bmw m performance exhaust as well. I’m thinking about a new engine soon. These n63s are cheap compared to yours. My ZF8hp70 transmission I love so we are good there. Soon I’ll hit the track and post my numbers. See you soon
@@AutoLust hey do you know of any aftermarket turbo air intake inlets for the original n63 engine? I can’t seem to find any anywhere. They are just going to put the crappy plastic back on that is going to be loose and the turbo seal will be sloppy. Figured I’d ask you. If not no big deal
@@jamestabor587 they don't make aftermarket inlets for the n63 and S63 engines because they flow good enough even for upgraded turbos the only upgrade you can get this building your own custom inlet, but it's not really worth it unless you're going with a bigger turbo with a bigger turbo housing like a silly rabbit Motorsports turbo.
