I've Raptor lined all my armor and tub and trust me when I tell you...spend the extra $50 on the Upol vari-nozzle gun. The end result is night and day. You can adjust the texture for a consistent finish from micro fine to coarse and won't clog up and spit blobs of liner like the gun the kit comes with. Plus, adhesion promoter for all the tight nooks and crannies. Lastly, don't spray till the bottles empty. The residuals on the bottom of the bottle always gets clumpy.
PB Machines don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying you can’t get good results with the regular gun but once you try the pro gun you’ll kick yourself for not getting it sooner. The ease of maintenance with the way the pro gun breaks down for cleaning...that alone is worth the investment.
I've done this to all my jeeps about 4 years ago....once all my buddies seen how sweet it comes out all of them have done the same thing. Freaking love this stuff. Good job man
Had a friend do this about 3 or 4 years ago to his XJ. Looked awesome. Moved the front axel forward , lift, lockers , 38s, Atlas etc. On the taller creek banks the front end was just to light. Gotta Toyota on propane, 42 Super Swampers cut, I think , front forward , lift, lockers etc. This thing is a absolute beast!
@@pbmachines972 Yeah, this guy has quite a few toys. Rail Buggies, side by side etc. 80 x 40 garage , lift pretty sweet. He has worked all his life though, no freebies! Me, I can't do that. Retired and disabled. Shotgun blast at close range while working.
Congrats on laying down one of the smoothest, if not THE smoothest, bedliner jobs!!! Not to knock anyone, but you see a lot of blotchy DIY jobs and it can turn you off to doing a full vehicle. But you Sir, show that you can get a great result. Thanks for sharing!

One of the cleanest Raptor Liner jobs I’ve seen thus far. I’m still deciding on a color and I’ve also been wondering if you could add some sort of metal flaking to this product. Job well done sir! 👍🏼
This one got a very presentable, good looking finish, it's up there among the best according to what many of us like. Well done at a decent cost and it was done in good taste. It's easy to throw cubic money at a project to get a predictably hoity toity shiny paint job. This one turned out great after some work and imagination, I like it a lot.
8:01 rig looks pretty slick with the solid front grill, charger/challenger vibe.. wonder if its possible to get enough airflow to the road with some kind of solid panel there, add some hood vents for sure
Taco.... Do you run a RC lift? If so do you like it? I have one on mine (2nd time around) and i dont feel like its that great...i mean i feel EVERY bump and crack in the road, and it seems to roll quite a lot.....shocks wise....
Upgrade the shocks cheap ass. I going from a 4.5 rc lift to a 6.5 long arm rc lift with fox shocks and 1 ton steering upgrade kit with built dana 30s with upgraded drive shafts
Been good to do the jams if enough product remained (with time to spray it) and why not remove the bolt on body panels and scuff/spray rather than depend on seam seal? (Ive never had a jeep that didnt get a fender flare bumped enough to dislodge a bond to the body) keep in mind, ive never dealt with bolt on body panels, so my previous question may be ridiculous, if so, its out of my ignorance on the topic, not as a "troll". Thanks. Looks awesome
That looked really good you did a good job I do body work too and I got a 99 Jeep Cherokee that I want to ride online so it's good to see what it's going to look like when I'm done

Just take gloss off no shiny spots do not burn through any paint and a kit and a half to do that job so you’ll need two kits a kit normally does one full size bed
