Tbh I think you forgot the character development of Ninth (Minene Uryu). I feel like she's probably the most underrated person in this anime. I mean yes of course at the end it might be a little but too much with her having a part of deus powers, but simply the fact that she changed from a psychotic terrorist who wouldn't mind killing teenagers to get what she wants to a person who helped yuki and falls in love with a detective and sacrifices herself... also she becomes a loving mother?

Yea her character development was going so well until the last few episodes,when her arc was turned into a full on barrel-roll thanks to MC's "Mr. Pussy turns into James Bond at meeting,except not really? It was an act? Oh wait he just murdered 20 people including children without explaining the reason until 5 episodes later" arc and how it brought the detective's life to a quick end without much development between the 2. Then she dies,but not really,then she has kids and a husband that somehow hasn't handed over the renowned terrorist to the police implying the fact that he accepted the whole dimension splitting bullshit? Yea I am going to call absolute trash on that bruh.

I was very depressed and sad not only for Yuno but for Yukki being stuck in space like that. Until I saw the OVA, then I was truely satisfied with the series :)
This is what everyone says....if they turn it off before seeing what's AFTER the credits. Honestly I'm sick of hearing it. The ending is good. The OVA doesn't accomplish anything except filling in some gaps that arguably don't need filling.
Note to self: NEVER watch his reviews UNTILL I have watched the anime. Plus, don't EVER type a note to self in a comment section or else you will be in a pile of commenters shitting on you.

That's how you do god stories right - humanlike. You don't make them single omnipotent omniscient beings like monotheism, you make pantheons of humanlike ones with stories that get sympathy or rage.

the end made me sad too I really hoped some how Yuno and Yukki would be able to be happy together in the end. I have seen the Ova but that still leave questions open like is Yuno made god of the third world and Yukki stays there with her and they share the responsability?

+Liam Aharon I think the reason people hate the ending is because well....it isn't explained. Yuno just shows up to meet Yuki somehow because of reasons. The OVA actually explains how the ending even happened and we actually get to see Yuno be reunited with Yuki with our own eyes, which does make it more satisfying from a story telling perspective. Still, I didn't hate the shows version of the ending. It made it pretty clear that everything worked out in the end and it does give you a better picture of where everyone else ended up, so it served its purpose.
I personally LOVED this anime...but, at the same time I do agree that the ending was indeed very, very shitty...and it nearly had me depressed for almost a whole week...lol same thing with toradora 😅😂

I guess one could complain about the time difference between 2nd and 3rd world when Yuno shows up but God himself and his two demigods could surely make it work with MAGIC! :)

MARVELOUS, ARKADA. This was a wonderful review, the comedic aspects were perfectly timed. Round of applause for Arkada! And no, this is not sarcasm or anything of the like, it was genuinely entertaining to watch.
**SPOILERS**I know Yuki is catching a lot of heat, but you cannot tell me that his relationship with Yuno was not perfect for the show. The show is edgy. You can't trust anyone, but at the same time, because of the style of it, you want a teammate. THAT'S why I loved this show. It was Yuno AND Yuki. Had it been any other guy, it simply would not work. Why? Because in general, guys are lustful(this is coming from a guy), especially at his age to early 20s. Meaning that they would have went head strong and supported Yuno's crazy actions. I mean, the girl was kissing him and offering sex 3 times a day. And that just doesn't seem right. She was in the game. As an audience, we didn't know what she had in store. For the first I think, 12 episodes I was damn near positive that she was using Yuki for a bigger and possibly sinister cause. In the end, yeah, he loved her, but I can make sense of it. He didn't just fall in love with her because she kissed him every time she saw him. He experienced countless moments of her throwing herself on the line for him. I loved that he maintains his humanity. What would this show be without at least ONE voice of reasoning? Even the cops killed people without giving the slightest fuck. Would the show really be the same if every time they killed someone there was literally no emotion but expressions of wickedness. I liked this show how it was. Even the plot holes weren't really plot holes to me. I got the story. However, if you think about it too much, as said, you will confuse yourself, but imo it makes sense.

Which is the worst damn thing to do to him and is the reason why I personally hate the ending of Mirai Nikki. I don't even care about any of the plot holes, I just hate that they built him as a "normal" human and then threw it away!
Seventh were amazing as well. Though their screen time didn't really grant them any time to develop alot, they didn't need to and were fully fleshed out aswell as just damn likable throughout the short and sweet time we got with them.

While that would be interesting to watch, i disagree. I believe that Yuno was a good test to Yuki's sanity and humanity. I also believed if he did go as insane as Yuno that he wouldn't be the same person and character that made the pairing so unbelievably well. After all if that did happen then what would've become of the world when he became god? That's just my belief though.

I don't know how but this fucking anime got to me, I love it to death. I watched it in about 5 days and that was 2 weeks ago, I haven't been able to watch anything else or do anything else for that mater I have been a 'train wreck' for these 2 weeks, this anime got me good, real good EVERYTHING(for the most part) I loved AND I KNOW all 'bout the plot holes and shit but I still love it. It seems the general consensus for this anime is, you either love it or its a 'meh' anime for you. I still can't believe a anime(or tv show/movie all the same shit) could do this to me.
'Bout the dub, I watched the anime dubbed because I couldn't find a 1080p torrent with good seed. But I watched the OVA subbed and Yuno sounded like a 10 year old girl, it didn't seem right... Oh and I also cried like a 9 year old girl seeing a unicorn getting killed by Yuno^^

I just want to point out a little annoyance to me that was made in your review.
You mention Mirai Nikki's story not being the most original. That's fine, I agree with you on that. But you brought up Deadman Wonderland as an example of this. That I'm not as fine with because if you did research on the source material for both series you'd know that Mirai Nikki was a manga that came out a year before deadman wonderland's manga came out.
Aside from that wonderful review as always.
I've seen hundreds of anime series, about a 100 anime films and I've dealt with dozens of people telling me that this show isn't good. Even after all these years and all the other shows I've watched, when I rewatched mirai nikki my mind was set. This is a fantastic show. The characters are more engaging and interesting than most anime I've seen (which is a lot) if you pay attention, the plot holes are all filled, everything is explained. And the love between yuno and yuki is quite literally the strongest love I've seen in any work of fiction, book, film or otherwise. It's not masterpiece, the animation isn't that impressive, the second opening is lacking, some plotlines are rushed. But it's great even with these flaws. One of the best anime ever made. Please don't discount it just because others don't like it, I really think everybody should watch the whole thing and then see how they think.
悪霊退散 i agree with most of these things and agree that i absolutely love this anime, but yuno is very much an abuser and a psycho (which technically is the whole point of her) so the bond she forms with yukki is mostly a mix of yukki finding her cute, relying on her for survival, manipulation, and a tad bit of remaining feelings towards a girl he originally thought was sweet and caring an couldn’t harm a fly. and the plot holes are indeed filled at one point or another, but some of them aren’t in your face or more likely hidden in subtext or explained poorly, but granted, any show will have just about the exact same issue. all in all, i recommend anyone to watch it, and especially if you enjoy battle royale type shows, an art style of anime that is one of my personal favorites, eye grabbing and diverse characters, and a kickass first anime intro.
Their "love" is literally the result of stalking and manipulation, not to mention yukki almost having no backbone whatsoever which just made it easier for yuno. It's stockholm syndrome in the fanciest way possible

I just finished watching this and I actually really enjoyed the ending. It felt real. No cliché happy ending. It wasn't what I wanted to happen but I enjoyed that they didn't force the storybook ending.

I watched it prior to writing my first comment and personally believe that it should've just remained the way it was at the end of episode 26. I think that the OVA feels a bit forced, aimed to please those who weren't fond of an unhappy ending.
***** even though if you waited through song you could see on Yukki's diary Yuno comming to see me. That's why I didn't think this anime even without the OVA had a sad ending. The OVA was just there to show the audience the trip Yuno had to go through to finally meet Yukki.

I happen to like Yuno much better in the dub then in the sub. Just the way she says "pooky" all covered in blood always gives me an evil chuckle.
I freaking loved the first half of the series - then came the "I'm gonna drug you and lock you up and we're not gonna talk about it two episodes later!"-subplot and derailed the entire show for me, unfortunately.
Honestly if you haven't watched this anime you're missing out. The ending isn't fantastic, but you'll surely enjoy it! It has so many factors of horror, romance, action, and the way it all comes together near the end makes it so worth watching.

Recently finished this anime.
And yes, Deus ex Machina DOES, in fact, Deus ex Machina'd someone/something in this show, despite what Arkada says.
Also, I loved the ending. I have no idea what plotholes everyone keeps talking about, honestly.

There are plot holes. This is due to the fact that Mirai Nikki is based on a manga series. The anime, I think, is rushed and there might been important details that were left behind when making the anime adaptation.
I quite enjoyed the anime overall, I watched all 26 episodes in 1 day on a whim, and I found that throughout the entire anime, it was well put together in the fact that there was great violence, yet an interesting story line, a crazy psycho bitch and the end was phenomenal. In my opinion of the hundreds of anime I have seen, I think it was great put together and the twist was perfect overall in my opinion I give it 8/10.
In one day? Damn.

DerpyPickle true, but the reason why i didn't mind yuki all that much was primarily because he acted like anyone else would in a situation like his if he were to get suddenly thrown in this whole mess. Yes, i admit, he was a major pussy through out more than half of the series but it's justifiable because out of all the psychotic characters, he was one of the few who still had his sanity, so it made sense as to why he acted this way.
I found this anime to be VERY enjoyable to watch (one of my favorites of all time). The opening really got your attention and really got you excited for the series. Not going to lie, Arkada's review did put me off in watching the series because of how the series ended and also how people reacted with the ending. A lot of people complained that the series had a lot of "Plot holes" which in my opinion, weren't a big deal at all. How I watched this series is that I focused most of my attention to Yuno and I'm glad I did since she's the main story. You suppose to feel this bond between Yuno and Yukki through out the series.
*SPOILER*
Yuno went through a lot of hard times (tough decisions) and all you want is for her to find happiness.The "Happy End" meassage was for Yuno and Yukki living together after the whole game/series was over. Yukki wanted Yuno to live a happier life which in the end they find each other once again and they live happily ever after which make this series wonderful.
P.S. "If there's a series that you want to watch, just go ahead and watch it. Don't let anyone tell you other wise."

Personally, I sometimes consider this a comedy show. There were times where the writers tried too hard to make it "dark". Also characters were rather (very) weak with the exception on Yuno who had her entertaining times...but she's still a really really anoyying character who's way over the top.
***** I understand why people like it, but I honestly found it rather disappointing. The plot waa clusterfuck-ish, and some of the "dark" scenes are just imho hilarious (shrine girl getting raped). But as many people enjoyed it, I guess it still can be fairly entertaining if you turn your brain off

I hate Yuno. Hate her with a passion! She's selfish, clingy and only cares what she wants and not what Yukkii wants. For example she tried to kill his friends and tried to force him to be alone with just her. That. Is. Selfish.
Now, people will probably call me a mindless yaoi fan but Akise is better. He cares about him and doesn't care if he has friends or not. He doesn't lie to him nor did he kill someone that Yukkii cherished. Yuno always lied to him and that's not a good relationship. A relationship filled with lies is never a good one. I can't think of time where Akise lied to Yukkii.
And most of all at least Akise didn't *KIDNAP* Yukkii.
And to be honest if Akise was a girl, I would still ship Yukkii with Akise.

The problem I had with this anime was that every 5 minutes I was pausing the video just trying to guess what was going to happen next and trying to work it out for my self. You really have to expect the unexpected with this anime, people who may seem like good characters will change and the amount of mixed emotion you have for the characters is extraordinary, one minute you will love them and the next you will want them dead, one of those "Brain says no but heart says yes type scenarios"

Deus lives up to his name in the OVA when he stops the third murmur from chasing Yuno. He blocked the pathway from Murmur to Yuno as Yuno opened the sphere with the katana.
I agree how you point out its certain flaws, and for me personally, I would go and watch it wherever you can (Yes there are other sites (cough PIRATING cough) that show all of Mirai Nikki/Future Diary dubbed for free. And a healthy tip for people who are watching this show, remember the three main rules of Mirai Nikki/Future Diary.
1) Don't piss off Yuno
2) Do not injure/touch/think about Yuki around Yuno

Yukiteru is one of the most ridiculous characters I've ever seen. I liked the Anime ending though, I prefer sad endings. I don't get why people hate the ending so much, what did you expect, that both Yuno and Yuki became gods and lived happily forever? Is that any better, seriously?

*Spoiler* its a post credit scene of the 26th episode (the last besides the ova) You see Yuno and Yuki for a moment how they create a new world (probably). Its just a picture of them with plant in a ball-thing. Murmur said "they" create "finally" a new world. (Because Yukki didnt want to make one for 10'000 years(?) because Yuno died). So actually the very very ending is in the 26th episode. The Ova just explained a little bit how it happend. I need to read the Manga, i heard its "better" whatever that means.
And ps. acutally, honestly I was hardly annoyed by yukki too, BUT since I saw EVERYTHING (multiple times) its just how he need to be for the whole story to (kinda) work. And he growth to a good Character. Actually I'm like him so I can understand him so good. Im sure he has a reaaally big heart, just making mistakes because he's unsecure. Human I would say?

It was a very intriguing show at the very least, the censoring messed up the intensity of the gore and sick murders though. The graphics were also amazingly detailed. Nonetheless it made history in it's own way, nobody knew was Yandere was nor did they like it until they seen this show. So, if you're a true Otaku you should at least watch this series just as an observer to pinpoint why people love this show, I do that all of the time.

I hate Yuno. Her craziness didn't make me enjoy watching it, it just angered me. Even though I saw her backstory, she still made me angry. However, I do REALLY like the third world Yuno WAY better. If she was the Main Yuno then I would've loved her.

i would not call it a gore fest. gore fest is dead man wonderland or hellsing where a bullet will cause splatters of blood to come out of the body. the gore in this anime is realistic to the actual injury. when a guy was cut with a katana he bled out the wound but it didnt spray out. when uro juggular was cut it didnt spurt out but came ut in a realistic manner. same with 12th's death and all of the friends deaths when he shot them. blood didnt spurt out, it just came out in a natural ammount

Yay! I'm not the only one who didn't like the ending!
But honestly it wasn't so much the plot holes but how it ended. You see, for most of the anime, I honestly didn't give a crap for either Yuki or Yuno because Yuki just seemed like a total whiny wimp, while Yuno was a batshit crazy overly-obsessive girlfriend. Like seriously...I was rooting for 6th to win! And when 6th died, I was rooting for 9th. (We have to admit though...9th would have made a WAY better God than Yuki!)
But THEN from episode 20 onwards, due to Yuki "getting some balls" and Yuno's backstory (especially when she went all badass!), I REALLY started to get more invested with them and even starting caring about their relationship!
Unfortunately, you know how it ended, and it pissed me the hell off, because I FINALLY was starting to like them...only to have THAT happen! Not to mention...I feel like I just watched the whole series for nothing. Like it was one big disappointment.
So yeah, I wouldn't watch it again and I wished I never decided to watch the whole thing in the first place, because the ending just left me empty. I don't hate the anime...I just don't like how it turned out.
In fact, I was so bothered by the ending that I decided to write an fanfic of it with better characters, a better plot and a MUCH better ending! My own version of Future Diary...

Im so tired of people complaining about yuno and yuki's love but it's actually more complex than you'd think, And is actually really powerful Yuno was willing to become a cold blooded killer for the one she loved. Before her checkered past she was a sweet girl who wouldn't even think of harming anyone she was tortured by her two parents which she still accidentally killed and felt really guilty about and treasured there corpses. Yukki loved Yuno enough to not only see past her faults but when she was in pain he returned that love. If you where in a situation where someone was trying to kill the one you love and the only way to keep them alive was to kill that person. Often times people claim that they love their significant other but doesn't want to be labeled a killer wouldn't that be selfish. Shouldn't you love that person enough to want them to live even if that labeled you a murderer. And what if yur significant other killed someone to protect you are the bounds of justice stronger than love. Are you willing to ostracize the person you love just because they became a muderer? It takes a really strong love to step out of norms just to be with someone. Not justifying this just giving people a different perspective.
+CayLily You remember that age old saying, "if you love them, let them go"? ...Yeah, Yuno isn't abut to let Yukki go any time soon. She doesn't even want him to spend time with his friends! What would happen if he broke up with her? Not good stuff, I'll tell you that.
Yukki himself seems to develop a weird sort of... acceptance of his fate during the course of the show and deludes himself into interpreting that feeling as love for Yuno. Now, that's just my own feeling about what happened, but even so. Far be it from me to tell people what to ship, and I guess the two of them sort of work it out by the end? A little? But theirs is not a relationship to look up to, to be sure.

+CayLily Yuno was a crazy bitch filling a hole. Yukkiteru was a weak willed, socially awkward kid. That is not love. Yuno was able to bend Yuki's will into acceptance of her. I liked the anime, but I really hate both of them.
But the problem lies in the fact that Yuno was willing to become a cold blooded killer for Yukki, because that isn't the fucking case. She locked her parents up and left them for death and only noticed when they died. That's a deranged kid. She already had a deranged personality along with her normal self which was manifested through her abuse as a child. There is no "love" in this. Just a mentally weak boy being manipulated by a psycho.
I admit to being a total fangirl of this series, but yeah, if you think about it, the plot holes are basically the biggest problem of this show,. That and the protagonist. But it's still very entertaining and I love it to death.

TheWraithOfMooCow One is Yuni kidnapping and molesting Yukki, and when others save him, they act like nothing happened.
To me, the ending couldn't possibly have been more fitting. Winning the game wasn't supposed to feel satisfying BECAUSE you had to go through all of the characters you feel absolutely sorry for, and the ending was a good reflection of that unsatisfaction you felt nagging at the back of your mind as each character died.

Ok! Just finished watching it this night. And yeah, I admit there were a lot of times I would yell at Yuno for being a bitch. But in all honesty, I think she's one of the few yandere's out there whom I really like(another one is Lucy,from Elfen Lied). I ld have really liked another ending, but this one leaves me more satisfied(as per the lasting memory,i.e., the appeal is concerned). Give it a try, you might just completely love it!

To me, what matters is characterisation and, as I said, yenderes in general, are a quite interesting trait tovhover over and experiment with. You may hate her( or any yenderes) for killing/doing wrong thing, even I would actually, but,like I said, I love the characters by traits and uniqueness! it's not that I look at what she did, I look at why she did? what's up with her twisted mentality?

No, for a character to be good, they don't need to be morally good or do no bad deeds. I fucking love Solf J. Kimblee, specifically Brotherhood Kimblee, and he's a fucking psychopath. But Yuno, along with most yanderes, I just don't like because, most of the time, nothing they do ever endears them to me. Shion from Higurashi and Homura from Madoka Magica are two examples of yanderes that I like. I THINK Homura counts as a yandere, at any rate. The two traits they share? THEIR OBSESSION WITH THE OBJECT OF THEIR AFFECTION ISN'T THEIR ONLY CHARACTER TRAIT! With Yuno, that is her only real character trait other than being a psychopath. EVERYTHING she does is for Yukiteru, and we don't ever get much of a glimpse outside of that.
However, with Shion, she has much more of a character outside of her love for Satoshi. She does things for people more than him. She does terrible things as a result of her love for him, but we know that there's more of her character outside of that love.
As for Homura, while she does almost everything as a result of her (percieved) love for Madoka, she isn't a psychopath about it and, again, she has more of a character underneath that. Yuno would basically kill anyone who even thought about getting close to Yukiteru just because they got close to Yukiteru. Homura isn't irrational like that. I don't remember exactly, but I believe there was a point where she was antagonistic towards Kyoko about that. However, while Yuno is antagonistic towards the group because they got close to Yukiteru, Homura was antagonistic towards Kyoko because she was a threat to Madoka. Her goal was to make sure Madoka never became a Magical Girl, and Kyoko threatened that plan. And when she takes Madoka's goddess powers away from her in Rebellion, she does so to allow her a normal life and the ability to exist in the world again.

I'd really like to hear about the plot holes. Since it sounds like the main point of a low rating, I think you really should have explained yourself, I didn't understand what you meant, since I usually have trouble picking up the little things.
I've watched basically no anime, but this show is what really got me into the genre, mainly because of the personal connections I feel with the main character Yuki. I'm not sure if that's a good motive, but I'm sure any experienced anime fan will tell me there are better anime out there. Still though, I love the show as my favorite thus far.

The greek word for machine translates more accurately to "mechanism", so deus ex machina would be closer to " Mechanism of devine intervention".
....you have to admit both of our reasons here fit quite accurately, and it depends on where you are, the translation will be different to different languages.......also youtube has a slightly built in auto translator so that's why i bring that up.....if you actually are typing English.

I've not watched Attack On Titan because people being eaten by giants would be too much for me. Can I ask your opinion on "9"? There are 2 gods mentioned outright Haruhi and the god from another galaxy that sent the girl that is a probe. But I think that Haruhi's love interest is also a god but one who has not started to wake up yet.

Let me enlighten you. Mirai Niki (Future Diary) is a love story. By all means disagree with me, but in all honestly this Anime tore me up. Its a very good love story when you think about it that way, when you think only of Yukki and Yuno...like damn i can't do anything now that its over.

It has a cast that is so colorfull, any resonable person will think this is a parody on horror/psycho genre;
Not to mention skrits shooting rockets and main protagonist being as likeable as a dead sward of leeches; He is a protagonist for selfpitifying, no balls, pussy kids that couldn't be manly if you wrote it on their forehead;
The show tries so hard to be seinen that its sad to watch it squirm under bad writting;

1st episode started real good but as soon as you watch 2 and 3, a human with IQ over 120 will see that Mirai Nikki considers you, the viewer, a mentally challenged person; And reading all these comments makes me fear for humanity;
There is just not enough space and time to point out the depth of shittines that is mirai nikki;

I actually thought the ending was the best part about the series. Had me in tears ;(
I understand the frustration people have towards yuuki, it does take him a while to grow more confident and eventually become a decent badass. His initial - and for a majority of the show - cowardice is his personality. He was a desperately lonely introvert with family and communication issues who gets literally thrown into a game where everybody, is murderous or crazy to a degree. Damn straight he'd be scared out of his mind and try to use psycho yuno as a way to survive. His cowardice did get a little extreme here and there but in the end he really did grow.

I didn't like how he was too trusting of people. Like when he became friends with Hinata. Wtf you wouldn't become friends with someone who tried to kill you. I get that she was his first friend or whatever but still she tried to fucking kill him, he can't just be like "oh maybe she's actually a nice person who got pressured into doing bad things." No, that was really dumb

You kept saying "big gaping plot holes," but what were they?!
I saw the whole thing, and while following your advice of "shutting your brain off" i couldn't pick a point specifically where they was a plot hole but I'd like to know.
The one issue i had was if the gasais were dead, rich, and owned a bank why wasn't there an investigation into their deaths until akise had to dig around. Didn't a detective come by and question yuno at all? Yuno hid their bodies in a room before burying them. it would've been easy for a detective to find the corpses, granted if yuno didn't kill them before they found it.
That part just never made sense to me.
There are a few plot holes I can think of:
1) Deus said that participants that don't show up to the meetings are disqualified, even though this was never mentioned before until the episode he said that.
2)When Deus gave some of his power to 9th to stop Murumuru, he could have just made her god and stopped the game
3) In the third world Deus made Yukiteru and Yuno his successors without the need of the survival game, which makes the plot of the anime pointless

Well the first one, he was almost about to disqualify yuki and yuno but you're right i don't recall him mentioning that, but i can understand if you don't go to the meetings that could call for some sort of penalty. So that wasn't too farfetched to me.
What was so absurd was the entire premise of this killing game. if deus had the option and capability to pick someone without the game that DOES make the game utterly useless.
Another plot hole that just came to mind!
The bomb that was attached to minenes heart when she was in the gasai bank.
Now, how can she be STILL alive and yet the bomb attached to her heart still went off?
If the bomb exploded, that means she died.
Or more technically, her heart stopped, which would make her clinically dead. However there is a possibility she could live if her heart was restarted but in almost all causes there would be major brain damage from lack of oxygen.
So Deus reached in, saved her from the blast, but did he also restart her heart?
If that was true, that means he technically brought a dead person back to life. Which from the plots' rules, should be impossible for a god to do.
Deus gave her some god powers way before that happened but she could still die regardless of being part god and she could still feel pain.
Also she shows no sign of brain damage but her body still looked banged up.You'd think deus could atleast give her hand back or something, but apparently he can restart hearts and prevent brain damage.
That Deus sure is selectively powerful.
ReachSkyla The sad thing is, I had to stop thinking about it analytically, which is kind of a downer for me, because that's partly how I get my enjoyment from watching shows or movies. I still enjoyed it , but not as much as I could have, seeing how it's hard for me to think about stuff that could happen in the story when there's fridge logic all over the place.
ReachSkyla when deus took ninth into his place, the bomb disconnected from ninth's heart thus meaning it was no longer connected to her heart and couldnt feel her heartbeat so it blew up. i think you guys are overthinking it a bit too much

That doesn't really change that deus "saved" a dying woman. Minene was as good as dead.
Although the terms of her "god powers" aren't really defined. We know she has improved strength and flight abilities, but who knows what else.

I literally just finished this anime 5 minutes ago and headed straight here.This anime, along with a whole lot of other animes I have watched, made me rethink my whole life tbh. We don't get a second chance, once our time here on Earth is up, it's over. I truly learned a lot from watching all these animes. From now on I will cherish each and every moment of my llife, because I know it won't last forever.
