- In celebration of Gravity Falls' 10 year anniversary since its official premiere, I thought its time to give an homage to the show for how much of an impact it had in the animation industry, leading to shows like Amphibia and The Owl House as well. Also, Grunkle Stan is by far my favorite character of Gravity Falls, and it's not surprising to see why

that was probably the most intense part of the show, forget about bill cypher and all that cause bill was evil and was already obvious he would ultimately be destroyed in the end, but a protective uncle getting ready to shoot someone so that his niece and nephew can bring a pig onto a bus is probably the most intense and dramatic thing out of the whole show lol

Grunkle Stan is a perfect example of why I enjoy Gravity Falls. Although it's intended for kids, the humor is something that adults can genuinely enjoy and laugh at without being forced.
It's edgy without being pretencious and family friendly
The kids are savage too. "Not as creepy as Dipper's search history" still haunts me

My dad watched this show with me as a kid and we still quote it all the time. It’s a rare occasion that adults don’t get tired of their kids watching cartoons. Love GF!

I mean I imagine Hirsch still had to fight to get it approved but still.
They allowed a room full of taxidermy heads dripping blood and chanting "ancient sins". The double standard is so ridiculous it's not even worth mentioning.
He had to fight to keep the line "there once was a man from Kentucky", because Disney S&P claimed it may be rhymed with "fucky". And it's only slightly less nonsensical with context.
In one episode, Stan was reflecting sunlight onto Gideon's eyes, and he was originally supposed to say "Blind the child", but Disney had Alex change it to "Burn the child"
I can imagine how confused he was by the discrepancies in their decisions. It all seems so unpredictable
